Crazy busy!

I don't have much to say. Right now I am at Aaron and Jen's watching the girls while they are out celebrating their anniversary. I haven't blogged cuz over the last 3 weeks I have worked almost 80 hours of overtime. Needless to say I am exhausted! I am looking forward to being home next week. Happy holidays all!

I can't believe I am going to do it again....

I have committed to doing another sprint Triathlon. It is an all women tri. My friend Dixie who is a personal trainer has put a group of girls together to train for this thing. So, Allyson (who is Dixie's sister and the reason I even know about this), their other sisters Dana and Jenny and a few other women are going to start training next month. Other than Dixie and Jenny...we are all thick (thanks Allyson for that word instead of the wonderful word fat) girls! I am really excited. Dixie is going to give us each personalized training schedules. Here is a link to the info for the triathlon.

It is November...

And I have yet to post. So here is it my first November post.

Work - crazy busy week this past week. We had to move from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. It wasn't fun! I still have to completely clean up our space on the 2nd floor this week. But I did have 8 hours of OT. That isn't so bad!

Now this week I have to get myself moved. I am moving about a mile or so north of where I am now. I am moving in with a friend of some friends. I just can't afford to live alone anymore and I am sad! I love living alone but it will be fine to have a roommate again.

End of an Era

For those of you die hard Cat fans you already know but Lute Olsen retired today. He is no longer the head coach of the University of Arizona Wildcat Basketball team. I am sad but excited to see what the change will bring. I will be a die hard fan no matter what! I am a wildcat forever!!!!!!!!

In other news, work has been extremely busy. But due to the current economic conditions, 6 people from my office were given their 60 day walking papers today. 4 of those 6 were managers. It was quite the shock to most. Because of my position, I knew two weeks ago. And for now my job is safe. Apparently I am rather indispensable. Not a bad thing at all.

I am going to get to go down to Tucson this weekend. I am excited to just be home with the family. I have spent the last 18 months feeling like I am drowning and I am finally starting to get a little bit of fresh air. Not alot of fresh air yet...but at taste at least!

Um let's see...my friend Heather has had her first round of chemo and has some good days and of course some bad! Her bone scans came back clear so the only cancer is in her right breast! I was hoping to get there soon but dang...money sucks!

Linda - thanks for the sweet comment. I will try to do better and blog more often. I just think my life is rather boring. Thanks for the sweet blog about our Dan. And yes that was me holding Holman.

I feel so unworthy of the family I have. I have been a horrible example and not the best older sister and thank heavens my siblings are smarter and better than I will ever be.

8 random things...only cuz dad made me

1. I clean my ears with qtips at least once everyday.

2. I am addicted to my phone. I know that may not come as surprise to anyone but the first step is admitting it right.

3. I don't like clothes. You will almost always find me at home in my "angel panties" (that is what Jolene calls them).

4. I still love the part of cookie batter when there is just butter and sugar.

5. Sometimes I wish I wasn't the oldest.

6. I still try to change my route to work so that the mafia won't follow me. (thanks dad!)

7. Sometimes I wish I could back to my mission and stay as a missionary forever. Life was a less selfish kind of hard.

8. I don't like to follow the rules.

Saturday night

I am home just watching TV...typical saturday night for me and wilbur.

Here is a website that has been started my friend Heather that was just diagnosed with breast cancer. She is an amazing girl. If you don't get a chance to read it here is just what I think makes her amazing. She has great long dark naturally curly hair. Since she will lose it all during chemo, she cut it today to donate it to locks of love! In her sad time she is thinking of others! She is amazing!

Anyways...that is my update this fine cool Saturday night. I actually have the windows open i my apartment and it is 70 degrees! I love it!

So sad...

I heard from my old roommate Jen that live up in Colorado. She told me that Heather, my sweet friend and wife of Eldon, was diagnosed with breast cancer today. She just had a baby boy in August and has two sweet little girls too. Jen didn't know huge details other than chemo will start soon. So...please say a prayer or two for them. I am so sad... Gotta get to Denver...may sell my soul for the money to get there....

Nothing new

Well...I don't have much to report. I am just up here in good ole Mesa working at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and hanging out at home. I am putting Jer and Linda's old treadmill to some use in my living room. I occasionally get to hang with some good friends from my ward. Like I said...not much new here.

Still not so good at this blogging thing...

Quite obvious huh! I am not dead. I am just lazy. I am spending most of my free time these days watching whatever Olympics I can find on TV or that are on my DVR. I LOVE THE OLYPMICS! I love it all just like Aaron. That is about it!

It is yet another Monday morning and I am getting ready to head to work. It was great to be home this weekend and spend time with the family. The girl sleepover (with baby Dan being the only boy) brought together the 22 women in the family and it was great fun! I feel blessed to have been there for Dan's ordination. He really is such a tender hearted and wonderful little duder! More fun to come this weekend! Off to earn the big bucks!

It's been less than a month!

So I am not so great at this blogging thing. It takes me a month between entries! So, let me give a brief run down of the last month of my life...

um...really, the only thing other than going to Tucson alot is....I am a real full time employee of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage now! No more temporary status! It is great! I am not making what I was making at my previous job but I am extremely happy! I work with a great bunch of people! I am considering getting a part time to make up for the lost money and to keep busy. I doubt I will end of doing it just cuz I like my free time even if a bulk of it is spent at home just me and Wilbur.

I do have a some really great friends up here that I spend at least 2 evenings a week with. They are a great family and have really taken in this lonely girl!

A day (year) late and a dollar (or more) short!

So as most of you know, I am one of those people that have to learn things the hard way and do things my way.

That said, Henry and I are finally completely over. It took an intervention of sorts but it happened. I couldn't be happier! I am grateful for the things I learned about myself over the last year.

I am looking forward to finding me again and being truly happy!

I am extremely grateful for patient and loving family and friends!

Sunday

I just got back from being in Tucson for the weekend. It was nice to be home!

I also just saw that I am suppose to come up with my top five things I want! That will take me a few days!

Another Monday Evening!

It is another Monday evening home with Wilbur! Had a long work day and am grateful to be home sitting on the couch watching some tv and drinking my beloved caffine free diet dr. pepper! (I quit drinking caffine again!) It was nice being home this weekend and seeing almost everyone (missed you A & J and girls!) I am excited to come home again this weekend.

Taxes!

I HATE TAXES! I finally did my taxes and I owe $3,434!! No way I can pay that in one payment! I hate it! Anyone want to lend me the money and get interest instead of me giving our wonderful government the interest!

Thursday night 11pm!

I can't sleep but I need to! The alarm goes off at 545am and I need some shut eye! But since I can't sleep here is a brief update of my life....

Work - It appears that I will be taking over the position of the person I have been assisting. She isn't so happy about it but it seems management is extremely impressed with me. So, hopefully the announcement of the change will happen soon so that the ackwardness will be out there! I am really truly excited! The site manager to whom I will be his admin assistant is also a member which is really nice! So wish me luck in my new adventure. Hopefully within the next 6 weeks I will be made permanent too!

Henry - So, it appears we will be getting engaged the next time I visit (which will be no later than May 12th)! I realize it seems odd that I know about it ahead of time but given our situation, it is what it is. I also have had a realization recently that the reason most of you have ill feelings towards Henry is because of seeing my heartbreak at times and my complaining. I must say that Henry has never done anything directly to me to hurt me. And lately he has been nothing but wonderful. He truly has the biggest heart. I am not very easy to date...actually I am a crazy girl in a romantic relationship. He is so forgiving and just truly loves me for who I am. Together he and I haven't made the best decisions but we are working on fixing those decisions. I pray that each of you will give him a chance and that sooner than later you will be able to see what I see in him.

Wilbur - He is wonderful! He is the best!

Family - More patient than I deserve! Love them ALL! Hope that somehow I can be a better person and example!

Easter Sunday

This is the first Easter since my mission that I can remember not being home. I could have gone down after church today but wasn't feeling up to it so, I planned to just stay home and eat cereal or something. Well, a good friend in the ward wouldn't let me have cereal so she invited me to her parents home which happens to be my bishop's home. It was nice. It was sorta like being home. It is was good to see other families that also have random conversations and say things to embarrass each other! Of course being home would have been better but this worked.

Home

So it is saturday night and I have had a long last 36 hours. I surprised Henry and showed up in NV at his graduation last night. I was glad to be there and see the end of a long 4 days short of 8 months process. He is staying there to work for 6 months to be over a year sober when he comes home. This experience is not something I signed up for and many days I want to quit. But I love him and can't seem to let go. Keep us in your prayers.

Yet another Monday!

Happy end of Monday! For FHE tonight I am unpacking, watching tv I missed while away, making my picks for basketball and that's about it!

Had a good trip to be with Henry. Hating leaving him again! I hope to head back soon!

So tired!

Greetings all! It is currently Thursday evening and I am super tired! But it a night of some of my favorite tv! Survivor and Lost and even a good ole CATS game! What could be better?!? I could be in Tucson having dumpcake with my dad for his birthday that's what!

I am heading to see Henry for the weekend tomorrow morning. It will be good to be with him for a few days again.

Wilbur is being lovingly cared for by two different friends over the weekend. I am rather nuerotic about his care as we all know but I got it all covered!

Tuesday!

Well, it is a Tuesday evening and I am home for a night of TV with Wilbur! Exiting life huh! Oh and I am doing laundry! Even more exciting!

Monday Evening

Well, I have just returned home from my day at the office and a stop to get a pedicure. I must admit that I am excited for the girls in the family to blog to keep in touch. I never thought I would get it this but it will be fun! I am off to grocery shop, my least favorite thing. It isn't so fun when you are just shopping for yourself and Wilbur!

I did it too!

I didn't wanna do it but Linda said it wouldn't be the same without me! Not sure I agree but here it is!
