The Flats

 It's so fun when we all have a chance to haul cows together. Zeb is such a tease. Most everytime he tries to dunk landon in the trough and occasionally me while we're waiting for the water to fill.  Once he did get landon's hair wet and then I had to help landon get him.

Shooting Range

 We had lots of fun for homevening shooting clay pigeons. Landon was thrilled he got to bring his bebe gun!

Fall Pictures

 We went up Blue Mtn. to take some pictures.

Landon thought we were taking cowboy pics so he insisted one with his hat. Cute Cute.

Dark Canyon

We took a picnic and went on a fourwheeler into Dark Canyon to fix a fence that was down from the river flooding.  We had so much fun. Landon loves fourwheelers. He's ready to drive in on his own.

 And he thinks he can drive trucks as well. Zeb was allowed when he 6 so who knows?

I thought I'd post this cause it was great that all most every immediate family member from Zeb's family was there.

First Branding

 Landon has been so helpful this year.

 Zeb roping calfs for us to brand.  Zeb is such a great cowboy and I want him to know I admire him. He goes through a lot out there.

 Landon vaccinating. He and I switched off while I was branding too and we all got stuck with it before the day was out and I was sick for a week after, hoping it doesn't alter me.

Me helping landon.  Branding was a while ago and today landon asked me why do they cut these shorts like this?  He was wearing a jersey short with a split on the side and he was starring at his seam. He asks, "Why do they cut these on the side like this?"  I don't really know.   He said, "Who did this?"  I saidl the manufacturer who made it.  He's like, "When I meet him I'm going to ask him why he did that?"  I'm all well you probably will never meet him, bud.  Then he says, "I bet they cut it like an ear tag." I'm laughing.  He's says, "They must be calf pants!"  What.  Who comes up with that.  I love him so so much. Love you Land

Landon's Birthday

We got him a much needed bigger bike.

They had a race to see who could build the biggest corrals.  I gave out several prizes cause they were so creative. Some did round corrals and some did individaul pens, etc. I was lots of fun.

Zeb was nice enough to bring Landon's horse back out of the canyon to let the kids ride and when we saw how rowdy they were he decided to lead them instead of them riding alone. Good idea I think.

Landon picked out a mexican bull pinyata and it was a huge hit everyone got a turn to wack it several good hits

Opening their presents was the funniest part it was like an auction.  They were all huddled around Landon saying take mine, open mine. We had two pistol cakes and Landon really liked them. So then it was all good and done and that was my favorite part. : /

16 inch fish



Landon caught a 16 inch fish at the 4th. He's very excited about it.

Riding Part 2

 Landon is always leading I guess we're to slow. He let''s his horse guide him through the brushest trails. He hangs on and has a blast sometimes he gets a ways ahead of us so I can't see him. Zeb has to tell me to calm down and that he's okay.

 It's nice to be riding when the sun comes up

 I thought there were a lot of pretty colors on our ride and the view changed every 10 minutes almost. It was a great day.

 I liked these colors too.

I was going to write something here that would embarrass him but I won't.

 So It's been a long time since I've posted but wanted to get these pics up of a great day and great memory.

 Twin is so beautiful and peaceful in the summer. Good times.
