Additional January stuff...

We spent a weekend in West Yellowstone with family. It was a lot of fun. Games, movies, sledding, puzzle, sledding down stairs, coloring, ice fishing, good food, and always good company.

January blur

No, this is not refering to the recent weather we have been experiencing. I can't believe we are in the last week of January.
Our little Cache just turned 1.
This, turned into

This WAY too Quick!

We had a great birthday. We did presents, pizza for dinner; one of Caches favorite meals, Then we did a pinata. That was like heaven falling with every swing. Cache was crawling around collecting candy as fast as his little body could go. I think at one point he had 5 suckers in his mouth and hands. But hey, it was his birthday, so I just let him at it.
Then we did cake, and he wasn't all that sure how to approach an individual 8" cake. At first he was timid, then he got a little on his spoon, then he dove in. He loved it. Kael and Port even got a little of the cake action after Cache had at it for a good 45 minutes.

It was a fun day, and we are so grateful for a healthy happy baby! We love you Cache.

All Things December

I am just realizing the fact that the holidays are over and we have to get back to real life now. No more weekday vacations, over- eating, late night game playing, wii competitions, pomegranates, pine scent, nightly parties. Everyone has gone home and the party fest has ended. I keep telling myself this, but it is hard to actually grasp. I love how the holidays create an easy reason to get together for good food and fun. Cheers to a fabulous year.
This is also my new years post of toasts.
Cheers to wonderful family, we are blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people and have such strong ties with each of you.
Cheers to new years resolutions that keep us moving forward to a better self in different areas of our lives.
Cheers to the small things that happen each day that refocus us on the purpose of why we do what we do.
Cheers to the memories we create as we step outside our comfort zone and challenge our boundaries.
Cheers to the little people in our life that bring us so much joy.
Cheers to good friends that give encouragement and share laughter.
Cheers to a wonderful husband that embraces the 'work hard, play hard' motto; providing for, as well as making time for family.
Cheers to a past year of challenges and growth, as well as fun and excitement.
Cheers to a new year full of surprises and unknown, may we look forward to each day with eager anticipation and a happy heart.
Cheers.
