Tour Vol. 1

So I am finally getting around to taking pictures of our house.  I haven't gotten all of the house yet, but here is the main level.

I will work on getting the rest of the house soon.

Christmas Morning

With everyone getting up quite early this morning to see what Santa had left, we decided to TRY and go back to sleep, or at least lay back down and watch a movie.

Christmas Eve

Last night we enjoyed the company of some family.  We had a wonderful time hanging out for awhile and then we ate a wonderful dinner.  After dinner we opened our gifts.  The girls had a blast and did a great job waiting their turn.

They were very eager to help anyone else who would allow them to help.

T got a new book on how to garden.

D giving me a cheesy smile with her new styln' hat!

Gma L and Gpa T excited for their gift card.

Great Grandparents just hanging out, and giving Mudd some attention.

The girls loved this little light stick H got.

Z in her beautiful hat!

And finally H in her cute hat!

A Visitor

Last night we had a visitor stop by right before we were ready to eat dinner.

The girls weren't too sure of him (as other photo opportunities with Santa have shown us), they ran to hide behind Dad.

Once they realized they had to go to Santa in order to get the present he brought they were a bit more accepting.

But they weren't that comfortable with him to get their picture taken with him, so mom and dad got to have their photo with him as well!  Hopefully next year they will warm up to him a bit more!
The girls sure did love the slippers they all got.  D got frogs.
H got pink with monkeys on them.
And Z got her Hello Kitty!

Treats

Today when there wasn't much to do, this is what I ended up doing...

Yummy treats, and I think I even may have some more that I will cook up.

MT Date

Over Thanksgiving Break it worked out that both of us had a day off together and it was a daycare day for kids!!!  So we decided to go out on a date for the day.  First we started off with a little bit of Christmas shopping then headed over to the new indoor range to do a little shooting.  It has been over 5 years since I have been able to go due to being pregnant or having kids with us, so to we took advantage of no kids and free time, and had a great time.

After a bit of shooting we headed to lunch and then enjoyed the rest of the day getting some stuff done around the house!  Not your typical date, but we loved it and had lots of fun.

1st Snow

A couple of weeks ago we finally received our first snow!  The girls were absolutely excited.  They had a great time playing and running around in the snow.  And oh, yes, even Mudd, loved running around in the snow.  Even though he was freezing he still didn't want to come inside the house.

As you can see they were so excited to go play outside, they wouldn't even put their coats on!!

We talked the girls into going up to the trees and shaking the branches to get the snow off, they each only did it once, but had fun with the snow falling on them.

And H trying to make snow balls to throw at me, only after some coaxing from dad.

And of course the one thing that each of the girls talked about on this wonderfully snowy day was that we needed to get our skis out and that we needed to go skiing.  Now we are just waiting for some more snow.

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween, (yes, I know I am behind, again), the girls had a wonderful time.

We had two cupcakes and a bumble bee.  The girls each picked out their costumes.  We met up with their cousin J and went trick-or-treating around his neighborhood.  They all enjoyed their candy, and are still enjoying!

Leaves

With the new yard there are tons of leaves.  This last weekend the wind blew down a ton of the leaves that have already changed color, so we enjoyed them a bit.

The girls had a great time laying and piling them up !
And we also just enjoyed being outside in the wonderful fall weather.

Happy Birthday!

We officially now have 2 three year olds.  D & H celebrated their actual birthday last Monday!  We were able to celebrate with family. We had dinner and then cake and ice cream.

H had a wonderful smile to share the morning of her birthday.  It is amazing to see how far she has come in another year.  She has finally hit the 20 lbs. mark!!!

D also with a smile of her birthday.  She can tell you she is 3 and even has the correct amount of fingers to show!  She also has come a long way over the last three years.

We are so excited that these two are doing so well and have graced our lives these last 3 years!

They had tons of fun opening up some more presents.

The girls with their princess birthday cake.

D really liked the frosting part of her cupcake.

Even Z got her princess cupcake as well.

Early Birthday Lunch

Today we celebrated D & H's birthday. We spent the day going on different outings.  We ended the activities with lunch at Chuck E Cheese.  The kids love all the rides and activities.

The girls also enjoyed opening some presents, actually they had a hard time waiting.

 And playing some more!

It appears that more than just the kids had fun playing as well!

Everyone had fun with the pre-celebration today.
