Merry Christmas!

Christmas is over, Boxing day is over and exam is drawing nearer! Life's awesome and I'm lovin' it but sadly, I need to be serious over my studies after all these fun! =( I have had a week of holiday and I can say that I'm having a great time over here though we didn't travel anywhere like other people do! We only have casual outings like shopping, having a meal in town and watching movie. But these casual outings are cool and I'm lovin' it! How about you, my friends? =)

We celebrated winter soltice festival over here too and it was awesome! I'm really glad despite I'm far away from home, I still have a bunch of good friends over here in the UK with me! I'm really grateful about it!!

It was a movie marathon after the dinner! went back pretty late, it was really as if we came back from clubbing! HAHA!! But we good kids watch movies at home instead of going clubbing! :p

The next day which is X'mas day, we went to my friend's place again and eat up the left overs for lunch. After that, movie marathon again! Then, when it's time for dinner, another x'mas dinner is prepared again... =D

And today was boxing day! Obviously, boxing day in UK is quite a big thing so we went out, wanted to experience the excitement of buying cheap cheap items but out of our expectation, Bristol is pretty quiet. I guess it would have been better to experience the real boxing day at london... 

so, this is how I spend my first week of holiday over here :) Fun? Need to get on with my studies soon! T.T wish me luck people!

A great day out!

The winter holiday has just arrived again! Another year has passed and I am done with my first term at UWE! Time really flies! So far, life's great! Love everything and everyone in my life! Have been to many places ever since holiday started! 

Bel's friends came all the way from Lincoln to visit Bristol and we brought them around. We brought them to Shanghai nights. It's a chinese buffet restaurant. I haven't been eating good food lately so having the first few bites of the food really did made me feel satisfied about the food! Made friends with bel's friends and his friends and it was really nice knowing them. Qiao xin went with us too which made the atmosphere even more merrier! 

Last year around this time, the first day of holiday, I went to suspension bridge with Qiao Xin and gang as well and this year, my first day of winter holiday was well spent with her and other people! =) After having a heavy meal for a lunch-teatime kind of meal, we decided to bring them to have a walk at cabot circus which will pass by the german market which is really pretty as well! We walked to Clifton's suspension bridge later on and it was realllyyyy a long walk!! I would never walk so long in Malaysia! 

Since I have been to suspension bridge last year and this year, I would like to made a comparison HAHA! Cos it didn't snow this year but it snowed last year! and of course, the snowed suspension bridge looks prettier! However, they have their own beauty! =)

When we reached suspension bridge, it was as if we are on an adventure because everywhere seems pitched black and it really was as if we were going on camping on a cold winter day! And when we see the bridge, it was really beautiful! Although it's just a bridge, it looks beautiful at night! 

After a long walk to the bridge, we went back to shanghai nights to have my first ever karaoke since I came back to Bristol this term! It feels sooooo good to sing again after so many months not singing! Spent 3 hours there eating, singing and talking! It was really a great night we had! 

I always love meeting new people and socializing. Although I'm not good in socializing with new people, I really love meeting new people because it broadened up my networking! And especially, in UK. =)

Achievement

Sometimes, I thought to myself, I have lived 20 years and what have I done? what have I achieved? I thought about the times when I was stilll at Malaysia few years back.Time really flies. 2 years ago, when I was still doing TBF, I wouldn't have thought that I would be studying in UK. I wouldn't have even thought that I would befriend such amazing Elf friends (p.s.: Elf isn't what you think it is, it stands for Everlasting Friends).

I really believe in fate. Without fate, I really can't imagine what kind of life I'm having. Sometimes, I still thought that I'm living in a dream  because everything is happening. I am studying in the UK and it seems like I have transferred to sri KL yesterday, I went back to Malaysia for my summer break and that period of time was as though it was a dream to me, it is as though UK is my reality. The friends that I mixed with currently and in the past, it changes so quickly! Sometimes, I think... 1 or 2 years from now, will I stay with the same friends that I have now? Because I really appreciate my friends, all my friends and I don't want to lose any of them. But I don't have a say in this because all these changes.

Anyway, life over here is rather alright. I do enjoy and I do feel sad. It's just a normal human emotion. I'm back to playing piano again <3 I have a group of friends who's so in love with playing piano as well and I'm really very happy to play and chat with them about all these because my dream is to maintain my passion for piano but I lose that passion few years ago and found it back again. Besides playing the piano, I have a new discovered interest. I don't know how long it has began but I'm in love with dancing as well =) I really feel happy to dance especially when I had a really busy day and was really tired, after I attended the dance class, I regained the positive energy! I guess people who know me well would have known why my discovered interest is so shocking!

The course I'm doing, it's getting tougher. How? Just keep the passion, keep the determination and keep going until I achieve something I promised myself to achieve. Talk is easy but what about taking action? I'll remember what my dad tell me, never give up. Henry says never give up too! Whenever I thought about the hardwork they put in, it often motivates me! It lighted up my spirit to keep going no matter how bumpy the road could be.

Visit to Torquay

For the past one week of Independent Learning Week, what have I done? Read on, and you'll know! I spent my time fooling around instead of studying! Because it is supposed to be a week of study break! Oh well, I went to Torquay, Torbay. It is somewhere near Bristol and there are alot of miniature which is really cute! We drove there and it is really a beautiful place! Worth a visit! =)

Glad that I made the right decision to go! I would love to visit all these lovely places in England before exploring Europe! Life is Brilliant, Indeed!

Holiday ended, time to get back to studying and focus in what I'm supposed to do!

LOA anyone?

I have came back to blog because I realized my mistake. Firstly, I wasn't myself when I blogged my previous post. Second, I have return with the secret. Third, I decorated my notice boards with full loads of motivational quotes and photos and lastly, I realized that I have kinda forgotten about my mission, my dream. How dumb have I become? I know, stress comes from within ourselves and if I don't control and turn it better, I guess I'll have negative results and life coming up. Hence, transformed it to something magical, HJ. Don't forget what have you learned all these years! Don't let it turned into something being forgotten!

It's almost 2am now and I'm still infront of my laptop! The original part of me has returned bit by bit. Tomorrow when I wake up, I would be free from nightmare but anyway, the nightmare was actually from my own thoughts. So yeah..

I have never felt so miserable before. Thanks for the wake up call! Oh this word really reminded me about something in the past which I have blogged about before. Oh well, let the past remained in the past. The present is beautiful... <3

Nottingham games 2011

So it is the Nottingham Malaysian Games again today! At first, I didn't want to go but everyone's going and so, I tagged along. One of the reasons I didn't want to go to Nottingham was also because I will have insufficient sleep as we need to wake up at 3am and gather at 4am++ and take a 2-3 hours bus to Nottingham! It is going to be damnnnnn tiring! But oh well, I'm so glad that it turned out great!

I met alot of Malaysians at Nottingham! It's like back to Malaysia again with loads of Malaysian and the food fair! But unfortunately, friends that I met are mostly HI BYE friends or friends who I am not close with so I'm a little disappointed =(
