When you fail, fail forward

As I was randomly flapping through leadership promises for every day, I came across this devotion that speaks right to my heart; how my heart was feeling and my perspective towards certain things. I believe nobody likes to fail right and so do I. Often many times we see failure as sometimes bad,disgraceful, lousy, etc. But have we look at the other side of it? XD Well, let me share with you some positive side of it, which they called it "Rules for Being Human":

Rule #1: You will learn lessons.
Rule #2: There are no mistakes--only lessons
Rule #3: A lesson is repeated until it is learned. (That's so true isnt it? :D)
Rule #4: If you don't learn the easy lessons, they get harder.
Rule #5: You'll know you've learned a lesson when your action change.

Don't give up trying.

The choice to be made

Everything in our everyday lives involves decision making.
Some made good ones that lead them well.
Some made bad ones that lead them to destruction.

What is your decision today?
Which would you choose?
Even keeping silent is already making a choice.

Sometimes we neglect analyzing further before stepping in.
And before we know it,
We’re on the road to destruction.
To make things worst,
We might even want to just flow with it.
A hope for a future is gone.

But what did God say?
I am Your Hope and deliverer.
I can turn things around.
I can make your path straight again.
I am the Lord of the possible.
Learn from it and move on.
Do you believe in me?

Many times we know it on our head.
But when times it comes hitting it, we forget all these.
The stubbornness and the desire become our excuses.
We say “I’m too weak”,”I cannot do it”. “No one understands me”
Are we acting childish again?
Do we not trust God?
Do we not believe in God’s power?
Search your heart deep and you’ll find the answer.

Don’t wait till God uses tough love to turn you back.
Till then hurts and sorrows fills you up.
Only that the breaking point you’ll want to turn back.
God disciplines because He loves.

I’ve made the choice right now.
To do it Your way and not mine.
Letting you mend the brokenness of situations
Sticking firm to the decision made.

Lord, it is tough and it hurts.
But I ask of You to help to heal it, mend it.
Help me and the other that got hurt.
Give me self-control and discipline me.
Give me Your spirit, to empower me to overcome it.
I’m sorry for my willfulness
Forgive me of what I’ve done.
Lead me back to Your way and Your will.
Help me to remember all of You’ve done and promised me.
