Truth

Friendship is a very complicated thing. IMHO, making friends is difficult especially when you're an introvert. I'm definitely an introvert but if you been around me for before, you will find that I doesn't suit as an introvert at all. If you learn psychology before, this might be the mask I'm wearing when socializing. I find it very hard to know new people and when I do, it's hard to maintain a good friendship or be a better and closer friend. If you were in my shoes, you definitely know this feeling. Along this journey called life, I've known many people - some are true great friends, and some might just be a bad apple. I'm writing this now to say:

I'M SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A LOUSY FRIEND!

Sorry for not keeping in touch as I really don't know how to maintain a great friendship. I don't know what to talk with you anymore & how to talk to you. I'm so bad at talking with other people. So please bear with my insufficiency. Not that I no longer want to be your friend, but I don't know how to be your friend. I'm not trying to abuse the "sorry" word but I am now apologizing from the depths of my heart. Sorry..

Signature Scent

It's been a very long time since the last update in this blog. It's sad that this blog has been abandoned for such a long time. It seems that I've lost the enthusiasm to blog. It's not about time perhaps age. Enough of blabbering - I'm here to update and yes to express my perspective towards certain things that came to my mind.

Fragrances. Do you use it? Why yes or no? Perfume? Cologne? Does it matter so much? Well, in my opinion it does matter. Some probably that it smell so fake,  not natural and what not. Well I got to disagree with this. I rather smell something which is pleasing than those of filth pungent odor kind of smell. However, it all depends on the perspective of people. Everyone have different thoughts so it is hard to come into a conclusion.

So far, I bought only two different fragrances in my life. The first was Sean John's Unforgivable. This perfume smells extremely masculine (of woodiness). After 2 years of having this fragrance, I realize that it is definitely not my scent. It took me almost 4 years to finish up the whole bottle. This is when I realize that fragrances can reflect your personality. If you really like the scent of the fragrance, you will want to put it on everyday.

Hence goes my second purchase Davidoff's Silver Shadow Altitude. This cologne smells really me ME! xD Initially, I don't want to tell anyone what fragrance I was using but since some found out and got themselves one, it's no point of hiding it. Anyway, I left less than half a bottle and I know what to get next so I don't mind actually. I'm the kind of person which seeks for distinction when it comes to things like this. In marketing terms, I'm categorized in the need for uniqueness group. This cologne has given me a signature smell. Whenever my friends smell it, it reminds them of me or in other words, it smell of ME!

Well, aside from giving you a signature scent, fragrances can do lots of wonders. For example, it can enhance making out sessions (only applicable to certain type of people and depending on the fragrance used). Think about it, perhaps you can easily be turned down my unpleasant smell like sweat or body odor? If you smell nice, the more your partner would want you?

Other than that, fragrances can attract people. If you smell nice, people wouldn't mind to stand with you longer. Imagine that you as a guy which is all sweaty and you want to tackle a girl. Will she stay and talk to you or she will walk away? Be my guest, most girls will walk away as they wouldn't want to experience such unpleasant smell. However, there is a small percentage that girls would be attracted to such rawness of a man. Hence, it is important nowadays to enhance your physical appearances.

Nevertheless, it is also said that fragrances can enhance the wearer's confidence. Without any unpleasant sweat or body odor smell, one can be more confident. Fragrances also resembles class. Well, I can say that fragrances don't come cheap especially the nice smelling ones. I don't know how but some people can just tell the smell of your fragrance is cheap or expensive. I think it's a little quite true. Just by smelling those fragrances that you can get from the counter of the convenient store you can tell that it doesn't smell expensive/exquisite. A good example would be my own sister which I bought her a gift pack from L'Occitane which includes of a small fragrance bottle. She told me that it smells "expensive". Therefore, I can say that fragrances can also represent class.

Well I don't know why I'm throwing all out my thoughts about fragrances but yeah. It's good to have fragrances in life. It makes you more pleasant (but I personally don't like super concentrated perfume smell as it gives me a heck of headache - applying too much of fragrances is another different thing!) Let's see what I will babble in the next post :P 'till then~

Lost?..

There must be one certain day that you will feel as if you're lost.. especially in a crossroad.. When it comes to me, I will drive with no sense of direction..

 Driving clears off my head sometimes..

Apart from that, I can learn new roads.. 

 Explore new places..

..and apparently, you will find your way back in the end of the road..

Just think positive and you will find your way back no matter what happened.. Never give up hope and especially your life! :)

Tainted..

Once tainted, it remains tainted.. You can't change a thing.. Unpleasantly dirty.. You can wash the dirt out of a car but you can't wash a scratch out of it..

The car looks clean from this picture but it's actually freaking dirty! Its too dirty until I need to send it for a car wash again.. I was pleased with their service so I went back there again.. SS14 Mobil Station car wash that it..

Thoughts..

I've been thinking a hell lot lately.. What would our future be? Even though its not my final semester yet, I've been thinking of what would I do the next time. Will I stuck in an office all day long doing boring work that I do not enjoy? Or will I stuck doing outdoor job that require me to do sales which I really hated it? There is no such thing as a perfect job for first timer so I'm very worried. Then I came to think life a teenager or a student. Many teenagers complaint that their life are miserable. Well, they don't know about responsibilities yet. As we grow up, we will realize that we will have more responsibilities in our hands. Hence, I just realized how stupid I was. Taking everything for granted. I'm now already missing the moments that I shared with my friends in the university. I missed those moment. The good news for now is that I'm still a student and have another another semester. I will definitely cherish all the time that I have left. =)

Me Want Soba..

I needed good Japanese soba noodle.. Friend wanted to try Rakuzen.. Hence, arrived in Rakuzen.. see the prices and I immediately choose their unagi instead of soba.. and you what? It was superb! Their unagi was the best I've ever tasted!! However..

I find it weird to drink with this clay cup.. very odd.. very clay-feeling >.< unique in a way.. Meh.. still craving for soba.. went to Sakae another day.. order their cha soba and.. it SUCKS! I will never go Sakae for soba anymore.. just for their other stuff like their rice box thing xD Anyway... SOBA!!!!

Misery..

At times when I needed her the most, she failed me.. died leaving me in agony.. in solemnity.. It was the day, the only day that I have time to study my for my worst nightmare, International Financial Management, and she let me down down down down down.. down...........

HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!

I think I developed a phobia towards IFM. I failed once and the fear keeps creeping in.  To begin with.. I'm not good with numbers!! The night before the exam, I was trembling, shaken by the deadly aura of IFM! God! Please let me pass this paper! I made a vow to be a vegetarian for a month if I pass this subject!! I really hope I do..

Thank goodness I had the Mini.. No, not the Mini Cornetto but HP Mini. I'm so glad that I had it as a spare.. It really saved my sorry ass.. I hate and love you at the same time =X

I'm having a very tough luck.. Once I've decided to purchase a phone that I've long awaited for, it has to go out of stock for the color that I wanted.. I tried different places but it just have to be out of stock.. It's fate.. It is testing my patience and testing my faith over this particular phone.. Nevertheless, I will embrace myself and make it through the rain! xD

Monash Ball 2010 at One World Hotel

It was 17 September 2010. The theme for this year's Monash Ball is Première. It was supposedly be very grand and of high-class but it was kinda a let down for the theme. The story..

These are the 3 people I picked up to go to One World Hotel which is located next to One Utama. We were too hungry until we got ourselves McDonalds before we leave Subang xD Everyone was staring at them (probably at their outfit) when they entered McDonalds LOL!

Here we are.. outside the ballroom. Seriously we thought that we are late but actually we are not.. They said they going to close the door at 7.30PM but they didn't.. We arrived there around 7.45ishPM cause of the slow moving traffic along the LDP.. Seriously, I don't know what the organizing committee was thinking.. Why the hell they picked this hotel? It is so inaccessible from Sunway and the jam is mad crazy on peak hours to go there from Sunway..

After registering ourselves, we will get stamped on the hand.. I hated this cause it took sometime to wear off..

Inside the ballroom.. the light keep glowing and changing and it was so hard for me to take pictures =_="

Itinerary of the event.. Since they started quite late, I think they rushed everything until it wasn't so pleasant for me ;\

Appetizer: Caesar Salad AKA the best of all THREE dishes for the night

Main Course: Roasted Stuffed Chicken Breast with Pistachio, Garlic Mashed Potato and Seasonal Garden Vegetable served with Fresh Herb Sauce AKA PATHETIC HARD-AND-DRY-CHICKEN!!

Dessert: Strawberry Mousse AKA WE WANT MORE FOOD! I felt VERY disappointed over what is served that night. What the crap?! Pay RM80 to eat THREE not-so-gourmet and not-so-filling FOOD?! Last year's one in Sunway resort serve more than this!!

Yes! He is the Disney channel dude, Jien. Look at those lucky girls who got to take a picture with him. Luckily I didn't take a picture with him cause I bet many other girls hated them already LOL! Jien was a funny and sarcastic emcee xD

These people are the company I had for the night. Thanks to them I don't think the event was that disappointing =X

The dance floor is open with super horrid loud music.. I thought this will be high-class event as the name Première suggest so but I don't understand why would they make it all into a concert-like thing -.-" Play sentimental music so people can dance waltz or etc!!The organizing committee just destroyed the grandeur of the theme.. EPIC FAIL IMHO!! (even though they played some sentimental music, the dance floor wasn't open or not that I know of when it opened)

The event ended quite late.. 11PM+ almost 12PM and many people was rushing for afterparty.. Many went to Zouk in KL (I seriously don't know what they going to do with less than 2 hours in Zouk [taking into account the time they travel there]).. Hence, my group went to the nearest - The Sanctuary at The Curve!

 

Look who was there!! A lecturer with a "Dr" title.. =P You probably can't see his face cause its blurred and I won't mention names here xD

Music Deep Within

Have you ever encounter the feeling when you listen to a song, and it reminds you of a specific moment in your life? It occurs to me most of the time..

This song reminds me of my childhood when I was still living with my godmother.. Sometimes, listening to this song will bring me back to the past, a picture will appear in my head, and rarely, a sensation of being there..

This one.. reminds me when I was in lower secondary school.. Almost every single time I was in the car heading to the tuition center, this song will always play in the radio..

& this.. reminds me when I first enter Taylor's College.. first time leaving my home and living by my own..

This song reminds me when I almost finish studying in Taylor's.. sitting there on my table playing online games.. xD

This reminds me when I was in the condo when I was in my first year in Monash..

This one reminds me when I was travelling around in Penang..

This one still fresh in my mind.. it reminds me when I was doing intern in a company in Midvalley..

There are still many songs and I just can't describe it all.. Why is this happening? Why the past in embedded in music? Why why why.. I'm curious yet confused..

Missing!?!

Out of the blues..

I miss going on to office on weekends to work..

I miss one of the craziest person I ever met during work..

I miss the hilarious colleagues at work..

I miss waiting in long queues for food during the one hour break at work..

I miss driving on the slow moving traffic at night after work..

..and last but not least, I miss drinking ARABIC MINT TEA & the lepak-ing sessions until 4-5AM after work!!

Current State

Lately, I'm so freaking busy until I got no time to do my own personal stuff (that includes blogging). Today, I finally find some time to chillax (that is after a very long long time.. two months I could say. Yet, the nightmare isn't over yet. Since I'm so freaking busy, I got no time to wash my car and it is getting dirtier and dirtier until after a month without bathing it, I finally decided to send it for a car wash.

Everytime I passed through the roundabout in the evening, there are lots of cars washing in this ESSO station in SS14. I decided to send my car there thinking that they really do it clean and fast...

As I go there, I drove into this shelter and the people start spraying water and cleaning the outer part of my car. I was listening to the radio while enjoying my aircond while they're at it. Somehow, when they are washing the car, I feel so calm.. so.. therapeutic..... xD

After that, I drove to the corner and they start drying, vacuuming inside the car and such. Haha.. gotta use Paint to edit the car plate number cause my laptop died right after I came back from 30 hours famine ;( Before I forget, it cost me RM8 to wash there (hmm.. I shouldn't go too often eventhough it is therapeutic =X)

As I mentioned just now, my laptop died. Apparently after sitting there for 1 freaking day, it died. Looks like it can't live without me >.<" Hence, all the assignments and stuff pouring in and I need to use a laptop. So, my housemate offered me his netbook while I try to resurrect my lappie. Look at that lucky netbook! So pimped thanks to my late lappie's gears xD

Well I hate netbooks after getting the chance to use one. The keypad is so different and it is so slow. I think if I load Photoshop, it will crash or take like forever to load. Well, that's all my updates for now. Till then!

Sinful Kindori

Question: What can be more sinful than having a healthy Kindori ice cream?

The taste of the succulent mango flavor will explode your taste buds leaving nothing behind but a total euphoric sensation in your mouth! But what can be more sinful than having the ice cream itself is placing the leftover sin to another innocent bystander vehicle..

Leaving a sin (disposing rubbish there) and creating another sin (the owner of the car might have the urge/curiosity to try the ice cream) =P

My HOT Wife

Time for an update! =D Check out my freaking HOT wife's temperature below:

According to SpeedFan, both my graphic card and processor are above 80 degree Celsius!! OMGWTFBBQ!! Can almost fry an egg on it!! PLUS! This is with my Zalman cooler which reduces the heat by at least 10 degree Celsius (according to my past experience).. This indicates that the lifespan of it is shortened by a huge amount...

IF (a big IF & *touchwood*), it decided to leave me alone, life goes on! I need to find a new mate :P & IF it decided to leave me in this few months time, I have a candidate on my mind =X

Tadaa! Dell Alienware M11x! It's almost time for Dell to upgrade this laptop to Intel's new Core i3/i5/i7 super low voltage processors =D Meaning less power hunger, more battery life & not so HOT (cool to be precise ;P) Moreover, it's supposedly weight less than 2kg (which is what I'm looking for) so it makes it super portable gaming rig! =D

What's more? The keyboard has pretty lights!! =X OMG! OMG! OMG! This is so cool!! (goes nerd mode) Hahaha.. Anyway, the downside is the 11 inch screen which will be too small for me (but I will most probably get a monitor for this).. Meh.. I really hope my wife doesn't leave me alone just like that.. I still love my wife.. my sexy, HOT wife.. -_-" 

Haiz.. still feel bad hogging my dad's N82.. Forget about Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.. I'm now into the upcoming Nokia N8.. Symbian^3, 12MP camera, HD video recording, etc = LUST! Okay.. I better stop imagining stuff and head back to reality LOL!! Till then!
