Trev's good buddy from back in the day when he was a police officer died.  He committed suicide but because of COVID they could not have a funeral until a year later.  

Trev loved being able to see some old friends and catch up.

Twins 9th Bday

My babies are 9 years old.  I love being the mommy of twins.  I love to see the bond and connection they have.  They will defend and protect each other which I am grateful for in this crazy world.  

Hence the love/wrestling at everything.

That Afternoon they had a bday party.  All KK's friends came to help set up.

Once their friends came they played capture the flag and played in the spa.

They made off like champs with so much money...needless to say they were happy.

 

Taco Challenge

The twins missed out on a primary activity where they were doing a taco challenge to see who could eat the most tacos.  They were so sad so I told them we could do one of our own. We went swimming at Trista's with my niece Ashley to work up an appetite and then we stopped at Taco Bell on the way home.

Girls Trip and First Date

My friend Michelle son's prom date backed out the last minute so KK said she would be his date.  Lucky for us they live in Texas so we had to make a weekend trip and use it as an excuse to have a girls weekend/bday celebration.

We stayed in a hotel the first night.  We made a snack run and she made me do some tik toks.  

The next day we went shopping for some shoes and she got her nails done.

Then we met up with my friend and her family and we ate some delicious BBQ, 

KK got a spray tan

The night of the dance KK looked beautiful and off she went for her first official date since turning 16.

Gavin and KK have known each other since they were babies but haven't seen each other in years.

While they were at the dance we decorated for the after party at Michelles house.  

It was such a fun weekend and definitely a memorable girls weekend/first date.
