Since we haven't seen most of you for a little while I thought I'd write a little update as to what we are up to these days.  We are living in St. George at my in-laws in a basement apartment for a bit while we are saving for a place of our own.  Cam is working full-time at Zions Bank and I am working part-time at Costco in the bakery.  If you want to build some strength, the bakery is the place to do it.  The muffin pans alone weigh 8 lbs each.  Then there's the boxes, pouring batter (shoulder workout), mopping (cardio), did I mention lifting boxes and pans?  I like it because it's so physical and fast pace which makes the time go by fast.  Of course I would rather be home with my baby but for a job it's not so bad.

I love the weather down here.  It does get a bit hot in the summer but the rest of the year it's way nice.  The red rock and the palm trees are just beauuuutiful.

So life for us consists of working and having a blast figuring out this new parent thing.  Kate is a fun addition to our little family.  I just took her to her 2 month doctor visit which wasn't so fun.  She had to get 3 shots right in the thighs.  A nurse on each side and she's looking at me like what's going on?  Then they count 1,2,3 and both of them stick a needle in her little thighs and then one of them grabs a third one!  Kate did not like that and cried the saddest cry I have ever heard.  But good news is she's healthy and growing.  She is now 10 lbs.  She sleeps well at night.  Usually going down around 10 to 11 pm and stays asleep til at least 4 or 5 a.m. then goes back to sleep til 7 or 8.  She snorts when she cries which makes it hard cause every time she cries i want to laugh.  She's smiling a lot and just being so cute.  She loves looking at fans, taking baths and her favorite it this little mobile...

Anyways, I could go on and on about how crazy adorable she is but I've got to go to bed.  But the point is being a mom is the greatest!

Baby Faces

So this is my first attempt at a blog.  I'm not much of a blogger but I wanted something to share with family since we don't live so close any more.  So here it goes...

I just recently had my first baby about 2 months ago and have come to really appreciate all the different kinds of faces babies can make.  Kate has many faces....

These are just a few of the faces Kate can make.  It is never ending really.
