I Am Still Here. . .

Hello,
It has been a while: ok a long time: Lots of stuff going on with us right now...
-We are currently going through Clark County to get our house built and guess what.....its going nowhere and now we have to go to a bunch of meetings to allow us to still build with the shop here!! ugh. We get to go to a meeting this Wed. Wish us luck.
-Whirly Pear Photography is no more. I am currently trying to come up with a new logo, business name, and website!! I am also changing what I will specialize in. I am trying to do more Fairytale like sessions for girls. I did a fun Model Call Giveaway and can't wait to take those sessions!! Wish me luck on my new adventure!!
-Evelyn is currently involved in clogging and ballet. She adores both but is really busy!! She writes her own stories every day and she also loves reading and math.
-Lyla is still Lyla. She wants to bring stuffed animals to school every day and she is very sensitive and cries often. She is struggling with reading and second grade work, but is now getting reading glasses so I think that will help her a lot:) She is really smart....she just needs to believe in herself. She also loves dance!!
-Hudson is still not full on talking but gets better every day!! He loves to be outside more than ever and wants to play on the WII pad or a phone constantly. But we monitor that!! He isn't showing any signs of potty training yet. I sure love him!! Him and I have fun while the girls are at school.
-Trent is always busy with many projects. He is trying to his blue truck (the Ghost) running again. It has been sitting for a few years. He is also busy trying to get our plans through the county.
** House planning has been hard and challenging....I think I have aged 5 years...haha.

Life Is So Busy. ..

Ok so I am feeling rather guilty that I don't do enough to preserve my little families history. I need to catch up the the baby books, take more photos of my kids with my nice camera, and document on here.
So here I am. . .
Here is a weekly 10 update:
1) We just retook some family photos I wasn't in love with ours from November so, I made everyone do it again. Rod, Camille, and Taryn helped us out.
2) Trent and I have both been shedding some pounds and it feels great. We are eating less processed foods and more fruits and veggies....so much more energy. It feels good like we are on a team together.
3) We are still working on house plans but home to be done soon. We have started over three times. But, we want to make sure its right. We have also sized way down!! Feels great!! And the barn is knocked down and getting hauled away as we speak....wahoo!! I have waited 5 years for that!! We hope to break ground on our house the next year. Can't wait. This 1400 square feet feels pretty cramped sometimes. And the one bathroom is killing us....but we will have to make it work until we move.
4) Hudson turns one this month and I can hardly bare it.....so sad but yet so exciting. He keeps me on my toes, I don't know what I would do without him in my life. He completes me and our cute family so well. He cut his first tooth this week and is starting to walk. He also still loves to nurse.
5) Lyla has come out of her shy shell this year and I sure am proud of her for that. She even punched a kid in the face that had her pinned down....or so she says...every day she gives stuff in my house away to others. What a sweetheart.
She can also be very hardheaded and not go potty for hours.
6) Evelyn is thriving in school and loves every minute of it. She is in love with reading and math. She can read 135 words a minute and the average for second graders is 80. At least that is what her report card said. She has lost 2 teeth and is my big helper. She makes her lunch by herself every day and is very responsible. Her and Lyla get along...and then they don't !!
7) I am staying busy with these 3 kids, and wife duty. I love it but sometimes get so overwhelmed with life and the tasks that it requires me to do. I started teaching my Pilates class back in Jan. at our church building and it is pretty stinking sweet. So relaxed there and I love that class can be free. Pilates completes me and makes me so happy. It is very fun having something to do for just me again. I have also been busy with photos here and there. I truly love it, but making time for it all is tricky!!
8) We got a new sectional the other day that we love!! I mean really love. Trent sleeps about 3 hours on it every night.
9) Trent and his Mustang are one big happy family together!! It is pretty slick looking and he is one proud owner. He is just finishing up with the stereo and seat belts right now.
10) We have finally been saving for our house and it feels great. Saving makes you feel in control and is so powering. I am convinced I have the best hubby in the world and he is so hardworking for our family!! The kids adore him so...

Poor Blog...

I have seriously really forgotten and neglected my blog...poor blog. I am trying to remember the days when I made the time to blog whole pages full of our Leavitt life.
Three kids has really been a hard adjustment for me. But, I truly am grateful for our little Hudson joining our family, even if it wasn't in my timing. We are so blessed to have our 3 kids.
Some things lately:
Hudson- He is almost crawling and wants to explore everything. The other day he fell off my bed and I felt like the worst mom in the universe, also I cried a lot. Luckily he missed our dresser and landed without hurting himself. I really don't think I could have any more love for that little dark headed boy. He is so good and so much fun to have. Champion of nursing!!
Lyla- Oh I love her when she is sweet but so much of the time right now is spent prodding her along and trying to get her to do anything I ask. It is fit throwing central around here. And she is the slowest moving human being in the world. The slowest, always right when we have to be somewhere...haha. But, she is the sweetest most thoughtful little person when it comes to others and their feelings. Yesterday Evelyn stayed home from school with a little cold and Lyla asked if she could stay home just to take care of Evelyn. She also loves to watch the show Chopped and become a chef.
Evelyn - She is my biggest and best helper with anything I need. She and I are really getting along well. Which gives me hope for Lyla and I in the future. lol Evelyn was hard as a kindergartner as well. She loves to read and spell out everything. Mom can I have a a-p-p-l-e  p-l-e-a-s-e....etc. Sometimes I just ask her to say the sentence instead of spell it out. She loves dance and so does Lyla. Shae Dalley is a fun teacher and they enjoy the syle of dance she does. It is good for them to get out and do something ya know.
Trent- Oh how I love and adore that man. He is the hardest worker to support our family and I am so grateful for the love he shows his family on a daily basis. He is also very smart and his 1967 Ford Mustang is almost completely done. Wow, I never thought I would be able to type out those words. lol
Myself- I am running around like a crazy person most of the time. Trying to take care of everyone and their needs and get everyone fed and to where they need to go. I can't believe how busy life is now. I am also swamped with photo sessions and editing. It is hard, but I also enjoy it. I am also itching to get back into Pilates and teach again which isn't what I thought I ever wanted to do again. But I love teaching and working out in a group setting. It really pushes me so much!!
We are getting our house plans drawn up right now and hope to start building in the next year. HOPE !!

Back to School

The girls are now in school which means Lyla is a big kindergartner! I was nervous that she would be scared to go but she hasn't skipped a beat. Man does that girl love it. She loves Mrs. Cameron and riding the bus, even if she is on the bus for moors than an hour.
Evelyn is a big second grader who told me "second graders don't cry about anything", when I asked her if she cried when a boy stepped on her big toenail and made her limp around for a day. Haha she loves making her lunches all by herself as well.
Hudson is one big boy now, he fits only in 6 month clothes and is getting to be one solid, chubby dude. He loves his solid food and is such a good baby boy. We love him so!!
Trent is still hard at with his Mustang, it is getting closer to really being done. He also recently certified with his teachers in scuba diving and said it was pretty cool, they went camping and diving one weekend.
I am not up to much, trying to do photography when I can. We are still hard at it with our house plans!! We were getting close to being done but our plan was getting to be so big!! So we made the decision to start over, we are sizing down a ton!! It is pretty stressful. But I know will be worth it someday!

Hudson't First ER Trip.. . And More. . .

Last night was one of the longest nights ever!! Around 7 pm Hudson started really hacking and it go so bad in the middle of the night. I was terrified!! I have never had a kid with croup before, and I really didn't know what to expect or do.
Thankfully I talked to my sister in law who is a nurse. And my mother in law came to our home at 3am to watch our other girls. And Lyla is sick too. I don't know how we ever survived without our parents sometimes. One other thing I am very sure of, I am married to the best man in the whole wide world. Who is so thoughtful and will do anything and everything for his kids and myself!!
So Trent and I put Hudson in the car and drove up to St. George, after a breathing treatment, filling a prescription, and buying a cool mist humidifier he has shown so much improvement!!
Hudson also got a hair cut and it looks adorable, helps with the huge bald spot he has on the back of his cute head.
The girls are ready for school and start Monday. I can't believe I will have 2 in school and that Lyla will be in Kindergarten!! I am excited for them to go together.
I have made the decision to be  child/newborn photographer, I have been busy with newborns and seriously love it. I feel like I can really shine with kid sessions. Love love it!!

Lately...

-We have been up to a lot lately. we finally started our house plans woohoo!! I can't wait to see how it looks drawn up.
-Hudson is getting so big he is now 2 months old. Poor little guy had to get shots yesterday and he weighs 12 pounds and has eczema and acid reflux.
-Evelyn turned seven and Trent turns 30 3 weeks ago and we had a fun joint birthday for them at the church pavilion. I was slacking on being photographing this year because of Hudson.
-Lyla is registered for kindergarten and is so excited to go. I thought I would wait to send her the whole year but then I really prayed about it and got a different answer.
-Thank goodness for my Dad I hurt my neck so bad Nursing and taking care of Hudson. he's trying to help me get back to normal but I cannot move today. laying around pick me up Hudson moving at all is so painful. I really don't know what I would do without him he is a good chiropractor.
-My parents have only one more month in their house before they move. They are short selling their house because it's too big and too expensive for them. Luckily they get to stay in their old ward and I'm the same street. But they're still sad to leave.
-I have really missed doing photo sessions and being involved in photography. I just can't find any time with Hudson. I'm not complaining though I love that little man he is so much fun and such a blessing in my life.
-Trent is so close to being done with his Mustang hallelujah woohoo yes can't wait!!

I Love Being A Photographer!!
