Updates and Friends

It has been a crazy week for us Spencers. Our car, the Blazer, decided not to work (Or at least not work until we can solve the problem and get it fixed $$$$$!!!) So Trevor has been taking my car and my parents have ever so generously let me drive their truck. I am trying not to put a lot of miles on it and keep it nice for them, so on my day off today I've spent my time getting life super organized, cleaning the house, balancing the checkbook, meal planning, etc. etc. I then checked my blog and found I had two old friends comment. (Thanks Annalyn and Briana!!) I was so excited to hear from them, and I got thinking about all the friends I have had in my life. So indulge me while I reminisce about a few of the wonderful friends I have had up to this point in my life.

I grew up with great ward friends. There were 8 girls my age and we actually got along really well. When High School was over it was interesting to me that I gravitated towards them again. They were always great friends to me and still are.I know that each of them will always be there for me. Thanks girls!

All throughout my school years I had a great group of friends. ( Heck I married one of them!) But I have to mention the Vykelles. They were all such great friends to me and although I hardly hear or see any of them, I count them as friends for life and look back with such amazing memories of the time I spent with them. I count each one a close friend!

My college years presented me with so many wonderful opportunities. BYU-IDAHO was a great time and I made lots of friends, especially Chrissy, Susie, and Katie! They were such great friends at the time and I wish them the best!

Nauvoo was one of the best times of my life. I really made some life long friends there and still keep in touch with a few. Holly (Heff), Annalyn, Liz and I were inseparable. They are special kinds of friends. They are my eternal friends and I miss them everyday!! They are some of the best friends I have ever made! I love you guys!!!!!

The Twin Hollows Ward!!!!! Oh man how I loved that ward! I never see any of them, but it was a great ward to be a part of , and I made some GREAT friends who were amazing examples to me. There are way too many to name! But I have to mention Tammy! What a wonderful friend she was to me!

My work friends! I've posted about them before, but they are a great group of girls. They make work a great place. I love them so much Trevor and I convinced Amy and Phil to move next door!!! ( We are SOOOO excited you guys!)

And my dear husband Trevor Jay! My best friend for almost 7 years now! He is everything a wonderful friend should be and more! I love you babe!

To all my friends past and present, THANK YOU for shaping my life and being an example to me. A girl can never have too many friends, and I feel lucky to have rubbed shoulders with each and every one of you!!! I am the absolute worst at keeping in touch but I hope you all know I love you heaps and If you halve a blog let me know! ( and add comments to mine!)

To all my friends, wherever you are and whatever you are doing!!!

Island Park Pics

ISLAND PARK

Well this weekend was once again loads of fun. Trevor and I managed to sneak away for the weekend and head up with my family to our cabin in Island Park, Idaho. We went up Thursday evening and left Sunday kicking and screaming. My cabin is probably my favorite place. It is abosolutely gorgoeus up there and ALWAYS fun. We spend the days on the lake behind our cabin and the nights talking, watching movies, playing games and eating! If I want a crazy fun vaction I choose Disneyland. If I want a relaxing, fun, family vacation I choose Island Park. Although Trev and I were not able to stay up there for very long, we did have a chance to go on the boat, ride the 4-wheelers lots, and jump off our tramp into the lake (which was really fun, but I didn't get any pictures of it!) So here are a few pictures from our wonderful vacaction! ENJOY!!!

Friends, Family and Birthday Fun!

Well these past few weeks have been filled with so much fun. Time has gone by so fast I can hardly believe it is July. Before I know it Fall will be here with Christmas on its heels! ( Not that I would complain really October through December is by far my favorite time of the year. I love the Fall and Christmas!!!!)

Well we stated these crazy weeks hanging out with my work friends again. We played games and had treats at Genae's house. It was heaps of fun, we were there until almost 2:00 in the morning! Here are some pictures from that night.

Trevor and Phil have really learned how to play off one another and usually have all of us laughing our heads off at who knows what!
Thanks again Genae and Brett for letting us hang at your house. We had a really good time!!!!

Friend fun was Friday night, and the wee hours of the morning. Saturday was my 23rd birthday!! It was a very relaxed day. Trevor let me sleep in and made me breakfast. The rest of the day was spent getting things ready for my party. Now I know I'm 23, not 2 or 3, but I think speding time with family is one of the best ways to spend a birthday! So we invited both sides of the family to a birthday party.
Everyone brought food, there were games, and a water fight. It was a great birthday. Thanks to everyone for coming and sharing in my day. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have hoped to, but hopefully you can get an idea of how much fun we had. I just wish I would have gotten pictures of the water balloon fight. Sorry again Brook! The kids seemed to have a good time with the water baloon and water guns. I just should have bought more of them. Next time right! Hopefully everyone had a good time even though it was bloody hot!
Here are just some random pictures of the party! Hopefully nobody cares that I post them!

Thanks again Tueller's for bringing the canopy! It saved us all from the tourturing heat!

Hopefully this will be a tradition for years to come, maybe not in the form of a birthday party but some sort of party right?

THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!!!!

LOVE YA ALL:)

The next weekend was the 4th of July! And lucky for all of you I forgot my camera. We had a good holiday though, Trevor had to work during the day, that night we went to my Aunt Carolee's for a BBQ and swimming. There were much fewer numbers than usually, but was still a great time. Then Trevor and I found a great new place to see Lagoon's fireworks right by our house! It turned out to be a pretty good spot, free of crowds, and close to home! Saturday night was a Sowell Family BBQ that unfortunately we were not able to stay long to cause Trevor had to work. Sorry Lindsey and the whole Sowell family! It was nice to see you all!

Well that's the past few weeks in a crammed nut shell! I'll post again when we get back for Island Park! (ps, the picture at our header is from Island Park!)
