Went for dinner buffet over at Copthorne King Hotel last night. Food pretty alright but I guess the variety's pretty limited. I didn't get to try the cheecheogfun 'cuz I was super bloated by the time I remembered. Thereafter, it's MOVIE TIME! (ok, kill me for slacking again but hey~! I needed a break) Caught "Surrogates" with dear at Tpy Eng Wah Cinema. Not the nicest show ever but it's pretty intriguing just by thinking about how a world might be if technological advancements that we're experiencing today can actually bring about a world functioed by robots. All you have to do it to lie on a chair and the system will connect your brain to a robot which will then go about with your normal day of life. (You get to personalise the appearance of your robot too! So basically everyone and anyone can be a supermodel~! lols!) Funny thing about the movie is that, "why aren't the "real" people fat and weak? Given that all they do throughout their entire lifespan is just laying on the chair and using the robot to get about their daily life~ hmmm... Oh! and there's this particular scene in the movie whereby the main character lost his "surrogate" (the robot that I'm refering to) and had to walk along the streets in his actual self. It had also struck me real hard regarding this particular concept that I'd studied in my Urban Sociology class. "A lonely crowd" "A world of Strangers". How funny it is to be walking along the streets and despite having rubbed shoulders with so many people, you seem not to notice or know one another. As the concept goes,"our physical contact is close but our emotional contact apart". How apt.
Anyway to end off with a lighter note, I've finally gotten my white shirt for the marketing presentation tomorrow~!!! Got it from OG Chinatown at 40 bucks. Pretty reasonable I suppose but obviously the same thoughts aint shared by my dad. But oh wells... (not a light note after all) -shrugs-

Have been pretty busy with work lately. Both school as well as business.
Blogshop's been doing pretty well I supposed. Collection 3 had just been launched a few days ago and we managed to sell quite a couple of pieces. Thanks to all who had been so generous in showering us with support all the while. Really appreciated it and I assure you that we will continue to work hard and make everyone's shopping experience with us a pleasant one =)
Business aside, it's all about school work. Treacherous piles of readings lay right in front of me as I typed this... Procrastination is seriously one major flaw of me that I should get rid of... GOSH!

The past few days had been a real big rollercoaster ride.
Jumping onto the bandwagon of online shopping, I know right from the start that it will be extremely difficult for my shop to compete with those which have been a lot more established. Nevertheless, I took up the challenge. I wanted to do something that I can remember for life. Something which I can lift my head high up on when I looked back into time and say, "I have not wasted my youth, I've done something useful".
So anyway enough of emo-stuff, my shop is launched!!!! It's called, "myClosetdelights" a shop that aspires to bring delights to every single customer that patronises us, be it through our service or through the wide variety of apparels that brightens the mundane wardrobe that they may have. To one and all, here's the LINK to my shop. Please support us wherever you can alright? We need all the support that we can have. Love ya loads.
