Massive overload of pictures

Since I've been a slacker lately about blogging I decided to update the last 6 months in pictures. We had a great summer and a fun fall. We were able to go to Moab and Disneyland and the girls had a blast.

The girls first real Jeeping experience. We went down with our neighbors and friends the Autrys and their friends Lewis and his daughter Melanie and two of her kids Paige and Chase. Tyler took his remote control rock crawler and instantly made a friend of Chase. They were best buds by the end of the trip. We had some much fun Jeeping.

Chloee and her new friend Chase found this great dirt hill.

This hill is one of the first obsticles to play on on the trail Fins N Things.

This is the other side of that hill.

Brooke loved playing and getting dirty in the dirt.

This is on the way to see the dinosaur tracks on Klondike Bluff. Tyler loves how much this picture shows the flexion of his Jeep.

HALLOWEEN

My two Disney Princesses!

Chloee wanted to be Belle, so we thought we'd spray her hair dark brown. It took two cans of hairsrpay and still wasn't covered all the way. Alot of people didn't recognize her at our ward Halloween party.

Princess Cinderella.

They had a blast trick o treating despite the cold wet weather we had.

Dinseyland
We had a great time at Disneyland. We were expecting to have nice weather in the mid 70's and luckily we checked the weather before we went and found out it would be in the 80's and 90's or we would have ended up in long pants and longsleeved shirts. The temperature hit 99 deg the second day we were there. The cast members said California was having record hot days for November. We were greatful we went on the "off" season for disney and that the lines were almost nonexistant or it would have been a miserable hot vacation.

Brooke and Tigger.

Brooke wasn't sure she liked the character up close.

This is the big C outside California Adventure park.

Tyler and Brooke loved the "tea cups" in "Bugs Land"

MINNIE MOUSE Brooke's favorite character. Minnie was the only character Brooke wasn't afraid of. After we got our picture with her Brooke just stood a few feet away and watched Minnie visit with the other park guests.

The entire crew in front of Disneyland.

Disneyland is truly the happiest place on earth. We had such a fun time and I can't wait to go again. Tyler said that won't be for quite a while since we have gone two years in a row.

Scott and Tara's Wedding

My younger brother Scott got married on June 11 to a wonderful girl named Tara. Don't they look happy. We are so excited to have Tara part of our family, the kids love her. My nephew Logan even had a crush on her and called her his girlfriend for the longest time. The day started with their luncheon and the Lion House. We ate fruit, pastries, yummy french toast, potatoes and sausage for breakfast. After we finished eating they had a few people give a little speech about Scott and Tara, what a sweet couple they are. My mom had a fun game they played where the two of them sat back to back and took their shoe off and gave one to the other. My mom then asked questions about their relationship like who is going to do the dishes, who kissed who first, who said I love you first, who will be the first to say I'm sorry. Scott and Tara had to hold up the shoe of the person who would do these things. It was fun to see their answers and how many they agreed on.

After the luncheon the two were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple by her grandfather, what a neat experience, I'm glad we were able to attend and be a part of this wonderful blessing. I don't have any pictures from the temple because the day was cold and rainy and I left my camera in the car. Both of them looked amazing and had the biggest grins on their faces, they truly looked happy.

That night their reception was beautiful. They ended up having it outside at a friends house on their patio. I wish I had pictures the wedding party looked gorgeous. The food was delicious and my girls couldn't get enough of it. Congrats Scott and Tara, we wish you the best!

Park City....

...so I'm playing catch up on our blog and realized I haven't posted about our weekend in Park City. Tyler's parents have a time share through Marriott, so they take us to the Mountainside Marriott in Park City every year. We look forward to this every year and are excited to stay with family. This year we went in May and celebrated Tracie and Tricia's birthday. We had fun playing, shopping, swimming and just relaxing.

Brooke says to us after we've been home for a few days, "Go to the game room." At the resort they have the best kids room. They have toys for the kids to play with, activities, crafts the kids can do, a Wii and a couple of XBoxes the boys love and they even had a girls night in. Chloee and I went to that and watched "The Princess Diaries" and made a princess crown, she loved it.
Thanks Tony and Gae for the fun!!

Just hangin' out with DAD!

A few Saturday's ago Tyler was mowing the lawn so I sent the girls outside to play. Brooke came in and got food (like she always does), and this is what I found when I looked out back.

Happy Birthday Tyler!

So I'm a little behind on the blogging lately. We've been busy this summer or I just haven't taken the time to blog about it. Tyler turned the big 30 on June 2nd. We celebrated at home with our family on his actual birthday then had a picnic/BBQ on the Saturday after and celebrated both Tyler and Tara's birthday with their family. We met at the park and were supposed to eat around 6 pm, but because sometimes I bite of more than I can chew, dinner was an hour late. I had the crazy idea of cooking dutch oven chicken and potatoes with briquettes and let me just tell you we ended up cooking on the grill and in my oven to finish the food. I'm glad we decided to cook the food at home and transport it to the park or we never would have eaten that night. Once the food arrived at the park we ate and had fun playing on the swings and watching the ducks in the pond, a few of them had fun playing softball. Chloee and Brooke loved watching the ducks, Brooke especially loved the mama duck and the babies. I think everyone had fun despite the late start and the food was yummy! Happy birthday Ty! We love you!

Brooke loved Tracie's fruit dip so much she scrapped the bowl.

Brooke

After stake conference we came home and put the girls down for a nap and this is how we found Brooke. I thought she looked so cute and couldn't pass up a photo.

Glitter Toes

The other day Chloee wanted me to paint her toes and found the glitter instead. So we did glitter toes. I learned how to do a knock off glitter toe/nail at an activity a while back. Here is how you do it. You can get the glitter at your local craft store and any nail polish will work. We started painting her toes with black nail polish then you cover the toe nail with ample amounts of glitter, shacking off the excess (this can get a little messy so we put a paper towel under her toes). Once the polish has dried you paint a clear coat on top and allow to dry. Here is the finished product. We painted her nails with a red and then covered with the same glitter for a different look. We both had fun and saved a ton of money.
