Camping and fishing the easy way
We have really wanted to get out camping this summer and for some reason can't quite make it. So we planned ahead and decided to just do it easy! We went to Grandma Craguns house! We cooked Hot dogs, and S'mores, and then watched a little Dora Movie. Then the boys slept in the tent, and I stayed inside with Reese so she would actually get some sleep. Then on Saturday we got up and had a great breakfast, french toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, juice, and fruit... EASY CLEAN-UP, load the dishwasher. Then we went to the Trout Farm! Great fishing, the kids catch them on their own. They would get so excited, and after they caught a few, they just wanted to play with the ones in the bucket. Reese would just wonder the grounds with grandma in tow. They clean and fillet the fish right there for you. Now that is fishin'. The boys were so excited to have their trout for dinner saturday night. We had a great weekend! Thanks Grandma Cragun for playing with us!
Independent girl
Prior to Movie night Thursday We had eaten dinner and I got the boys in the tub, and ran in to finish up a few dishes. I knew Reese had gone into the bathroom, but knew the boys would not put her in the tub in her clothes. But My mind hadn't even thought about her getting in on her own. She had pulled the potty stool over to the tub and climbed on in. I walked in shortly after and found her this way. Originally I was scolding the boys to not put her in without me in the bathroom, and with clothes on?... but then... I saw the stool. Needless to say, the stool has a new home.

Bubble Trouble...
So last night we got the kids in the tub, and I put about 1/4 tsp or bubbles in the jetted tub... knowing that when the jets come on, it magnifies by about 500%. Well, dad came home and sat by the tub for a minutes and next thing I hear is 'grab the camera'. So I went running in and this is what I found. I am sure someone had to have added more bubble to produce this outcome, but noone would confess. But it made for some fun pictures anyway.
Sunday dress... for a minute
As all you moms well know, Sunday clothes don't look all that good after oh... 10 minutes or so. So I decided to grab a few shots of them before it all went to pot this past Sunday. Although if you will notice how special it is that Porter ate like 3 airheads right before the picture (while I was taking Kaels). Thus the stained green and blue teeth and mouth. So, I guess 10 minutes is in actuality an exaggeration.
Sundance
We had a fantastic evening on Saturday night. We left the kids with a babysitter at my sisters house and she and my parents and little brother blake, trent and I; went to dinner at Market Street. YUMMY!!! Then we continued to Sundance for a 10 year celebration concert of Peter Brienholt. It was so much fun. I had my camera at dinner and didn't take a pic. But took a few at the concert. It was a lot of fun.

First day of School...
The kids went to Preschool for the first time today. They had a great time. Porter said he loved playing with the plastic animals and paints, and Kael loved the playdough, the class turtle and guinea pig. They are getting way to big. In fact, I had a very unexpected emotion to them going to school, as I was driving away to go to the grocery store, my eyes got all watery, and I felt sad to leave my little side kicks behind. However it was amazing the difference in the speed of my grocery store visit, which made me feel a little better.
Kael, before class, prepared with back pack, with show and tell in it, and another bag with a change of clothes in it, just in case the kids get dirty, muddy, or wet during outside fun.
Porter, all ready to walk into class. He was very excited.
As soon as we got home the kids wanted to go through their backpacks, but I needed the 'after' picture too. It was a great day.
Kael, going through his bag, and just to his right is Porter doing the same thing. They wanted to show, me, as well as each other, the things that they had done at school.
Labor day
Snowbird
The kids and I went up to Snowbird with my mom last week. We had a great time, and did a lot of playing, actually, I am pretty sure that is all that we did. We did everything there was to do up there; Alpine slide, Zip line, Bungee Tramp, Tram, Peruvian lift and Tunnel, Hiking, and Blow up toys.
Porter and Kael loved the trampoline. They would have jumped all day long.
The kids got in the hot tub on the deck every night. And of course, so did the Ninja Turtles.
The Tunnel was pretty cool. It will be a conveyer belt in the winter to exchange skiers between the two sides of the mountain, just in case the one side isn't enough.:)
We went on a great hike to Cecret Lake. It was 2 miles round trip. The boys did great. But it is a good thing that Reese brought her Sherpa, cause all she would do was elastic legs when we tried to get her to walk. Grammy, what a woman!
