Focus on God

There's so many terrible things happening in the last few weeks. Uncle Chee and Aunty Carol both down with Dengue, Aunty Luz sick, Popo not feeling well either. Then Uncle Paul passed away, and now my baby is down with Dengue too. And in the midst of all these, I still have to study for exams and write my individual 60% assignment. It's too much for me to take, and I wish I can really leave everything in God's hands, REALLY submit everything to Him. I need prayers....

End of Presentations~

After reading up on some of my friends' blogs recently, I find that I am not a very reflective person. Compared to theirs, my blog is more of an updating thing rather than a reflection. This is so ironic, considering I used to do weekly reflections when I was still doing contract teaching. Anyway, that's one of my focus now..hehe..starting from next entry! :P

On a side note, I've finally finished all my presentations! So happy! After wearing formal for the last three days, I'm giving myself a break by wearing ultra slack today haha. And I can go kpo around other people's presentation preparation lol..of course I helped them a bit also la hee!

And I also treated myself to a simple sushi workshop with Kim hehe. Will post the pics up. I wanted to learn how to make the rice, but instead, the rice they gave us were already prepared duh -.-" But anyway, it was fun! :) I also gave myself a break by NOT checking my emails for 2 entire days (like..wow haha). So some people had to wait anxiously for my reply lol, but don't care.

I'm going to go sleep now, and tomorrow onwards shall start mugging for my individual assignments, exams and final tests. Asking for prayer request please, thank you. :)

Cycling @ East Coast Park

Ok this is a promised entry amongst all of us (those who went cycling at East Coast Park today). We were finishing up our 2-hour cycle when something extremely terrible happened! Kim and I were cycling behind this small boy who's about 6. The kid suddenly did a U-turn onto the opposite lane. A Caucasian guy was directly coming up and he had no time to swerve or react at all. He jammed his brake immediately and flew out of his bicycle. He did a somersault in the air and landed hard on his back. Everyone just froze out of shock.

He started shouting and groaning whilst lying on the ground. Both of us and a few other passers-by went to help him. He was scolding Kim and I coz he thought that kid's with us. Some of the passers-by had to tell him that we're not with him. By this time, the kid's nowhere to be seen. Anyway, the guy complained abit and thanked us for helping him, then left.

I felt sorry and worried for him, because he fell really hard. And he knew that he had no other options - he could either hit the kid or this. This is the first time I've seen someone fall to such an extent. So scary >.< Hope the man didn't suffer anything serious..

Online Shopping Spree

I saw this new spree website from my friend's MSN nick and went to see. OMG they have a lot of clothes! But it's a Taiwan website and everything's in Chinese. It turned me off totally already. LOL. Anyway I'm trying to control my online shopping addiction. :)
