The Heart of the Shepherd
:D
HAHA! Finally got to meet up with my sheep's shepherd. I'm greatly touch and inspired by how the ex-shepherd actually love the sheep so much and go to the extra mile for her sheeps. And it makes me think that "Am I loving my sheep to the extend that I am willing to die for them in anyway?".
It is really not easy. But when I hear the sharing from the ex-shepherd, it really hit me and made me want to love all my sheeps more and invest all my life in building them up. I mean, it can't happen instantly but I believe with the Holy Spirit, it can be done. I had a changed perspective of my sheep too. I learn how to look at her strength rather than her weakness. I think that is very important for all the shepherds to take note of this.
As Shepherds of the flock, looking at your sheeps weakness will only distance yourself from your sheep and also being too negative about what they can add strength to the group. As though they can't contribute. But as you learn to look at their strength you actually want to use their strength to add strength to the group and help them to let their weakness be their strength too.
"Investing in lives" as quoted from Utan. Yea, JOY is found when you've impacted someone's else life leading them a step closer to God. Whether in a big or small way. It does matters a lot. I pray that I will have the Heart of Shepherd and Compassion for people, doing things not in my own will or strength but by God's will and strength. Holy spirit, draw me closer to you each day!
