So to say that we love to play games, is an understatement.Just take a look at our game closet we can hardly fit another game in there. We call ourselves "intense gamers". My family came up this weekend and we played about 50 rounds of Monopoly Deal (our recent favorite). We have way to much fun together playing games, and laughed so hard all of our belly's hurt. I love how in the picture mom is holding up all of her money!! You don't really win in this game by having the most money but she didn't care, she loved the thought of having 30 million in her hand. Thanks guys for such a great day. Can't wait to do it all over again when we see you next.

Emmett Trip
The terrible scores
Gotta love him
Kayla and Derek
We went to Emmett for my Dad's Birthday! We had a lot of fun but the car ride over could have been a little bit faster. We left Friday night, and it was snowing pretty bad, the roads were super slick. Thanks to my creative car ride games we ended up laughing lots and it wasn't too bad. Our favorite game was the one we played where one person makes a sound and then the next person does a different sound while the previous person is still doing there sound. Then so and and so forth till everyone in the car has made a sound. It was so hilarious hearing all of our creative sounds put together, we laughed and laughed. We ended up getting to Emmett just before midnight, with Dad already fast asleep:)
Our festivities for the week included: watching 6 seasons of Wipeout, the boys could have watched 4 more, but for Kayla and I we were all wiped out!! We also went to the church and played a mad hour of basketball. I hold the trophy for the most free throw shots made, just like in grade school. The highlight of our trip was BOWLING!!
We're all really not that good, but we know how to have a good time, while we are there. That's what makes it fun anyways~ I made tons of treats and food for our weekend, we were all so sick from vegging all day long. It is always so nice to go back to Emmett, we had a ball. It was hard to leave and come back to reality again. Thanks for a great weekend Dad, Happy Birthday!

Hiatus
Wow, I can't believe I am posting. As you can see, it's been a while. I keep telling myself I need to update, I need to update and then somehow time just slips away from me. I think I got so far behind, it was draining to think of all that I need to post in order to get updated. Now I am doing the short and easy way out and I will just give a quick recap of what we have been up to.
June 2010- We bought a boat with Trevors family and have enjoyed getting it all fixed and shined up for our outings this summer. We took it out a few times, before the weather changed and loved every minute of it.
July 2010- Yahoo, we celebrated our 6th anniversary!! We took a trip to Bear Lake and went to the "Pickleville Playhouse". It was so much fun! We ate at this really yummy pizza restaurant and spent some time in the lake.
August 2010- Back to school time!! Trevor started up graduate school again with the University of South Dakota and his fourth year at Blackfoot High. He became the Mock Trial/Street Law coach and teacher.
September 2010- Nothing too eventful happened this month. We both enjoyed canning our vegetables from our garden. That took up like every weekend. We ended up canning beans, carrots, and potatoes. I also did a few pints of applesauce (60 to be exact:)
October 2010- Vacation time again!! We went to Milwaukee, WI and had the chance to tour Chicago for a day as well. We love our time spent out there and didn't ever want to leave. My sister Shalese, had a baby boy, Gage in August and we finally met him. Love at first sight!! His smile will capture your heart~
November and December 2010- Were of course filled with the hoiday spirit, we love this time of year, spent with our families. One of the highlights in November was that my sister Kayla came home from serving her mission. It was so good to see her again. We spent our time off for the holidays, playing games, relaxing, eating and playing more games.
December 29th-January 31st- What a time for me. I ended up having two surgerys. First my gallbladder and 4 gallstones were removed two days before new years eve, if you can imagine our new years wasn't very enjoyable. I had severe pain on and off and ended up at the urgent care and radiology often. I am so glad I got it done, I haven't had anymore pain. Then on January 21st 2011, I had hernia surgery. While they were doing my gall bladder they found two small hernia's near my uterus and highly suggested I have them fixed. It was a blessing in disguise as my Dr. told me that if I would have gotten pregnant with these hernia's it could have been a life and death threatening situation for me or the baby. This surgery really took a toll on me and my body. Thanks to Trev, mom and my mother in law for all of their help. I am just now starting to feel somewhat better and can get out of bed by myself now. I learned a great lesson during this time "PATIENCE." Trevor has really had to be Mr. Nurse for a while and took such good care of me while I was down.
It is now February and I just celebrated my 28th birthday~ We went to Logan for a day and saw another play by "Pickleville Playhouse", it was called "Bandito Rides Again" and had us laughing so hard during the show and on the entire ride home. Thanks Nate and Kayla and Mel and Kel for the fun day~ We always have a blast with you guys.

Happy Valentines Day
This is what I came home to tonight! Our bed was covered in hearts with words on them from Trev each one says something he loves about me, and the beautiful vase of daisies is balancing in the middle. Too cute, not to post right? We spent the evening eating homemade soup and bread bowls and watched a movie (I convinced Trev, a chick flick would end the day just right:)
I have a sweetheart!! On Saturday Trev and I celebrated our V-day early and went to the Idaho Falls temple. It was so nice, but funny story is we ended up in the spanish session. It definitely kept us awake:) Then we went out to lunch at the Mongolian Grill, it was so delicious and we both hadn't eaten there in years. We spent the afternoon window shopping and enjoying the time out in Idaho Falls.

Max
I noticed that I hadn't really posted anything about "our child" Max.
His top favorite toys are:sticks, or logs for that matter. Frisbee's, shoes, and water bottles.
What he loves to do in his spare time: go swimming, sunbathe, sleep, and play with sticks or his frisbee.
Why he drives us crazy: he is stubborn and when he sticks his mind to something he does not give up, he is very attention seeking for example he won't touch our pond in the yard unless we haven't paid attention to him or taken him for a walk if not he will destroy our lily pads, lights, fish, rocks, etc. He hates the rain and will sit on our patio furniture to not get wet.
Why we love him like a child: he doesn't bark, seriously hardly ever!! He only does his business on one side of our yard(which makes things very nice). He wags his tail every time he see's us and loves us even after we scold him. He is so good with our neices and nephews and they love him to death, we think he should become the Clayson Family dog/mascot. He wrestles Trevor and lets him win:)
I wouldn't trade him for the world and am so glad he is part of our family.
