This Christmas Season

It has been a wonderful Christmas season...starting with all of the beautiful white snow. I think it brings with it a feeling of peace. We have had so much fun this year enjoying family and traditions. We finally were able to buy our own home. Wow! What a feeling. The first things I got out were our furniture and Christmas stuff to be sure we wouldn't miss the cozy feelings that mangers lite with lights and snow bring. We have had lots of enjoyable times already. Bailey came over to keep me company and we made some homemade presents for family and Visiting Teachers. My sisters, their kids and steve came over one afternoon and went sledding down the small hills behind our house.

The tuesday before Christmas we had the Einerson party at my mom's we had a talent show, my mom sent the kids on a christmas scavenger hunt, we ate soups and rolls and opened our sibling gifts. Amber had all of the boys names since she has half of the grandkids and she bought them these fun punching gloves that make fun sounds and the boys had a blast all night and ever since.

We missed the Johnson Christmas Eve party and went to Grandma Dalton's for Christmas Eve and ate a great dinnner and watched The Forgotten Carols play, it is way good. I have always loved those songs but I never realized there was a play. Zeb's parents are such good reminders of what is really important in life. They gave us food storage for christmas which felt just right. They are so awesome and we love you guys.

Christmas day we ended up in Blanding because of the snow. So we got to go to my mom's amazing Christmas breakfast. She cooks every great breakfast item out there. We had homemade hashbrowns, homemade bisquits and gravy, cut oranges, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, OJ, and I think there was more I forgot anyway it was amazing and she is so cute about it being traditional. We ended up staying there all day playing their rock band. Zeb was really into the guitar so we stayed and enjoyed the family that was there.

Also my grandpa and grandma johnson are so cute they started a tradition of giving there grandkids money for christmas and they include these little drawings and writings about each family or individual's unique qualities. This year they made these little homemade stocking ornaments and had all of the presents hung on their tree. I love them so much they care so much about their family and they're so creative.

Saturday we had a shower for bailey at my house and it was great. We had a tea party theme and went all out with my mom's china, flowers and lace. Just what girls love. We ended out that night with family coming over to eat cafe rio pork burritos and playing games.
It has been a great christmas season full of love and the spirit of christ.

Quirks Tag

Well here are a few of my best quirks..

Here are the rules:
1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Mention rules on your blog.
3. Tell about 6 quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same.
5. Leave a comment to let them know.

1. I always bug my face for some reason or another, either my nose itches or my eyes are dry or I lean on my face, or my hair itches my face.

2. I often substitute words when I'm in a hurry. Like I'll say, will you hand me that wrench. When it's really pliers cause I know you know what I mean. I guess....maybe that's part of #5!

3. I also exchange the first letter in words a lot....the most recent being changing handelier. We were out so Zeb wanted to go straight to my moms and get a crack out of it. I think the brothers-in-laws have an understanding cause there wife's say the same wierd things.

4. Bai and I noticed that we both do this all of the time and it has really started to bug me that I say "Just Kidding" about almost everything. Once I noticed I was saying it the words stuck out like a sore thumb and has been bugging me ever since.

5. I always feel like I am right about most everything. Like how to spell awkward at grandma's I got it in my head I knew how to spell it and it ended up I was totally wrong. They even looked it up there on their cell phone and I didn't believe them until I looked it up on my own computer. That's the only way I believe I'm wrong is with cold hard facts and even then somehow I still feel like I haven't lost the argument. Wierd huh.

6. I guess a sixth quirk is I'm addicted to caffeine which is horrible to admit but I think it's more than just the caffeine cause I will start off the day with determination not to get a pop and go most all day with no problem until I'm out and about getting gas or going grocery shopping or to alco, anywhere there's pop I buy one automatically, it's like a routine, without even thinking, I pick one up like it's a food storage item or something. Then after I take one drink it hits me I wasn't going to drink pop anymore! I really am still working on this!

I tag anyone that hasn't already done this...
