This is the theme for Jingkan assignment. While ideally everyone will take part in the pledge taking exercise, there’ll probably be many who won’t.
Our aim will be to capture the situation during this very minute. (+/- 1 or 2 minutes lah) Be it enthusiastic kids standing upright with their arms across their chests, or adults who don’t give a damn about it (even better if we can show the contrast), we just need to portray the truth of the moment. Expressions are very important too! So.. keep your eyes open and identify potential subjects before the sirens sound.. get yourself in a good position first, especially if the place is very crowded.
In addition, try to show the location at which the photo is taken. Remember the 3 main angles (general, full body, close-up). I will need 5 pictures from everyone at the end of the day.
As it is night-time, lighting conditions are bound to be challenging. If you are using flash, keep in mind the need to balance the ambient by extending your shutter speed. No use sending deer-in-headlight shots.
