Good morning!
It's no secret that I love making cards. I often wonder what happens to those cards once the receiver has read it and hopefully displayed it for awhile... LOL So, I wanted to create a card that would pull double duty.
I was fishing around in my stash the other day and found my preforating blade for my Carl cutter. I had this idea! How about making a card that doubles as a bookmark!
I cut the base at 2" x 9" and used the preforating blade to score it at 4 1/2". The little piggie is sticking up just a tad over the top to make the card 2" x 5 1/2" when finished. His head is attached with a thin strip of lift tape so that the pages can slide under his chin.
All the receiver has to do is tear at the fold and voila... a bookmark!
Here are the deets:
Stamps: You're so Punny
Colors: GP White, Pink, Brown
Ink: Versafine black onyx, copics
Accessories: Dimensionals, embossing folders
Now it's your turn! Share your ideas of what a card can double as!
Have a great day!!

TSG22- Spooky Cracked Glass
*ETA- a new winner has been chosen for the TSG21 Challenge! Check the bottome of this post :)
With Halloween sneaking up on us, I thought this would be a great challenge to get us in the mood to start our Halloween projects! My challenge to you is to create a card/project using the Cracked Glass technique. The catch? It has to be a Spooky theme :) If you have never tried this technique before, I encourage you to give it a try! It is rather easy and the results give such a great touch to any project. Here is a link to a great tutorial on Splitcoatstampers showing you how to do this technique step by step!
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card/layout using a spooky cracked glass image and come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Oct. 5th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG22 so we can check out your beautiful work!
