A little bit of everything

So I know I haven't been posting. I've been very busy but now I have time because I quit my job! Yay! I love love being at home with Landon and so does he. Anyway Here are a few things that have happened in the last few months.
We carved pumkins the night before halloween. I don't think I got a pic of landon costume? hmm well anyway he told me my pumkin was the scary face pumkin (on the right)???

We went to twin for the day. There was a cool breeze in the air and it was very beautiful. Landon's exploring and relaxing all at the same time on the fence.

Zeb doesn't pose so all his pictures look like he's saying something. :)

Landon here was just running up and down the road.
And I know this is months old but he started preschool again in Aug and I got a few really cute pictures of him.

Sister Dalton

Tanda went to the MTC on the 12th! So now we have two family missionaries and Nathan said they pass each other all the time. I don't have pictures yet but hopefully will post some of Tanda soon. I think Zeb is very proud of Tanda for her good choices because when we were in Monticello for her setting apart and farewell we got back to the house and he said now we have to take pictures so you can blog this. He was teasing but totally serious I think.

Tanda will be in the MTC a couple weeks and then is going to Anchorage Alaska. We've heard from her and she said she's coordinating the sister's right now, which I have no idea what that means but she is doing good. She has seen people she knows from LDS business school and from Logan. She said that Scott was right that you don't realize what you're stepping into. We wish you great success Tanda.

Nathan's at the MTC!

Landon gave Nathan a big hug to last two years.

Before Nate left we took family pictures and this one was cute of all of his nieces and nephews.

I posted this one cause I just thought it was a cute pic of ging and sienna.

Here's Nate right before they dropped him off and a good scrapbook phot0! :)
Of course my parents and all of us are very proud of Nate and thankful that he's a good example.

Swim Lessons, Birthday & Endowments

Landon started swim lessons! He has been very excited about being tall enough. (barely though). The first day he drank a lot of water! Poor guy, but he stuck it out and has a while still to go. I'm not sure how much he'll learn but it's fun anyway!

Nathan turned 19! I really can't believe my little siblings are getting soo big. This is him blowing out his pie candles. We went over to the chuck wagon in Monticello and it was such a good deal $6 for everything including drink and desert. It was good too. Happy Birthday Nate!

Nathan also took out his endowments this week. He said we took too many photos, it felt like a wedding. Thanks Nate for being such a good example! We love you!

Fourth of July

This is the Fourth of July parade in Blanding. The parade kicked off our day of excitement. I think this is them waiting for more floats=candy.

Landon isn't camera shy he'll hold still and cheese it for me.

Landon and me

Thursday we went to the block party on 4th West and it turned out really fun. Landon got a flag tattoo, the kids swam and ate, and decorated their bikes, played games and watched fireworks.

When he poses he pulls the funniest faces.

I thought this was a goofy picture. I tried to take a picture as he was throwing the ball and I laughed when I saw what I captured. Pretty funny huh!

Camping

We went camping with my family in the rain this past weekend. It ended up being really fun. The kids played in the water hole left from fridays rain. Saturday my mom had them go on a hike and we picked up leaves and stuff to make bag puppets and then the kids made feather hats and bead necklaces and when they were done they earned a bow and arrows. The kids had so much fun. Sadly my batteries died so no pics of sat. on my camera.

Needless to say we couldn't keep the kids out of the water and mud. I think they all went to bed muddy.

We played cards part of the time. It was fun to relax in the shade.

I thought this picture captured my dad perfectly.

Cole trying to win at cards.

Landon caught a fish and was so so excited. He carried it around for a long long time. I talked him into putting it in the water on a line but he was certain it would get away. Then later that night he left it out so long that it was no good so they told me to put it in the fire so no bears would come. Landon was devastated!...but he survived.

Bronsen and Landon checking on something?

Proud as he can be of his catch!

Admiring his catch.

Don't forget the refreshing fishy beverage.
Thanks mom and dad! Love you.

Branding at Twin

Landon always tries to ride. What a good sport. This is how it ends up.

Landon branding.

Landon walking through the cows in the corral..

Monday we branded at Twin then helped Zeb push the cows to Dry Mesa. It was way hotter than I expected so we got sun burned. I was also very sore I forgot how easy it is to get sore riding. It was a really fun day for us. Zeb worked 18 hours that day so it probably wasn't as fun for him...maybe though....

I thought this picture was funny.

Zeb gave Landon a stick to make his horse go but he decided after a while he didn't need it but through out the drive he was crying because his horse was lagging behind. So when they hauled two lame bulls to the sell in Cortez Zeb bought him some real spurs......every cowboy needs some fancy spurs, fancy spurs according to Landon's favorite song. :]

The poor horse Landon pulled on the reins most of the day, to make him stop and to make him go. :)

Landon tried helping with the branding with my help.

and my very own cowboy!

Girls Trip

The first weekend in June we went on a girls trip to the parade of homes, and shopping with no kids, well plus the babies. It was a lot of fun.

I thought I'd share a few photos I took of the decor.

We went through some of this!

....but there was a lot of this too!

More photos of fun decor....I liked the farm grid.

I think we all had lots of fun and we were happy to come home
to our families.
