It's Been a while

So...it has been a while....since I posted last I spent almost 4 weeks in AZ and 9 days in Denver! I have applied for jobs in Tucson and in Scottsdale. I would like to get back to AZ because I really miss the family. I have a phone interview for the Scottsdale job on Wednesday (1/26 at 1:30 CST). They filled the Tucson job without even giving me a chance...oh well! I have declared this year the year of me! I am planning to do things I have always wanted to and needed to do. One of those things is get braces...i will be getting them on February 7th. Crazy I know but something that has been needed for a long time! So it is time! I am also making small changes each day to hopefully shed some lbs and get to a healthier place in my life. It is a hard thing to do when living alone! I am hoping to plan a cruise and trip to disneyland. I would also like to go to Florida to visit some friends there! I have 7 weeks of vacation and plan to use it all!

1 year anniversary in Minneapolis

It's hard to believe that 365 days ago dad and I arrived here in Minneapolis! My how time flies! Sure I spent mid May to mid June in Arizona and August 9th to Nov 10th in St Louis but never the less....I paid rent and called Minneapolis home for the last year!

We had our first real snow fall yesterday....a good 8 inches and Pete was in heaven! Wilbur....not so much! He is not a fan!

Who knows where I will be a year from now...only time will tell....

Taking Donations

I hate money! Or should I say I hate the lack of money! Since moving to MN I don't work OT like I did in AZ so my funds are not as fluid as I prefer. Sure I am paying for money mistakes from years past but geez can't a girl catch a break! That said...I am taking donations for the "go home for bekah's graduation" fund. At this point, I am not seeing any possible way to buy a plane ticket. Let alone pay to bring Wilbur with me. Graduation will go on without me but it would be great to be home!

I am the WORST blogger!

So, as the title of this blog states, I am the worst blogger! I just don't think my life is interesting. And so since that is what I think, why would I want to bore everyone else! Anyways....

Had a great trip home and to Disneyland last weekend. It was my older sister's 40th birthday! Well, Mia isn't my real older sister as I am the oldest but she is my older sister in my eyes! We had a great time despite our minor car accident! Won't be home again until the last half of May...when my baby sister graduates from high school! I just can't believe it!

Biggest Loser!

So...now that our sweet Bekah is 18 she and I would like to do an audition tape to be on the biggest loser! That said...we need your help. I will be in Tucson the end of March and we would like to make our video on Sunday March 28th! Unfortunately I am not the most creative! We would like your help in coming up with a video idea. The only thing I want for sure is to have as many members of the family in the video as possible! Thoughts anyone?!?!

So, things up here in Minnesota are going well. The weather has been mild by Minnesota standards but would be considered cold and crazy for AZ. I am enjoying it. I tend to run warmer than most. Today my friend Melissa and I spent a chunk of the day at the Mall of America. It is H-U-G-E! We probably only walked 1/4 of it and we where there for about 5 hours!

Work has been going really well. I have no doubt that moving here was the best move for me. I have met some great people that are on my side and want to help me grow. I have had some good opportunities to be a part of some projects that are getting me noticed even more! So, I decided that I need to dress a bit more professional. That said...i no longer carry one of my zipper purse to work. I purchased some nice dress shoes today at DSW. I actually wear makeup every day too!

So...no pictures to post today but it did snow a very light snow most of yesterday. It was fun to watch the little white flakes fall! People at work think I am crazy! And I suppose I am to a degree! I have been trying to figure out a way to come home for Christmas and my birthday but it just isn't working out. I am pretty bummed but also know I will be just fine. I am pretty sure the world won't end! Or maybe it will.
