Bummer!

I was going to post a few recent pictures of Thanksgiving and getting our tree yesterday, but unfortunately I'm out of blog space. Gotta figure out what to do... :(

Preschool Gobbler

 I was inspired by another preschool mom to do something cool for our monthly snack day, so I went with the fruit gobbler I saw on familyfun.com. The boys loved it! Logan sat on the floor by it (I had to take a picture of it in natural light) and said cheep, cheep. I hope he learns by Thanksgiving that turkeys don't make chicken noises. :)

Arrrrh...

Now that I have started Instagram, I got a little side tracked and haven't kept up with blogging. My dear friend, Kelsey, printed my blog for my birthday for me. That is a a good reminder for me that I need to keep this up to date so my family and I can treasure these memories for years to come. Anyway, we spent our Veteran's holiday with some wonderful friends. Alaina set up a pirate ship for the kids and they had a ton of fun looking through their spyglasses (picture of Logan) :) and then finding a map and searching for treasure. We even got to take some of the goodies with us and I had a little pirate in the car on the drive home. Thanks to our friends for a fun time. The boys can't wait to visit again!

Halloween fun

I must have looked ridiculous leaving the harvest party, carrying all this stuff! I wanted B to take my picture in one of those memorable mommy moments, but I couldn't get my camera. I had Blake in the ergo on my front, I was carrying two costumes, a fire helmet, a decorated potato, Brady's backpack, my camera and a big paper art project. Logan was walking behind me and said, "Your hands are full mommy." Ha! Glad he noticed. :)

Cabo San Lucas

We just got home last night after having a week of quality family time, playing in the sun in Cabo. I wanted to share a few of our highlights from our trip. :) 

Blake's first time in the swimming pool! We had to take off his hat to get a quick picture of his cute face. :)

 We had LOTS of pool time. Wally the walrus definitely made it even more fun!

 

One of my favorite things was working on a little family scrapbook each day where we put quotes, our favorite activity of the day (usually Logan said swimming!!!), and shells or something special for that day. I look forward to putting pictures in there soon to remember our trip. I was wishing I had an instax camera just so I could have the book completed when we got back!! Brady spent a lot of time drawing and we did a couple other projects too, like the spider/octopus Logan made for Halloween. Even on vacation, they still love art!!

Going home... wish I'd had my zoom lens while we were riding the golf cart (also one of the boys' favorite things)

And now....back to reality...cooking, dishes, laundry, work... (by the way, this wasn't a vacation, it was a "relocation" another mom called it...although it was nice parenting together for a week straight!) And right now, taking care of a little exhausted Logan who didn't take a nap like his brothers and is feeling neglected while I blog and he works on another art project...

nine months & thirty two years

Sweet boy Blake is now nine months old and tomorrow is another birthday for me. Shawn bought these super duper yummy cupcakes to share with my family yesterday. I had a fun evening celebrating my birthday with taco salad and good company. These delicious cupcakes may have to be a yearly tradition! ;)  (My Mama already decided which flavor she wants for her birthday...next October!)

8 years

happy anniversary shawn. thanks for 8 years of marital bliss. ;) thanks for celebrating with me and the boys this morning with a trip to the mall. (doesn't everyone want to take three boys shopping on their anniversary to buy new jeans? for the record... shawn is the one that bought new jeans!) And thanks for letting me quickly get my toes painted orange on the way. :) i love you.
