Joshua's Baby Blessing

On Sunday Oct 10th (10-10-2010) Joshua Allen Sioeli Tuutau was blessed by his amazing father. It was so much fun to have my family and Daniel's family there. One thing that was really funny that I always want to remember about that day was right before the blessing happened the bishopric member was inviting everyone involved in the blessing to come forward and just then John was squirming on my lap (as usual) and knocked Joshua right in the head with his own head. Joshua started crying and fussing all the way up there. He stopped crying after a minute and was fine when they started but the poor kid must have had a headache. Even John was rubbing his head!

We put him in the same blessing outfit we used for John and I thought it turned out cute. They look so different from each other but I can still pick out some brotherly similarities. Observe...

I couldn't believe John fell asleep for the entire picture process! Oh well at least he wasn't screaming the whole time like this...My poor little niece Cali was teething and definitely did not want her picture taken.

This actually turned out to be one of my favorite family pictures of us so far.

Happy Happy Happy!

Three pretty cool "Happy" things happened this week...

#1-On Wed Daniel and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversary.
(This is a picture of us while we were on our honeymoon in Hawaii...when I was skinny!)

#2-On Friday Joshua turned 2 months.

HAPPY 2 MONTHS OLD!
Joshua has started to smile more and more. I love hearing his little goo's and attempts at making noise. At his 2 month check up he weighed in at 14 lbs 3 oz and was very healthy. His eyes are blue as of right now but are still gray in some lights and they sometimes look green. He's starting to sleep so much better at night and insists on being held all day. He's such a fantastic kid and I love him so much. Here is a picture of his chunky face-smile...
But most of the time he looks like this...
#3-Today my adorable sweet Johnny turned 2.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
John did NOT want me to take his picture today. Every time I tried he would hide under a blanket or pillow or he would just run away form me. I finally managed to get one and right as I clicked he tried grabbing the flash and knocked the camera. This is what the picture turned out like. It's a little trippy but I like it!!

At his two year appointment the other day he weighed in at 26 lbs. He's still working on getting the rest of his teeth which makes me wonder sometimes if his fits and being grumpy are because of teething or terrible 2's?! His favorite word is "No" and he always puts a high pitched whine to it when he says it. He's such a smart kid and seriously amazes me sometimes with things I'll catch him doing. He's learning so much and I'm so proud of him.

He loves to walk around the house wearing different pairs of shoes.

He loves to eat! This kid isn't that picky when it comes to food.
*knock on wood*!
He just figured out how to do somersaults on his bed (but I don't have a picture of it yet!) He also loves to watch Winnie the Pooh and laughs his head off when Tigger does anything. He loves playing with his bath toys as he showers and absolutely adores his bubble machine.

He loves helping me in the kitchen mainly doing the dishes.

And his all-time favorite thing to do right now is kiss and maul and hug his little brother to death!! They are just too cute together.
So Happy Anniversary, Happy 2 months old, and Happy 2 yrs Old.
It's been a great year and we're looking forward to an even better one...
