Random June

Yes, it is the 4th of June in Vegas and we were the only kids at the park wearing pants and sweaters! It was super windy and cold! Some parents even had their kids showing up in swim wear for the water features! Duh. Of course none of them went in the water once they got there! I have to say it was fun putting jeans on the kids. I guess it's because I love fall.
We got our dirt yard paved into a nice patio now, so the kiddos were playing in the pool before we actually put water in it. We love swimming in our big pool too! Here is Hailey, and her new friend Kailey, walking together holding hands. :)
Our friends, the Bryant's, came to visit and we all pilled in our car to head out to Lake Las Vegas for the day. On the way, Hailey and Carter loved holding hands with baby Keegin. It was heart warming and so cute!
This is one of the many pictures of Hailey holding baby Henry, Peter's baby, before they had to move to Utah. She would have held him day and night if they'd let her! :)

Bonnie Springs

We took a trip out to Bonnie Springs Saturday morning with our friends Charlie, Sarah, and Jake. It's just a short trip out of Vegas to the west in a little old western town. They have a petting zoo where we pet a deer, rabbit, pig, goats, a pony, and saw chickens, mice (my favorite), guinney pigs, peacocks, and wolves. We couldn't catch the chickens and definitely did not pet the wolves! It was a lot of fun with a few shows including a mellow drama and a town hanging. The kids were able to walk around and explore a few cool places as we were all sweating to death. We planned to go on the train last and of course with our luck it broke down and we weren't able to go on it!

Father's Day

We went to St. George for Father's Day weekend. We had a blast going to the water park and Carolyn's reception. It was also great to spend Father's Day with my father and to have fun with Grandma and Grandpa! Peek-a-boo! :)Hailey looks really excited in this picture, but actually is a chicken when it comes to the fountains! Carter is the one who is brave enough to run in them with Daddy!

Grandma and Grandpa have a nice picture yard, so when we're there we have to take church pictures. :)
This is the best one I could get of sleepy Carter!
