Week 34 and 6 days. I went in for my non stress test, my blood pressure was too high so my doctor sent me to the hospital to check in at labor and delivery and have some blood work done. The babies' heart rates were fine but I was having contractions and showing signs of pre eclampsia. They scheduled my c-section for 7:00pm that night.
Taylon Chace was born at 8:08pm weighing 4.11 pounds and 18.5 inches long. Thomas Woodrow was born at 8:10pm weighing 4.6 pounds and 18 inches long.
The boys were taken to the nursery to be cleaned up and monitored for an hour to make sure that they didn't need additional help. I was taken into recovery to get feeling back in my legs. My doctor came in to check on me and said that my uterus actually split open as they were cutting it open. I would not have made it one more day pregnant. I have definitely had several guardian angels watching out for me and the twins.
By 10:00pm Ty and I were settled into our room in post partum and the twins were settled in the nursery until I could get out of bed on my own.
By 7am the next morning our pediatrician had been by and said that our twins were doing amazing and could room with us. I was walking slowly and on my way to recovery.

Week 34! I can't believe that we have made it this far. God has sure been listening to our prayers. We started the twice weekly non stress tests on the twins, with Doppler readings. So far they look to be doing great, just a little small. They are expected to be on the small side since there are two of them in there sharing one placenta. They are consistently testing well, but I have to undergo more testing to rule out toxemia again. If I do have toxemia the boys could be born earlier then I want them to be but if that has to happen so be it.
We've made it another week, and every single day counts for us.

Week 33 and counting down. At today's doctors appointment we got to see the twins on ultrasound, they were measured etc. Baby A is weighing 4.7 pounds and Baby B is weighing 4.3 pounds. My doctor is still pretty optimistic that I can make it to 36 or 37 weeks before I have these guys. I am feeling pretty good about that too.
My blood work all came back healthy so no threat of toxemia right now.
Next week I start twice weekly appointments and non stress tests. Basically I will be monitored in the doctor's office for 2 hours a week to make sure that the babies heart rates are strong and that I'm not having contractions.

32 week belly

Here is a video of my big belly at 32 weeks. You can see some pretty big movements in the first half of the video on the left side.

32 weeks and counting down. Nothing too exciting to report from today's doctor's appointment. Both boys have strong heartbeats, my fundal height is 37cm. My doctor is still really confident that I can stay pregnant for at least 4 more weeks or more.
I fell down the stairs again today, so needless to say I hurt all over. I will be glad when the hurt goes away. Since I've been experiencing swelling he ordered some blood work to be done to rule out toxemia. The only symptom that I have is the swelling so I don't think that anyone is very worried about it, but in this pregnancy the doctor's have to be much more proactive instead of reactive.
