Halloween 2011

 This year for Halloween we went as "Greeks" (since Ty is part Greek). Madi was Athena, Kevin was a Soldier, Nate was a guardian lion, Ty was Hercules, and I was Medusa (my snakes fell out of my hair).

 Madi loved dressing up as "Athena" because it's her Yiayia's name. Kevin just liked the sword he got to carry. :)

Fish Lake

 We went to Fish Lake a few months ago where we went shooting, played family baseball and soccer, and just relaxed! I love that place. Nate loved all the mud...

Ty convinced me to "try to look tough" with his and Dan's guns. I just look goofy, but I felt tough for 20 seconds. :)

Caleb and Kevin found an ant hill and started throwing rocks at it. It wasn't a big deal until Nate went and sat right on top of the fire ant hill and was covered with them. We had to strip him, because they were even down his diaper. Poor kid.

Girls Camp

This past week was a crazy one of fun with lots of preparation. I started out going to our wards girls camp in Star Valley, Wy where we went rafting down the Snake river, fly fished, 4 wheeled, shot guns, crafted, etc. It was a blast. I love my calling in YW.

We were so lucky to get to stay in such a beautiful place.

After girls camp, Ty came and picked me up and we drove straight to Bear Lake to spend 4 days with my family in a beautiful cabin they rented. We went boating, rented these sweet family bikes (that are a killer to peddle), swam, etc.

Check out the beautiful view off the deck of the cabin. There were even fireworks. It couldn't have been better! Thanks Mom and Dad for another great family vacation!

My family left on Sunday to go home and Wangsgard's family arrived Sunday. So we headed to our next great adventure just down the road at another cabin...

Happy 1 yr Birthday Nate

We celebrated Nate's birthday at the park with family and friends.

I thought it fit to do cookie monster as the theme because Nathan LOVES to eat!

The cake was part brownie, part cookies and cream ice cream, and part chocolate cake. It was delicious, but not the easiest to decorate when the ice cream melts so fast!
