Just Goofing Around

Z was just enjoying roaming around the house and being silly.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Z even gave us a Christmas present, she slept in until 7:30 am, yeah!!!

Z was enjoying her new toys. Maybe with this kitchen she will gain more of an interest in cooking than her mother does.

Her new rocking Pooh.

Finally Christmas Eve (Round 3)

Well we made it to our house and enjoyed a nice Christmas Eve together. Z enjoyed opening up some more presents.
She was getting very impatient with me trying to get the toy out of the box.
Now she is so interested in her new toy that she didn't care about opening up anything else. Thanks for the new train Aunt J and Uncle T.
Merry Christmas!!! We had to hold Z's hands in order to get a picture with a hat on. She has now taken to ripping hats off of her head all the time.
And for the final present.

Christmas Round 2

So we decided that beings our niece and nephew were so sick and Z could not be around them so we decided that we would have Christmas early and pack up and go home. So this was Christmas morning a couple of days early. All the family came over and we opened gifts.

Z with Great Grandma D.

"Look what I got" Z is showing off some money she got. And her drum and maracas.

Z playing with daddy and climbing over the boxes. (She is always climbing on everything.)

Christmas Round 1

Well Christmas was quite adventerous for us this year. Not only was it Z's first but we celebrated a couple of times and in a couple of different places. First, we let Z open up a present when we got to Aunt B and Uncle J's so she would have a new toy to play with.
Z had fun and did a great job opening up the present. She liked to just rip pieces off and then hand them to us. Which helps for easy clean up.
We even added a couple of bows to her head, which she didn't mind.
And now to play with our new toy. Z enjoys her new musical table. Thanks Aunt B and Uncle J.

Fun with the dogs

Z has sure started to take an intrest in the dogs. She was test driving Jake to see if he was ready to go outside in the snow. I think they both need a little more practice.
She has also discovered how to feed the dogs. I guess she figures that bweings she tries to eat their food she would share. Now she likes to feed Mudd some of her food. Both dogs occasionally try to eat off of her tray, but they don't have to take as Z likes to give.

Holiday Pictures

Here are some great holiday pictures of Z. There are quite a few because I couldn't just pick one.

Z and the dogs attempt a picture together. Let me tell you how hard it is to get two hyperactive dogs and a 10 month old to sit still and look in the same direction at the same time.

"Stripes" the Bunny

Well of course daddy had to bring back a gift for Z on his most recent work trip. He brought back the cutest bunny for Z. "Stripes" is very colorful and Z is loving him.

Check out these long ears.

She is already letting him ride on her car with her. Z is teaching "Stripes" how to wave, too bad she won't do it yet.

Standing up

Z has become very mobile lately. She is standing on everything, and I mean everything; couches, coffee tables, toys, car seats, dogs, and even her crib. Daddy came home and was shocked to see how mobile she was and how quick she moved.

Nothing is safe in the house, not even the dog. Jake is very tolerant of Z using him to pull herself up, crawling all over him, and pulling hair out.

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we finally got some snow. Z decided she could finally try out her snowsuit. She enjoyed sitting in the snow and trying to make a snow angel.

Daddy Time

This is how dad watches Z. I guess it works, she was happy watching daddy's Christmas present, (dad wants me to say that it is Z's early present, but we all know who it is really for).

Movin' Around

Z is moving around the house. She is walking along anything she can find that will support her. She is pulling herself up on everything. If there isn't something to climb up on she will get to where she wants by crawling.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Z enjoyed her first Thanksgiving today. She got to try some pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes. She also enjoyed her own banana, pear, apple food.

You can see she really enjoyed the pumpkin pie, (she's her mom's girl). She especially liked the teeny tiny taste of cool whip.

We had a good day just relaxing around the house and eating pumpkin pie.

9 Months

Can you believe it, our little girl is already 9 months old! She had her checkup the other day and is now weighing in at a whopping 14 lbs. 2 oz. and 26 1/2 inches long. She has over tripled her weight since birth. She is very happy and always giving us a smile.

Z is doing great and enjoying keeping us busy. She loves playing with her dogs and they are tolerant with her playing with their feet, tugging at their tail, and using them to pull herself up.

Smiley Face

We were having fun playing with some stickers last night. We caught two big smiles!

Peek-a-Boo

One of Z's favorite games is playing peek-a-boo. She enjoys pulling the cloth off of our faces and off her own face.

In a Box

What does a box, Z, and daddy all have to do together?

Playtime. All we need are boxes and paper and Z is entertained for hours.

Z was having fun playing with the box then it was decided to try putting her into it. She fit perfectly. This just might be a preview of Christmas.

Kung Fu Fighting

Here is the real halloween costume. Z is already starting her Tae Kwon Do yelling. This is the same outfit she had on when she was just a few days old. Z is now able to fit into the clothing (almost).
