Dear all,

This week's update is quite long. Do take your time to read through the entire email, as a REPLY IS REQUIRED.

1. ZhaoSheng 09

Date: 7th March 2009
Time: 8 to 5pm (9 to 4.30pm for applicants)
Venue: SPH (and other places during outdoor trial shoot)
Attached is the detailed info for the activity. Please DO NOT DISCLOSE the trial info to your friends who are applicants!
People who's names are inside, please ensure that you will be PRESENT AND PUNCTUAL on the day itself. Inform us ASAP if there are changes to your schedule.
There are still members who've yet to reply to the previous week's update. Let us know if you can make it if you haven't already done so.

2. Huixun

As we've just updated the contact list, we'd like to know if everyone received the internal newsletter (huixun). Not that latest edition is A5 sized, and topic is on internal camp. (hope you've all been reading) Please reply to state whether you've received this edition. Include your current address if you did not.

3. Banjiang

Just to inform everyone that management have decided to combine banjiang together with next year's yinxin onwards. So, fortunately/unfortunately, both Huiching and I shall be working OT as your leaders till March 2010. But the next batch of leaders will begin "tagging" us from December 08 onwards.

4. Qiangmai

The audition for this annual singing competition will take place on 280309 & 040409. This is sadly the last year this competition will be held. (times are bad) If you are interested to participate, please reply to us and we will direct you on how to submit the application.

5. Activities log

Management have requested that every TXY (that includes us) will be required to keep a record of the assignments he/she has done, be it huixun/ZBcomma/POPcorn/Thumbsup/Omy assignments. The system will be in place after yinxin, and details will be announced by then. The aim of doing this is to keep track of our contributions, and ensure that members have been actively participating in activities.

6. CIP - Conservation Ambassador Program

There's a new CIP activity coming up, for members who are interested/need CIP hours. It's about promoting wildlife conservation to the public, and is organized by Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park. Places are limited, and members have to go through an internal selection. Selected members will be trained by the Zoo/JBP, and the program will last 6 months (you are expected to go once a month). Yes you get to go Zoo/JBP free for 6 months. Interested? Please reply so we can provide you with further details.

Please reply:
1) Whether you are free to attend Zhaosheng, and reasons if you can't attend. (if you haven't already replied in the previous mail) We'll call you if no reply is received by Wed.
2) Whether you have received the most recent Huixun. Include your physical address if you did not.
3) Whether you are interested in participating in Qiangmai 09.
4) Whether you are interested in taking up the CIP.

There will be no official activities for this weekend. To all sec 4's, good luck for your exams =) That's all for the week.

Dear all,

Apologies for the late update. Hopefully everyone enjoyed their holidays. Here are some stuff to take note:

CNY bainian
Recognizing the fact that last weekend was a super busy period with many last minute family visits, we have decided to postpone our bainian activity to this coming Sunday (8th Feb). We are unable to squeeze it into Saturday due to other TXY activities that involves many of our senior members. Do reflect whether you are able to make it on this date.

Zhao Sheng Application
It has been noted that the application procedure stated on the published advertisements are sketchy at best. Note that the application form is to be downloaded at http://www.zbcomma.sg/. Applications for SYD have to come with 5 4R photos you shot, of any theme.
