Mom bday dinner

My mom turned 64 so we got together for dinner to celebrate.  We went to Cheesecake Factory since she had never been there.  It was so nice to be there with no hubbies or kids so we could actually talk and hang out.  I am so grateful for my family and I am so blessed to have so many sisters.

Corbin worked really hard on making good choices and listening for 1 week so he could earn his skylander.  He had been having a hard time but after a few weeks he was able to earn it.

They wanted to swing in the same swing.  It will probably be the last time since they are so big but they laughed and had so much fun.

Grandpa to Dinner

We hadn't seen Grandpa Slack in a while so we invited him to dinner one night at In-n-Out.  My kids love seeing him and love to sit and listen to all his crazy stories about him growing up.  It is quite something for them to all be entertained and so interested in his life....he is a great storyteller.  We love our Grandpa

Saints and Sinners Half Marathon

I ran the Saints and Sinners half marathon.  I was so not prepared for this race.  I wasn't really committed and then 2 weeks before I hurt my foot so then I was even more behind.  I ran it with 2 of my friends Christina and Tiffeny.  I didn't do the best.... 2 hours 19 mins....but for as much as I trained I was happy with it.    

Daddy Daughter Dance

KK looks forward to the Daddy Daughter Dance each year and who knows how many more years she will even want to go.  She does have a pretty cool daddy so maybe she will forever.

They crashed the dance for like 5 mins before they left to get some mexican dinner.  They finished off the night at home watching Goosebumps together.

Blue and Gold Banquet

Aidan's first blue and gold banquet for Cub Scouts.  I am still getting used to all the Scouts stuff but Aidan loves it and has almost finished his wolf.

Our entertainment for the night was a skit put on by all the boys. It was Star Wars themed so heres daddy and Jade showing off their costumes Aidan brought.

Valentins Days...belated

Trev and I don't really ever celebrate Valentines Day.  Its so close to our bdays that we usually just go out one night and include all 3 into one.  Well this year I convinced Trev that I was mad that he forgot  it and didn't do anything special so the next day I wake up to this with a beautiful love note.  I kind of felt bad that I let him believe I cared when I really didn't because he makes me feel special and cared for everyday so I really don't need just one day but its nice to know if something matters to me it matters to him.  I got me a good one and so grateful he's mine.

Sledding

It is kind of pathetic but we took the kids sledding for the first time.  With Trev being in school and with me always being pregnant it is just something we have never done.

We took the kids up to Mount Charleston with our friends Hollie and Nelson and their family.  We had so much fun but we only lasted about 2 hours before the cold and tiredness kicked it.
