Götgatsbacken

The stare Vila Clothes Wacko Wacko Hattbaren Hirschenkeller
Five street shots from Götgatsbacken on Södermalm. A new project of mine. I spotted the girl in the top photo before she spotted me. Many interesting shops in this area. For all sorts of streetwear. And quite a few bars and restaurants. Hirschenkeller is a legendary place. They have at least three different places in Stockholm, and I was a frequent guest at one of their other pubs during my beer drinking days, but I am yet to try this one.

Window shopping

Nike Girl Brunogallerian Normal2 Spring Summer Collection Götgatsbacken
My third post with photos from Götgatsbacken on Södermalm in Stockholm. Shop windows, and in the second photo the portal to Brunogallerian, the smallest mall in Stockholm.

Folket•Tillsammans•Kompis

Folket•Tillsammans•Kompis
Theme Day. Reflections in windows. My second post with photos from Götgatsbacken. Folket•Tillsammans•Kompis. That means The People. Together. Buddy. The window is the office of an ad agency. Or two agencies that have merged. Tillsammans. Och Folket. I took this photo over the weekend, while out looking for a fitting Theme Day photo. A flickr contact from Perth in Australia, who now lives in Stockholm, and that just like me photographs all over Stockholm on an almost daily basis left a comment saying that he took the same photo at roughly the same time, although he is yet to publish his version.

Window shopping

Window Shopping
I have a new photo project. Sort of. I often enter Stockholm via a street called Götgatan on Södermalm. Very busy. The northern end of it is hilly. It is known as Götgatsbacken. Filled with small shops. Boutiques. Restaurants. Pubs. Book stores. Underground station. A mall. And a lot of people. Everyone visiting Stockholm seems to end up here at least one time. This is where I have photographed the busking opera singers a few times. Anywho, a couple of days ago I decided to start documenting it more closely. This is a lamp store called MässingMäster. They also have a repair service and a few very photogenic windows.
