CONFERENCE CENTER SPECTACULAR!!!

We are so blessed to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!! Our church does some of the most awesome things and always does them "First Class" as my Dad says. Each December they put on an amazing performance which includes the Tabernacle Choir, Dancers, Bell Ringers and some famous singers or actors (each year its different). The tickets are free you just have to be lucky and be picked from the pot of over 1 million people that put in for tickets. We were lucky this year and got tickets!! This is my most favorite Christmas Show its amazing how you are just feeled with the spirit!! This year we took Whitney and Weston and they loved it too!! I love the Christmas Season and the opportunity we have to reflect on how blessed we are!!

Dinner at the ROOF!!

Mom and Dad Willardson always do something fun for our Christmas gift each year instead of buying stuff that you forget about! It has become a tradition for them to take all the adults to the ROOF at the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building!! The food is delicious and the view is incredible!! We had so much fun!! Thanks Mom and Dad we had a night we won't forget!!

Santa Clause Came to Town!!

We did our gift exchange and had the Willardson family party on Sunday. Tami and David are leaving to the East Coast over the Holidays so we did it a little early this year. We renacted the Nativity as we do every year (this year Gary and I were Mary and Joseph). Then the kids exchanged gifts and the adults exchanged gifts of Service they are going to perform for each other. Then the best part of all for the kids was that Santa came and gave them each a gift!! Love the holidays and spending time with the Family!! Again thanks Mom and Dad Willardson you always put so much energy into everything and make it so memorable and fun!!

November 2008 Grandkids Day

Mom and Dad Willardson are incredible. They do Grandkids day once a month for all the grandkids. This months activity was to go to the temple then to Olive Garden. Mom and Dad Willardson took the kids to the South Jordan Temple then we all ate at Olive Garden then they took the Grandkids on Tracks to downtown Salt Lake to see the Salt Lake Temple. Now you know why my kids love them so much and so do we!! Thanks Mom and Dad Willardson you are the BEST!!

Saturday started early at our house! The kids where up and dressed in their costumes by 7:30AM. They were so excited to finally be able to wear them and go to the Zoo. My Mother-in-law makes life fun and exciting (She has more energy then I do by far!!). She had invited us to join her and all the Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. We were able to ride the train and then the kids trick-or-treated around the Zoo.

FHE - Pumpkin Style

Last Monday for FHE we carved Pumpkins! The kids got so excited! Gary took them up to the store to each pick out there pumpkin. Then we turned on the Halloween Music and started carving!! Its little nights like this that makes life so fun!! I feel so blessed to have Healthy Happy kids. I love seeing the simple things in life can get them so excited!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

This past weekend we headed down to St. George to take our parents both to see BIG RIVER at Tuachaun and then to see Trina run the St. George Marathon. I was just lucky that my Birthday fell between all of this. We drove to St. George Friday morning and let the kids swim. Then we met my cute friend Kelly and her kids to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Then my cute friend MaryLynn was kind enough to drive a babysitter to my house so all us adults could go to dinner and then to BIG RIVER. The play was long but the stage was awesome!! The next day MY BIRTHDAY!! I woke up to my kids, Gary's parents, sister Kristie, sister Tami and husband Mike and kids Jacob, Hannah and Matthew singing me Happy Birthday and breakfast made for me!! Then we headed to the Marathon where my incredible sister ran 26.2 miles (I call that pure torture!!) but she did it and I was so proud of her I started to tear up!! Then that afternoon I met my friend MaryLynn and we hit the mall and did our damage!! We had so much fun!! Then that night the girls went to dinner!! My Mom, Trina, my friend Kelly and I went to Players a new restaurant in St. George. Luckily the company was good because the food and service wasn't. But it made for an eventful night. This day was perfect!! Being with my family and friends!!!

FAMILY TRIP TO CALIFORNIA!!!

We finally returned home after a two week vacation with the family! We go to Newport California every year and this year we invited Gary's parents and his sister Tami and husband Mike and their kids which was really fun. It started out on Saturday where we headed to Provo and watch BYU WOMP UNLV which was the perfect way to start a trip! Then we jumped in our cars and drove to St. George. We stayed the night then headed to Newport to our timeshare. The next morning we drove to Sea World which was fun and exhausting as we ran from one show to the next. Then that night we ate at Nati's, which is a must eat since Gary's family has been going there since his Dad was young. Then Tuesday, we stayed around our resort where the kids swam, played basketball, tennis and played in the sandbox. Then Gary's parents were so thoughtful and watched the kids so Gary, I, Mike and Tami could go to dinner at our favorite place The Cheesecake Factory. Wednesday was the day the kids had all been waiting for. We headed to DISNEYLAND!! We stayed from open to close and loved it!! Once they kicked us out we went to Downtown Disney and ate at the RAINFOREST CAFE. The kids literatly could hardly keep their eyes open but it was fun. Thursday was beach day. We went to Balboa Island and Huntington Beach. The kids had fun splashing in the waves and playing in the sand. Then we all headed to Cheesecake Factory again! You got to love it when you can walk right in and get a table for 12!! Friday was DISNEYLAND again and again stayed until it closed!! On Friday they had an awesome fireworks show with Tinkerbell flying over the castle the girls loved that!! Saturday, Gary's parents and Mike and Tami and kids left and our family headed over to our friends Bill and Cori Blodgett. The Blodgetts just moved to Calilfornia a month ago so it was fun to see their pretty home and the kids had fun playing in their pool. While the guys watched BYU again WOMP Wyoming!!! (GO COUGS!!). Then Sunday came and we headed back to St. George. We love St. George and since we have a little place there Gary stayed with us until Tuesday then flew home. Me and the kids stayed until Saturday. It is so relaxing and fun down there! We feel so blessed to have family so close that we can share these fun memories with! Thanks Mom and Dad and Tami and Mike for making this trip so fun and being with us even though you had to sleep on the horrible hide-a-bed!! We LOVE YOU GUYS!!

YES, OUR HOUSE IS FOR SALE!!!

Yes our house is for sale! We know this is a crazy market to try to sell a house! We love where we live and have an awesome ward and would hate to move but feel like there is a reason we feel this need!! So if our house happens to sell the plan is to head to Highland where both my sisters live and we could be in a cul-de-sac! The good part is that I am not leaving my cute Bunco group!! Girls you hopefully will be willing to travel all the way to Highland when its my turn!!

1st Day of School!

My kids had their first day of school today. I know you are saying its July how in the heck are they starting school today. We have year round school which is a little crazy sometimes but its nice that they get breaks all year long. They were excited to meet their new teachers. Whitney is in 3rd Grade and has Mrs. Adams and Weston is in 2nd Grade and has Mr. Munro.

Lake Powell

We just returned from Lake Powell with my sister Trina and her family. This was an adventure!! We decided to do the same thing that we did last year and just camp on the beach. Last year we had a lot of fun but this year was a lot more work for some reason. We are members of Toyshare and were able to take a boat and two jetskis down with us. The jetski's were alot of fun but the boat was a huge disapointment!!
Once we got our camp put together we decided to go sight seeing. When we returned to our camp we found these huge black birds had distroyed our camp and eaten almost all of our food that wasn't in coolers. They even managed to put a hole through one of our rubbermade containers. We had sand everywhere because of the wind and then it was hot! Needless to say with as much work as it was we did have fun and the kids are already talking about going again!! Now we all just need another vacation to recover from this vacation!!!

Tennis Lessons

Gary is much more on the ball then I am. He loves getting the kids involved in everything. I love it too but not when he puts them in lessons that are at 8 am in the summer. I am not a morning person as many of you know so I wasn't to happy about the time. As much as I hate to admit it, it was worth it because the kids loved their lessons!! Their teacher Jason Kelly was awesome! They can't wait for the next session to begin in August.

DOWNTOWN AT GATEWAY

My cute Sister-in-law Tami and I with our kids headed down to Gateway this afternoon. We had lunch at the food court then headed over to Discover Gateway. The kids love it there and spent hours just playing house with all their toys. Once we were able to gather them all up we headed over to the fountains at Gateway. The kids had a blast playing in the water. It was so hot I was tempted to dive in as well but didn't.
