California Adventure

On our third day, we spent the WHOLE day in California Adventure, something we have never done before. We usually hit the major rides and that's about it. Since we had time to kill and it was only us, we decided to take it slow and try new things.
There was some construction since they are revamping quite a few things...
Question 3: What is this?

We had some time to kill before World of Color, so we decided to play some games along the boardwalk. We put $30 on a game card for the whole family and Hunter and Summer won the Dumbo's pictured above, Hunter also won a big Mickey Mouse, KC won a big Bullseye for Taters and we won a small bullseye also. For $30, I don't think you could buy that much merchandise at the Disney Store, PLUS we had fun playing all the games for an hour or so. This is definitely something I would do again.

Hunter and Summer at Toy Story Mania... this was the longest line we waited in the entire trip, which was 30 minutes.

Tate LOVED the Cars display!

World of Color: This is an AWESOME show. It is seriously amazing. The only thing I did not like about it, is that it is like going to the "Department of the Redundancy Department." You HAVE to get a fast pass in the morning to see the show. So by doing so, you would think that you don't have to get there early since you have a ticket/fast pass no less. WRONG-O! You have to get there an hour early if not more to get a decent seat. We got there an hour early and our seats were good (we were along the railing), but they could have been WAY better. Then, my 2 year old and newborn baby were asleep in the stroller, so I had that along the railing too. Those count as their seats, right? Apparently not to other people because I had some random people (not cast members) freaking out on me that I should move my stroller so they could have a better view. What am I supposed to do? Park my stroller somewhere else and hope that my two sleeping kids don't get kidnapped? Really?
Sometimes people bug me.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Disney Day for Me!

Day two of our trip was our early entry day, so we started the day off in Fantasyland... We thought our two year old was going to LOVE this since he would be able to go on all of the rides. We were way wrong! He thought they were all scary and threatened to go home if we made him do anymore! What a little booger. As I was looking around, I saw some new additions to Fantasyland and maybe some things I had never noticed before. I was thinking that it has been a while since we've posted a give away, so at the end of my trip journal I will post the prize and you can send in your answers... so pay attention!!!! Hehe!

Here's Question 1: What is this attraction?

Question 2:What is this attraction?

Who are these cute kids with the Red Queen? Just kidding that's not really a question for the give away. I just wanted to give props to one of our BFF's, so her picture is on here!

Everything was in bloom and so beautiful!

The much anticipated meeting with Mickey! I thought my two year old would be scared of the characters and their ginormous heads and love the rides... It was the complete opposite!

Disney! Day One

We drove to Disneyland on a Saturday, but we didn't go to the park. So we decided to take the kids to Goofy's Kitchen to get some autographs and get them excited for the morning. I will say this... Goofy's Kitchen is much better at dinner time than breakfast. They had a carving station with chicken and prime rib, pizza, spaghetti, salads, mashed potatoes, french fries, chicken nuggets, fruit, desserts and much more! There was definitely something there for everyone and all of my kiddos were happy!

This is little Sawyer with Minnie Mouse!

Here are my two older boys with Pluto. Pluto wanted Hunter to give him a BIG kiss!

Princess Summer with Sleeping Beauty

We had a great time, the food was good and the experience was priceless! Tate, our two year old, loved seeing the characters in person and was just so fun to watch. Definitely worth the money!
Tip: They do sell autograph books and pens when you check in to the restaurant, which is great if you forgot to bring your stuff! The selection is not that great, but there is a gift shop around the corner that sells more of a variety.
Also, this one is a given, but MAKE RESERVATIONS! I am creepy and love to people watch, I can't tell you how many people I saw go to the check in counter without a reservation and be told that the soonest they could get in would be in 2 hours! When you have hungry kids and they have their heart set on seeing their favorite characters and then you have to wait that long? That is a recipe for disaster... Make the reservation!
