RGSChoir's annual concert is here! We'll be presenting a collection of Asian and Western songs, as well as a medley from Les Miserables+choreography and performances from our very own busking groups! There will also be some alumni performances. Please, please come and support us =)

As some of you guys know, Cassia has been chosen for a role in the musical on the RGS arts fest. Even though many details have been unconfirmed, she feels that she might be unable to handle both responsibilities as CEO and also part of the cast. They're both on the same day (arts fest). According to Cassia, she is sorry that she is unable to continue her post.

She has also thought about who is going to take over her position as CEO. The first person that came to her mind is Yu Qing. She has also discussed with Yu Qing about taking over her position. Zheng Fan, would like to stay on her position as deputy CEO and has no wish to take over her position.

Whenever we have extra time, we will hold a vote to see who is going to become ACP CEO.

Although i doubt many visit this blog, I decided to announce these news abt the Raffles pencilcases. (Yup, again. I don't even hv 2 put my name right?)
GOOD NEWS

• Most of the pencilcases are here with me and i can give it out on Mon.
• They will be ordering the pencilcases again and most probably after the hols will have stock again.
• I think RI have sold the pencilcases to RGS (we can buy straight from sch)
  

BAD NEWS

• The pink pencilcases are out of stock. These people, your money will be returned to you on Mon.
• 3 of the original-coloured pencilcases are not available too. There are 5 pencilcases not paid for yet, but only 2 will be "on sale". (First-come, first-serve basis)
  
• Not sure whether they will be ordering the pink pencilcases again.
• RGS will be selling them at $5-6 each (so ex!!!)

Pls don't blame me. If you want to blame someone/something, blame the pencilcases for being so popular.

Havent been posting since... err.. some time ago.
Anyway, cant believe SAs are over! But thats definitely NOT the end of the nightmare.
Actually, when you're taking the exam, it isn't as scary compared to when you're taking back the paper.

And plus, i totally agree with Rebecca. I think she said that Mrs Lee should issue our parents the letter abt how difficult the paper was lor. I mean, do you really think our parents would believe when we say "Erm, mummy. I know i did badly but Mrs lee said that its perfectly normal cause the teachers agreed that the paper was really tough"

I bet they will think its just an excuse u came up with lor. Maybe some of ur parents understand la but my parents are definitely not that understanding lor. Hahas.

And, i cant't believe we got so much homework over the weekends lor. When u say weekend it seems very long right, in reality, x'cuse me, ITS JUST 2 DAYS FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!

1. Math Worksheets & Assignment 2. I'm not going to list all the worksheets out...you should know what to do!

OMG only got 1 homework and a hell lot of reminders. T_T

Reminders :

1. Lab report on Mealworm Experiment is due on Thursday. For those who have yet to get started(like me), I suggest you get started ASAP! Oh yeah, print the lab report thingy. It's on Moodle, so you type everything out, THEN you print it (if I didn't hear wrongly...)

2. History Worksheet on the years and stuff is due on Monday.

3. Prepare a CLE book/journal/whatever if you have not done so.

4. HCL worksheet is due on Monday. I have no idea how to do T_T.

5. Drama Journal entry on 'Why do you think this person (did whatever action) (angrily,sadly etc)'. Ok I actually have no idea what the question is, but I vaguely remember it being something like that. So perhaps someone could inform me what the most accurate question is? :D.

6. English Worksheets on text-types reflections and stuff & worksheet on 'The Test' are due on Monday.

7. House Prac and PSL session tomorrow! Have fun and be enuthusiastic :D (oh and learn Love Story by Taylor Swift ... well that's what Claire said.)

This is just an advice coz i got into troubleby not setting a password.(Don't ask me what trouble.)

Anyway, not giving teachers the access to password, i have a reason.
E.g. (take the following statement as a fact) We all love Miss Hou.

We write negative things about her.
She sees it.
Trouble.

4) Ensure that you won't be late for your CCA.(Gosh, who wants to be late on the first day?!)
5) Take care of yourself. (I'm sure you want to be well and happy during your first session right. If you get sick then you won't be able to enjoy yourself at all!)
6) Check out the details properly. Like...what you're supposed to bring, to wear, to meet etc.

And I can't think of anything else! HEHEHE.

Right, here's the homework that was assigned today/reminders/whatever for the weekend! (UHH, today I'm not very reliable cos I wasn't paying very close attention during lessons so...don't rely completely on me!!)

1. Answer the question for History, 'do you think this means that it is a waste of time to study History? Why do you think so?' And 'this' refers to 'The only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn anything from history.'

When you answer, you have to use PEE. And for the benefit of those who didn't copy this down, PEE is...
P: Open the paragraph by stating the point clearly, bluntly and briefly.
E: Select relevant evidence to support what you are saying (i.e the point you made.)
E: Explain how what you are saying answers the question you have been asked (i.e link your answer to the question)

Mr Ganesh wants us to use this 'PEE' method because he says that if we don't, what we write would be rubbish, and he doesn't wish to read rubbish HAHAHA.

Uh, I think this question is optional but you are highly encouraged to answer it!

2. Complete Worksheet 8&9 (Math) and all Math corrections (WS2-6) + Further Practices. All this is due on Monday.

3. Write about Mealworm Experiment in Biojournal if you haven't done so. Okay, about this, I'm REALLY REALLY not sure because I wasn't really listening. Heh. So someone, please edit this part for me!

1. Decorate drama mask (this is for people who are taking drama this semester, as for Philosophy, I have no idea what the homework is or if there is any at all...heh.) Due on 3rd FEB

2. English Worksheet on Citations, Quotations and Paraphrasings. For this one, you just have to identify the problems for all of them, or indicate if they are error free. There is NO NEED to do the corrections. Due on 3rd FEB

3. Do up a table to compare the 3 Scientists(you should know who I'm talking about...) in your Biology Journal. This is for those who has not completed it yet. Due on 3rd FEB(I THINK)

4. Draw oranges! I don't feel like elaborating and I'm sure you know what I mean by 'drawing oranges'. Oh and don't forget to complete your peanut drawing if you haven't done so. Due on 6th FEB

5. History Worksheet! The one where we had to go to the foyer, amphi etc. I think most of us only have the very last conclusion left, so just finish that part. Due on 6TH FEB

6. Geography Worksheets(Latitude and longitude) & the cylinder thingy. Due on 5TH FEB

7. Read Literature handout. ("Please Accept My Apologies")
