Story Time With Daddy...

Trent reading Cinderella to Evelyn before her nap on Sunday. I peeked in to see how it was going and just had to snap a photo. You know me...I can't resist any cute moment. He is so cute with her. And a wonderful husband and daddy.

Adorable Isn't It??

I went all out yesterday in dressing Evelyn for church. This is one of the reasons Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I always look forward to dressing her. She needed some new church dresses. So, we went to Old Navy they were having a sale. And we found this getup. So stinking cute. I love the tutu skirt. Anyways I couldn't help but share it with you. You can tell from the picture she is pretty proud of it as well. Girls sure are fun to shop for and dress.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Chirstmas!!

I finally got up some Christmas decorations. My favorite thing to put up is my Department 56 North Pole village. Thanks to Camille and my mom I have a collection started. It was fun putting up the tree as well. We got a pretty good one this year. Thanks to Ty & Annie and Trent's parents for chopping it down for us. Evelyn is loving looking at all the fun Christmas stuff.

My New Friend...

This is Evelyn's new best friend elephant Rosebud. She now sleeps with him every night. Along with a Stawberry Shortcake blanket. That my friend I worked with from Kiddie Kandids gave to us. Thanks Katie...they are both a big hit.

SiX MonTHs AlReAdy!!

Hard to believe Evelyn turned six months today. I always heard from other moms that it goes by fast. Now I truely know what they mean by that. It seems it was just yesturday they pulled her out of my tummy...and now here we are. It is so fun to see her progress all the time. Oh ya and for the record we have gone through 2,259+ diapers. We have been keeping track since we brought her home from the hospital.

BiRThdAY CeLebRatiON

Today was my 24th birthday..so I am feeling so old. Even though it was on Sunday we made it fun. After church we headed to Fairview, UT. My mom was there on a scrapbooking trip. We met up at the house she was staying at and ate a great dinner my mom made. Thanks for making my birthday special mom. Trent gave me the most awesome gift....all 4 seasons of the Office...oh yah. Thats my honey! We bought the first 3 seasons last year at Costco, but they didn't work. I was sad to return them, to find they were sold out. So it was a great surprise to get them back plus the forth season. I am so in love with that show. I know what I will be doing daily now.

I had my camera..and well you can tell what happened next. Here are the photos. She is one of my favorite things to photograph.

The Cutest Pumpkin In Town!!

Well, our Halloween was a blast. When Trent got off work we ate pizza and put Evelyn in her costume. Which was a great find. $7 thank you eBay. I was not about to pay $40 for a tiny baby costume. It was really comfy for her and kept her warm. Even though it wasn't very cold up here today. Evelyn watched her cousins Lucy & Abby trick or treat at some houses close to ours. Then we went home and put Evelyn to bed. It was the funnest Halloween I have ever had. It is much funner when you have a little one to dress up.

Leaves, Leaves, & More Leaves:)

There were so many leaves on the ground at the park. That we couldn't resist so see what Evelyn would do in them. We had lots of fun. She can sit by herself now for about 1-2 minutes at a time. It is very exciting. She is getting to be so big.

OuR HaLLowEen PrEP

We carved our pumkins today. It was lots of fun. This is one of my favorite things to do at Halloween. Mine is the far left, Evelyn's in the middle. (if you can't tell she has pacifier for a mouth)Trent's on the right, love the grin. I have never been the biggest Halloween fan. In fact I used to hate it. I love the cutsie stuff about it and HATE all the scary gross stuff. A haunted house I went to in 4th grade changed everything. We lived in Pinetop AZ at the time and the 6th graders were putting on a haunted house in a classroom. Everyone was talking about it for weeks..so excited right? Any kid would be!! We anxiously lined up in the hall with our 50 cents to get in. The first part wasn't that scary to me. But, as I kept going...I couln't help but be scared. It was like this crazy maze. I didn't really have any friends around me. To hang on to or anything. Towards the end I came upon these loose boards you have to walk across. When..all of the sudden someone...or something had grabbed my ancle and wouldn't let go. I saw a face come up as well...I was SO SCARED!! I grabbed on to some boy in my class and we were both trying to get out of there ASAP. I ended up bawling when I got out. Never again did I go to another haunted house...and probably won't ever again in my lifetime. So there you have it the story that scarred me. Thanks to the stupid 6th grader who ruined me...lol. This is probably also the reason I don't do scary movies. Intense I love but not scary. I was about to cry in the theater when I saw "I am Legend" with Trent. I think about them way to long after...in my dreams also. So, I am curious if you are like me or love to be scared. Let me know!!

My Five Month Photo Shoot

The Alpine Loop

On Sunday we wanted to get out and have always wanted to take the Alpine Loop drive. Up Provo Canyon. We only made it half way. But, I wanted to share some photos I got. I really love the fall colors and take photos whenever I get the chance. This isn't the best ones of me. I still am fighting to lose the baby weight. I never knew it would be so tough. Trent always looks so handsome. I am a very lucky girl. My favorite is the one of Evelyn smiling so big though. She is getting more fun every day.

David Archuleta Corn Maze!!

We headed with our ward to Thanksgiving Point to go in the David Archuleta corn maze. I guess they cut it to look like his face this year. Trent is almost always working when the ward is doing something, so we never get to go. However this night he was free. I was kind of depressed I thought the real David would be there...I am a big fan. He is so cute. Trent just laughs at me. It was fun..but I wouldn't recommend bringing a young baby. It was Evelyns bedtime and her hunger bell was going to ring any second. It was very confusing and Trent wanted to take the time to figure it out. But, I was just so stressed (hence my messed bangs) I didn't want to get lost and then have Evelyn lose it. So...Thank You Emergency Exit. We took it and we walked right to our car. We headed home. It was still fun to be the ward that night. We took turns holding her. This is her new coat we just bought her at Baby Gap. I got it on sale...NO I can't afford to shop there. LOL

Photos From Grammy's Camera

I love this photo of Evelyn and me. I think we look alike. And the close up of her face with her little hand.

Taking Care Of Business...

Evelyn on Grammy's couch...doing what she does best. Filling her diaper with...I bet you can guess? Poop, you can just tell by the look on her face. What babies do best. We had lots of fun with Grammy taking photos of her. I got all the way to Logandale and forgot my camera. Never had that happen. Its usually the first thing I pack...that changed since Evelyn came. I guess that is the mommy brain in me.

HiLARiouS!!

I have been wanting to post about this for a few weeks now. I am a member of Golds Gym. I love working out both mentally and physically. I try to make it there every day for at least an hour. That is if Trent and Evelyn allow me to. I go to this power pump class every Wed. night at 9:00. It is packed...you have to be there by at least 8:45 to get in line to get into the class. There is a hip hop class right before and the second it gets out we open the door. In order to participate in the class the following happens. 1) You run and throw down some personal belongings (ex. phone) on the floor to save a spot. 2)You run and get the equipment...first weights cause they go the fastest. 3) If you get all the equipment you need and what you desired...you feel pretty dang special. I went there twice and walked all the way back to get my weights everything was gone..to late. Felt pretty dumb and mad that I couldn't do the class. Girls are so funny when it comes to things like this. I told Trent I wish he could see me and all the other girls in action. This class is so packed because its so good. The teacher is amazing and has the perfect barbie body. We all hope she can magically change ours at every class. So if you are planning on going to this class..be prepared to be early and have the adrenaline going way before you actually start. Its a full hour of lifting weights and will rock your whole body and kick your butt.

Leaning Tower Of Evelyn

I just had to post about this...everytime we put Evelyn in her bouncer now, this is what happens. She just wants to lean forward and sit up. She hates to sit back and gets mad when you try to make her. I decited that I always have way too many posts to put up. Cause I can't stop taking photos of my cute little Evelyn. You probably got that vibe already. Hope nobody thinks I have blogger ADHD or something.

Solid Food Here I Come...

We started to feed Evelyn rice cereal this week. It was hard for her to swollow any at first, but she does pretty good with it now. It is great for mom because it keeps her fuller longer at night...less feedings. I love this little booster seat chair we got. She fits in it great.

Four Months Today!!

Can you believe it our little Evelyn is 4 months old?? She is growing up so fast..we can't believe how much she can do now. Lately she has been so verbal and fun to play with. She has been sleeping almost 12 hours a night and really squirmy during her bath. She also hates to sit back while propped up. So we set up this bounce toy for her, she just leans forward. But, she is still a little too small for it. Every week gets more fun with her. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
