My youngest son's beloved Rusty!

Remembering my sweet little Allie, went blind at about age 6 but lived a wonderful life with us for 16 incredible years.

Best second grade teacher ever gave each of her students their own fish, equipment and lengthy instructions to care for them.

Back in the day when folks were crazy about blogging, there were lots of

groups I posted to, like Saturday Centus, which this post featured an adorable squirrel! 

My special favorite because Tess with her phenomenal blog "The Mag" pushed us to share our thoughts with you in our own unique words and sometimes images. Here's one of mine.

and so many of us here right now today remember our Good Fences posts! 

It made ordinary fences that crossed our paths become quaint little stories to share.

I truly miss this and our Good Fences creator, texwisgirl.

Gosh another awesome Thematic Photographic was like my weekly indulgence, Of course so many folks drifted from posting and our dear favorite friend Carmi sadly gave up.

Piloting

One of my greatest joys in life is piloting!

Piloting my life by my own design.

Cinderella 

My daughter could only spend a little over a week with us
while Lyra gets to spend the entire month with visits to see two other grandmas. 
It's wonderful to be blessed with family.

Bringing It Together

Always do your part. 
You just never know when your compassion and empathy
is extremely vital.
On the ending of a wonderful family day and incredible 70 something degree sunny day we walked to a nearby park where I encountered a blown-out-of-proportion situation.  Apparently 3 twenty-something individuals felt the need to call law enforcement to remove this extremely dangerous dog from the park.
The officer seemed to agree, but if you know me at all I immediately came to this poor pups aid and clearly his loving nature prevailed. Yes! First I know that owners must be responsible, I don't care how old your beloved pet is and that he knows his way home, and loves visiting folks at the park, go there with him. We brought ours on a leash. Our world has far too many, so they believe to be well-doers doing their job- they totally lack knowledge, understanding-empathy. 

So just how scary is this cute, (on actual sight he walks very slowly) ?
