My PowerPoint Presentation

Some of you have been asking for my PowerPoint presentation. I hope you all like it. They gave me A on this.

Presentation

I have been going pretty fast through the easy sections of my school books. I am now in PowerPoint. I need to make a presentation of my own for one of my tests. What topic do you think would be a good PowerPoint presentation for me to do? I have about a week or so to figure this out.

Life curve ball

We got home from are trip at the end of July & I was going to write about it when I got home on here. I had all the notes typed up on my husband's laptop, but wasn't meant to be.

About 2 weeks after being home I started not sleeping well witch led to me loosing complete control of my body after a week & not able to walk. I went to the doctor a week after loosing sleep, & they found an infection when taking the minimal testing. This happened right when my bother in-law Mark was in town, so I am glad that he could help my husband. I am still taking a pill for sleep, but we are trying to ween me off.

Thank you for the friends I have & family that put me on the prayer role. On fast Sunday you are welcome to do what you can.

Here is a link you can use if you want to be friends on our Redbox amount. We won't be using it a lot, but we still thought it was good to get an account & see what we think of it. There is 1or 2 things we have found out. It's better to look for the movie online, so that you can reserve it or go to the right Redbox. Each box has its own selection. June & school

I wanted to write sooner, but the blog stopped working on Internet Explorer for the writing portion. That meant I was pushed to my backup browser, or get the Google browser. I also had the monitor go white on me.

Here is how school & my birthday went in the last little while.

I met a new friend at school, & his name is Jared. He got a job about 3 weeks ago, so I am happy for him. We had been working together on some of my assignments. Thanks Jared for all your help & being a good friend. We plan to keep our friendship going, so we can keep helping each other out.

I had a B on my first test and I will have my next test next week if I keep up my hours.

My birthday was 4 weeks ago. It is hard to celebrate a birthday that lands on a Sunday. On Monday I went with my friend Nicolle to a yogurt place. Then I went to dinner with my family at Shari's. We had a cake on Tuesday, & I got jellybeans from the Relief Society Presidency. I thought my birthday party was over last Friday the 15th, but I got anther gift.

Here is some pictures of some of the gifts.This what we had before I could buy a cake. Then I didn't take a picture of it after all.

I gave my husband a $ amount so he could buy me a gift. He found this Josh Groban CD. He don't like Josh, so I was thinking he would get something else. Now I am only missing one CD & movie soundtracks like the Polar Express.

My visiting teachers came by with a candle & a box that had candy. There was also a jar of strawberry jam.

Has anyone let someone barrow their girls camp sweatshirt? I am so nervous. I don't normally let people barrow my cloths. They are doing something at camp to celebrate the decades. I hope the girls liked to see all the different sweatshirts that were made so far.

Happy 4th of July this week.

Whats New

I have finished 3 parts of my Microsoft Word book. I will be taking a test tomorrow. I am nervous about taking a test, but I better get use to it.

My husband started a swimming class at the rec center that is a little beyond his back's liking. Hope he can overcome this without dropping out. He needs to have some exercise.

I have been going through my CD's, so I can make a list of songs I wanted to take with me on my rode trip.

My work

 I started my class on March 26, 2012, & I found some red flags that needed to be fixed to continue the class with minor help.

My teacher & I talked about where I want to be at the end of this class, so I would have the most options for me. With the job market my teacher suggested that I start with the Microsoft office books for Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. I do know how to use Word & Excel really well. I am just having to use Dragon directly in Word. If I have extra time at the end of the class I will work on the Quickbooks.

I have had one care.com job since I singned up late last year to help mom's out with their family. It was for a 4 year old girl who wouldn't let me go home. Her dad had to peal her off of me, so I could go out the door. I thought they would need me again, but they didn't so her mom did a nice review on me for people to see. On Saturday I was asked over the phone to come to interview for a new job. I went to the interview, & the mom didn't show up. I came home after calling her & found an email posted one hour prier to the interview time saying she wouldn't be there. I keep looking for someone I can work with, because I don't think I need to wait on her.

The good & the bad

1. On January 1, 2012 I called up my friend Natalee to ask her about her son's baptism that was coming up soon. Then she asked me, "Did you know that Scott was getting baptized?" I said, "No!" I didn't know he was even doing the missionary discussions yet. When is this? It is at 7:00. You mean tonight? That is in two hours I guess we should get off the phone. Then I got off the phone to ask if I could get a ride with someone. Apparently my husband was overhearing part of my phone call, so when I said, "Mom, Scott is getting baptized tonight at 7:00. Do you want to go?" She didn't answer me & my husband darted out of the bedroom to see what was going on with Scott. He was still shocked about the whole thing for days.

The program

At the baptism I got shocked again, because my friend Kait's dad was doing the baptism. It meant a lot to me that Kait's dad got chosen to do that for Scott.

For those of you who don't know who Scott is, here is a little about him. Scott married a member of the church & he is a chiropractor. They have some kids. I started sending my husband to Scott about 2 years ago since he has been having back problems.

2. Natalee's son got baptized January 7, 2012 & here is a picture of Hudson standing with is dad Steve.

Later I went over to sit with Abram, because Natalee left again & I know that he responds to me well.

3. My friend Cheryl & her husband got their mission call, so we went to their farewell.

4. My feet are different sizes, & my husband discovered that the left one was made in China & the right one was made in the US.

5. I was working on dinner & my mom scared me. My fingers got into the flame on the stove, so I have been dealing with a burn on my little finger for about a month. It is almost healed.

6. I went though a tutoring process that helped me to use the Dragon software easier. Then I was going to start taking a bookkeeping class & that has been having it's problems to the point that I have been waiting over a month to start the class.

Christmas Thank you

My brother David came home on Christmas Eve. He went to the door later that day, & found this big basket outside. The tag said the basket was for my husband & I from Santa. We still don't know who Santa was, but they obviously know me very well.

Inside the basket was jams, butterfly clock, butterfly stationery, some movie tickets, & some other gift cards. The best thing I can do was to post it on my blog so whoever did it would get a thank you. When my husband saw what was in side he said "This is all for you, & you need to put it on your blog for a thank you by itself"
