Zee How is 6 Months Old!

I can sit unassisted - 8 Nov 2010

My first semi-solid organic cereal - 23 Nov 2010
Ended shortly as I began to put up a struggle, wanting to get out of my Bumbo seat!

And by this month, I have started to crawl! Now, I am beginning to wander off the playmat.... oh no!!
It's gonna be a lot of hard work for everyone making sure I don't get hurt!
I remain a Sunshine baby who simply loves to Smile!

Our sibling love continues to blossom... and inevitably with little fights here n there!

Wild Wild Wet @ Downtown East

Today is M1's Carnival Day @ Downtown East and 三舅 are inviting us to the event - and this is the first time that Mommy is bringing 2 out on her own, all the best! Zee Yann is looking forward to seeing her cousins Sharleyne, Aidan and Yan Jun though she is not so keen about swimming... LOL

I am a super smiley and friendly baby! No swimming for me in case my eczema flared up again!!

I am scared to take the rides so I rather ride on 大舅's shoulder and walk around instead!
Brunch time - I love McChicken sesame toast bread!!

Oh no... the sky is turning darker and darker...
And it poured heavily within minutes - and everyone is scrambling for the nearest shelter! But alas, we have so many things to lug along, luckily we brought the kids out, by then we are all so drenched! By the time the rain stopped, we are in no mood to change back into the wet swimming gear and we decide to go for lunch instead.

Just before we depart, Grandma insisted that all the kids should take this ride... oh well...

All hop on board the train... choo choo!!
Just as we are about to go, Sharleyne suggested to go to Explorer Kid and she is willing to take care of Zee Yann so that the adults and baby can go off do their own things. So, while the kids are having a tumbling time out there, Mommy is resting at Coffee Bean with Zee How napping...

I am 3 years old!

It takes me some months to get accustomed to having another person or rather a sibling who takes away a lot of attention and time from my Mommy and Daddy. I am still learning to cope and when I fail to, I will resort to cry or act whinny just to attract attention. Otherwise, I am still the sweet and nice little girl that I have always been.

And I am beginning to exhibit more independence traits with the "I can do it by myself" notion which sometimes can drive us nuts... simply because it means waiting for her "patiently" to finish whatever task that she is determined to do, and yes, all by herself in the exact order and manner that she is expecting!

My Chinese proficiency has increased by leaps and bounds too - thanks to the dedicated Chinese teachers at the childcare centre that I am currently in. And perhaps all those Channel 8 TV programs help too?!

10 Oct 2010 - Posey Me with dearest didi

17 Oct 2010 - I Love didi

23 Oct 2010 - Storytime!

24 Oct 2010 - Overstimulated after Yan Jun's 1st year birthday party

I am 5 months old!

It's amazing how much babies are programmed to grow and learn in their first year of life. Within 5 months, I am already preparing myself to crawl. For a start, the signs are there with me being a more efficient "flipper" and I can inch backwards as well as turn around like a clock. And tummy time has taken on a new dimension now that I have picked up this new stunt - "flying like an aeroplane" as Mommy calls it.

I can see farther too and am getting more accurate as I reach out to grab hair, T-shirt and basically any object within my radar! Ouch... it can get really painful as my grip is firm so do watch out!

And best of all, things have finally fallen into a more predictable routine during daytime as previously my naptime are haywire. Now, a typical day will begin at approximately

7am       - Milk Feed #1 (170ml)
9am       - Morning Nap (1 hr)
10am     - Morning Bath
1045am - Milk Feed #2 (170ml)
12pm     - Afternoon Nap (1 hr+/-)
230pm   - Milk Feed #3 (170ml)
3pm       - Late Afternoon Nap (1 hr+/-)
630pm   - Milk Feed #4 (170ml)
730pm   - Evening Bath
830pm   - Bedtime
11pm     - Milk Feed #5 (200ml) - dream feed cos half of the time I am still sleeping!

That's quite a large amount of milk I consumed... but I don't finish my milk all the time =P and partly it explains why I belong to the high percentile group in terms of weight.

At 5 months, I already weigh 8.15kg and measure 67cm long.

16 Oct 2010 - I love this ball, what's more with the quirky sounds when you hit it!!

19 Oct 2010 - It's reading time or rather I am trying to squash the page!!

29 Oct 2010 - Follow up review on my Eczema condition... moisturize, moisturize and moisturize!!

29 Oct 2010 - Playgym time takes on another dimension now that I can flip and grab the objects!

30 Oct 2010 - My favourite activity... Fly, Fly, Fly!!

6 Nov 2010 - My first taste of water!

Happy Birthday to Zee Zou and Zee Yann!

Sunshine is the theme so we decided to don all the cheerful colours such as yellow and green!! And a BIG Thank You to auntie Serene and uncle Tuan Tong for the cutsey cake and pressie. (And guess what.. we got the same Hello Kitty keyboard for each other down to the exact colour!)

All dressed up with Abidah tying my hair for the party @ Aloha Loyang!

Eating my cookie cautiously after seeing how Jonathan dropped his!

The kids can tuck into triple chocolate while the adults can enjoy our lychee martini flavours... yum yum.

Zee Zou is overwhelmed and tired as its party part II for her!

And fun time begins with cousins Matthew, Jonathan, and even Claire throwing all the balloons here and there!

Zee Yann had a fabulous time and thank you everyone for joining us in this joyous event.

Zee Yann 3rd Birthday Celebration in School

A simple celebration to share the joy with her beloved teachers and friends. She was so overwhelmed that she had forgotten to sing the Happy Birthday song and was busy lookin at her friends throughout... and there was even a Malay version too!

Happy Birthday to our dearest Zee Yann!! Daddy and Mommy just want you to be happy and cheerful everyday!!
