Well, where do I start? I guess, about the middle of March.
We had two funerals this month. The first was one of Trents Young Men that died with complications from Mono. It was really sad. We miss having Jordan around, stopping by the house and entertaining the kids and their transformer addiction.
The second was Trents Grandma. She was 97, and had lived a great life. Her body could no longer keep up with her spirit.
My nephew was blessed on Sunday. It was a neat time to be with family. He is such a little sting bean sweetheart.
My cousin was married in Lake Tahoe, But we had a family reception to meet his wife and get to know her family. It was a nice event, and another fun reason to get together. Along with a baby shower for another cousin. They are about to have their first baby, and boy are we all excited. He will be a cutie! He just needs to decide that NOW is the time to make his appearance. Good luck Lauz and Beau! We have also done a lot of hanging out, playing, and just relaxing. I have started doing 'stations' with my kids in the morning before port goes to school, and they love it. I just set up 3 different areas; ie... puzzles, coloring, letters, rhyming, computer learning games, sorting, and other activities, and then they spend 15 min. at each station, then rotate. It is fun and breaks up the morning. I have done it for about 3 weeks now, and I need more ideas, so probably time to hit the internet. If you have any ideas, let me know.
Then I spend a lot of time chasing cache and trying to maintain damages. He is our very own wrecking crew! But OHHHH, we love him.
Reese found Grandmas make up.
Family bowling. Yes, Holly won by a landslide, and proceeded to kick our trash in Hand and foot that night. Of course it was beginners luck! She says!? :)
My little sister Kristy and her son Ethan flew in, so we spent a few days at my moms with them. We rallied the troops, skipped school and went to the zoo! It was a lot of fun! The kids all have a blast together.
A few spring fires in the backyard, providing dinner of hotdogs, and marshmallows. Always delicious and not very nutritious.
We were feeling a spring vibe for a minute, so we did hair cuts.
So I guess this is a little about what we have been doing. Life is always an adventure around here. Stay tuned. :)

Nine years later...
Who can see so far down the road that they have nine year plans? It sure would have been fun, on our wedding day nine years ago, to see where we are today. Nine years full of everything that makes us who we are. Nine, the subject of this post. Nine things that have happened over the past nine years.
1. Moved 8 times
2. Lived in a mortuary for a year. We have lots of funny, scary, nerve racking, and memorable stories.
3. Had 4 kids in under 5 years. Boy their cute!
4. Both graduated from college. Amy: BS in health promotion, with Health Administration emphasis
Trent: BS Accounting
5. Lost a father. Trents dad died of cancer. We sure miss him!
6. Traveled quite a bit, both in the country and out. Travel is something we both enjoy, and enjoy doing as a family.
7. We were the proud owners of 4 horses for a couple years. We spent a lot of our early getaway's in the mountains with the horses. Sugar, Kosar, Peekaboo, and Skittles. We would pack them and go for long weekends. Many memories.
8. We had strengthened both family and friend relationships. Relationships and memories that will be carried with us forever.
9. I married my best friend, and who could ask for more than that? We have been through ups and downs, thick and thin. We have had our share of arguments and disagreements. We are both stubborn and confident in our views, yet we have learned and grown so much over the years that we know when to push issues, and when to let them go. When you begin to think alike, notice the same things, and an expression or glance tells you volumes about the others thoughts, you know you understand each other, and years of misunderstanding, and confusion have brought you to where you are today. I am grateful to Trent for all he does for me. He is my perfect companion. I look forward to sharing eternity with him. I know it won't be boring, and we will definitely be learning and growing, perfection is a process, right. But the best promise is that we get to do it together. Happy Anniversary to my better half! I love you!

Porters a good driver...
We spent the afternoon at my aunts the other day and Becca and Rach took the boys out on the toboggan behind the snowmobile. Well, after a while Rach comes in and says wow, porter is a good driver. Me, slightly alarmed, What?
He can drive the snowmobile really good. He had convinced Becca and Rachel that he was a really good driver and could drive THEM around. So I went out and sure enough, this is what I found.
Well, he must have had an angel, I don't know many 5 year olds that can drive a full size snow mobile and pull a toboggan. We sure had a great time, and the kids can't wait to go back. Thanks for a great day girls!
In response to comments. I must add... The end of the video ended in a little stress, as porter was continuing full speed toward the gate, and since you can't hear a thing when you are on a snowmobile, I was a little nervous. But don't you worry. He had it all under control. Just as he was about 6 feet from the fence he completely released the throttle, and stopped. Wow. He IS a good driver.

Clean up leads to messes...
I had my house completely clean and was looking forward to a day of floor play with the kids and maybe even park, or something fun on this nice day... Well, we had a bit of toilet trouble. Reese is quite independent and overindulgent when it comes to the toilet paper. No pictures, it wasn't pretty. So as I was cleaning up one bathroom the next had become the target of sabotage. So I confined Reese to the shower and resumed clean up, only to be interrupted by Reese's disturbing, hysterical laughter. I slowly made my way to the bathroom, and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I can deal with this...
After snapping a couple photos and convincing porter that it wasn't a good idea (showering in his clothes), I finished cleaning the mess and put jams on the 2 hooligans.
