Been gone all summer.
Not a lot has gone on this summer. We have just been busy busy. Rhett had school two days a week. We just watched Oaklee grow. She has grown so much, it's crazy. We were able to spend a lot of time with our families..We even got to see most of our New York Family.
It was so nice to see Lindsey and the kids. We miss them so much. We can't wait to see them again. We wish that we could go to New York for a visit.
We took Oaklee to the Sandy Aquarium. She could have cared less, Lindsey kids seemed to love it. I can't wait for next Summer Oaklee will be a little older and will love the zoo and the aquarium.
Rhett has started up school again, We both can not wait until he is finished with school. He is taking two classes again on in SLC and the other in Provo. I love that he gets out pretty early. Rhett also started a new job this summer.....
YAY to no more Wells Fargo!! He is so much happier since he has left them. The only sucky thing is that Wells Fargo has amazing insurance. I am sad about that. :(
Kudos to whoever has read all of this.
Here is a few updates on our little Oaklee. She is getting so BIG. She turned 5 months in June, she is not 7 Months. The time goes by so fast. I miss when she was just a wee little one...
BUT I love all the stages that she has gone through and is now going through.
She loves Peas, Sweet Potatoes, Banana's, Squash, Fruit Melody. She hates Carrots, and Watermelon.
She has been crawling for about a month. Before that she would get on her hands and knee's and kind of lunge herself forward. She loves her voice, and when Daddy sings to her.
She now crawls to the sofa and stands up, she falls down a lot.. She is so brave and gets right back up and does it again.
Thanks for Reading, Love TRO

Blessing Day
Get ready for a load of pictures!
We blessed Oaklee on April 17th. She was two Months old. We chose that day because Rhett's oldest brothers family was going to be here. We wanted to share the moment with them. It was great to have all of the Bjarnson kids together. I am just so sad that we didn't get a picture with all of the grandkids. O did so good during sacarment and during the blessing, but at the luncheon after she cried most of the time.
We invited so many people and knew that wew wouldnt be able to fit everyone in our home so we booked our clubhouse. It worked out great.
We had met with a member of the Bishopric and filled out all the paper work the Sunday before. On the day of the blessing, They forgot about us. Our home teacher had to go up and remind them all that we were blessing O that day. He had told us that they had forgotten to his baby's as wel.
It was so nice to see all of our friends and family .

2 Months
Wow, We can not believe that two months has gone by. It's been such a fun journey. We have had our ups and downs and all of it has really shown me that Rhett and I are really meant to be together. It's so nice to have someone that loves you help you transition into a family of three.
We really have enjoyed out little family! We still can not get over how cute she is and that we made her!
Oaklee is now smiling a ton! It so fun to see her little personality show. Most nights she is asleep at midnight and gets up at 10 AM. If we put her to bed before midnight (or if we are lucky to get her to go to sleep before) she will get up anywhere between 8 and 9 AM. We love her!

1 Month!
This little one turned a month old yesterday!! March 17th!! I can't believe a whole month has gone by. It feels like just yesterday Rhett and I were sitting in a hospital room waiting to go back in the OR to have our baby!
Here are a few things about Oaklee:
Nicknames we call her
Little O, Little girl, Little baby, Pumpkin, Sweet Pea, Oaks, and baby girl.
She loves Give said the little stream song and a song that her daddy made up for her!! I love the song. I'm trying to get him to put more words into the song and then record it.
I love that she smiles in her sleep!! It is so cute!
Oaks sleeps a lot during the day. She is up from about 9pm-12am sometimes up until 2am. I know I know I need to get her on a schedule.
I return to work in a month! I can't believe it! I would love to continue being a stay at home mom but I just isn't going to happen.
Rhett and I couldn't be more happy about our little family!

Oaklee Rose
Our Little Oaklee Rose was born Feb 17Th. We had our last doctors appt. on Tues Feb 15Th. When my doctor confirmed that we would indeed need a c-section. My pelvis is just too small to let my little one down. He said that there was no need to go past my due date (Feb 19Th). He asked us if we wanted to do the c-section on Wednesday or Thurs.. Rhett chose Thurs, he had already set up an appt to get our taxes done Wednesday night. I was so excited, nervous, sad you name it I was feeling it. At first I wasn't very happy about getting a C-section in fear that they wouldn't let Rhett be in the room when they gave me the spinal block to numb me. My doctor confirmed that Rhett would be playing a big part in that. The night of the 16Th and morning of the 17Th I could not sleep. I probably slept like 4 hours. I couldn't wait to meet my little one. They said that I couldn't eat or drink anything after 4am. I had my last drink of water at 3:50am. We had to be to the hospital at 10:30 am. The c-section was scheduled for 12 noon. We got there and they put us in room 201 had me get in the gown, leave a urine sample and started my IV. The doctor was running late because he had two other ladies in labor at Jordan Valley hospital. He got there around 12:15. At that point they had Rhett get in his little get up ( he looked so cute) They took us in our operating room. They put the blood clot socks on me. Had me lean on Rhett and started the Spinal Block. The numbing shots killed. I was squeezing Rhett's sides so hard and I had tears coming down my face. The nurse kept telling me that I was doing such a great job at holding still even though it felt like I was moving from squeezing so hard. I felt them put the spinal block in, mainly just pressure. That didn't hurt. Right before I felt the pressure the anesthesiologist asked for another needle. Come to find out that the first spinal needle had bent because he hit my bone. I never felt him hit it, I never felt pain from it after! Thank goodness!! We had our little girl about 5 to 10 mins after they started. ( Yes the rumors are true they do actually burn you open not cut and yes you can smell it) She was born at 12:40 pm weighing 7lbs and 1 oz 18 1/2 inches long. I had tears coming down my face the whole time. But Once I heard my little girl cry for the very first time I started crying even harder. It such a hard thing to describe the instant love that you have for that child. I loved her even more then when she was in my stomach. They brought her over to me still covered with the "cheese" I couldn't get over how cute she was. They let us take our first family pictures and then had to take Oaklee to the nursery because she had swolled some fuilds. She had to have oxygen for just a little bit. I guess that happens when you have c-sections. They we "putting" me back together with stitches and staples. Then they moved me to the recovery room and Rhett and Oaklee walked in. I had to be in the recovery room until I could move my feet. It took about an hour. Rhett and I used that time for just our little family!! I loved that hour where it was just my little family. Rhett then took her back to the nursery to have her first bath. He said that when they were taking her diaper off she had already pooped in it. Then they washed her put a new diaper on and she filled that. So they had to put another one on and she filled that. HAHA she went through three diapers so fast! I was taken to my room (223) I was in there waiting for Rhett to get back with Oaklee. They had given me ice chips, water and applesauce.. I threw up on myself twice. Rhett took lots of pictures of her. He is such a great daddy! He has been taking care of me and Oaklee since the 17Th. Not once complaining! I couldn't ask for a better husband or father!
We couldn't be happier! We love our little family!
