Rooftop Recordings

After two years of hard work and slowly building up the equipment to start our own studio, it has finally happened. We are now the proud owners of Rooftop Recordings.

Tim has worked extremely hard to get to this point and has loved having an official studio to work from and advertise for. He has had some talented clients come in so far and everyone who has come in has been extremely satisfied with the recording experience as well as the final product. He does an amazing job of making the musicians feel comfortable, at home, and not rushed so that they can get quality recordings of their best work.

Anyway, that is the big news in our life right now. Things have been going great here in Seattle. We still love this city. We've been out enjoying the sun while it lasts and taking advantage of living so close to the lake. If I had to use only two words to sum up 2013 so far, it would be "crazy!" and "fun!"

We did the polar bear dives here on New Years Day.

I'd post pics of us, but they are terrible. There were over a thousand people there. And these pics are actually from the second one we did that morning. We might be a bit crazy.

When bored we dress up as Ninjas or Nevernudes (from Arrested Development...Good ol' Tobias) and take pictures for the fun of it.

We will also sometimes shave Tim's head so that he looks like a bald therapist and take ridiculous pictures for his pretend therapy website.

Also, after being married over 6 years and only having one vehicle, we FINALLY bought a second car. Best thing we've ever done! Everything is so much easier having a second car. Especially when one of you commutes 45 minutes each way for work. It is amazing having a second car.

Anyway, it has been a really good last six months. We've been super busy and a lot of the goals we have been working towards for years, finally came to fruition. You can't really ask for more...
