I'm Loved!!!

Tonight I went to visit my brother and his family who are visiting from Illinois. I was helping them put their two girls to bed and every night before they put their girls down, they read the scriptures. My niece will be three in June, so the scripture reading is pretty basic. My brother briefly read about when Jesus blesses the children and was telling her that Jesus loves her. Then my niece, who was sitting in my lap, looked up at me, pointed to me, and said, "and he loves you, Marla!" It was the sweetest thing. That simple reminder, a fact that I am very aware of, has never come across as powerful than it did today when my little niece was the one to remind me.

THE DAMAGE IS DONE

Today, I woke up early, on my last day of spring break, to go to the Scrapbook Expo with my cousin Karen! We got there early for the "Early Bird" thingy and we got a goodie bag! I swear ladies got there extremely early to get their spot in line! It looked much like an airport line....everyone with their carry-ons...except all of their carryon's were full of scrapbooking stuff! It was nuts! I went with $100 cash...and "accidently" took my wallet in...ha ha ha! Oh boy...I had a little too much fun! I have several scrapbooks to work on now! The scrapbook expo was way fun. I plan on going again in 6 months!
