Sawyer The Destroyer

Sawyer the Destroyer gets on the war path a lot these days.  I found him in my drawers the other day.  I was trying to clean the house for some company but just as fast I as I was cleaning Sawyer was "un-cleaning" the place.  I don't believe these pictures show that he actually pulled the drawer completely out after he completely unpacked the entire thing.  He got so upset that I was packing the clothes back up, how can you be upset when he has such a cute face?

Look I can DRIVE!

Travis is such a gem!! I have been wanting to run hills to train for the Ragnar.  I only get to run them about once a week, usually Saturdays. Since we live in the flattest part of the valley, I have to seek them out.  Crazy I know, who wants to run hills? Travis had a genius idea.  If I brought him lunch then he would watch Sawyer while I went and ran the Bonneville Lake Shore Trail.  While I was away Travis decided to start driving lessons for Sawyer.  You can never start too soon.....right?

Easter Time

This Easter we got the opportunity to spend it Travis and his family in Minersville.  Travis is always bragging about how ''much fun it is, and how it is the best in the whole world".  I told him spending the Easter in Minersville has a lot to live up to after spending most of my Easters in Circleville.  It turned out to be just about as much fun as Travis said it would be.  We went to the hills and the "Easter Bunny" actually came and found us.  It even rode up on a 4-wheeler.  Sawyer didn't really care much for the Easter Bunny this year.  Maybe next year when he understands it a bit better.
"Somebody HELP ME!!!"

Yes I forgot sunscreen.  Sawyer is fried.

Loves for Grandma.

I love that he has his hand out the window and is just chillin'

Jarret had a baby duck.  Sawyer was not very impressed.
We also got to spend some time with my family while we were there.  Sawyer just loves his cousins which is good because they love him just as much.

Quietness=Mischief

One evening I was cleaning up the house after I got Sawyer ready for bed.  I left Sawyers room expecting him to follow me like he always does.  However, instead Sawyer wandered into my room and found his favorite toy my CELL PHONE.  Why is it that babies are so attracted to cell phones, and that they have to been working cell phones?
When I went back into check on where he was and what he was doing because it was entirely too quiet I found Saywer, who had climbed on his Dad's pile of clothes (honestly they are not mine), and retrieved my phone.  When I came back into the room I said "Sawyer, What are you doing?"  He then proceeded to hand me over the phone.  Such a cutie, life would be so boring without him.
I couldn't get him to smile like he was when I first walked in. Such an innocent face.

Swinging at the Park

We decided to take advantage of the few warm non-raining days in April.  We headed over the small park here at the Springs.  It is just big enough to satisfy our inner child.  We had to document our experience of course too so here are the results.
Wee, higher, HIGHER
We could not get him to look at us.  Silly Kiddo.

So funny story, maybe it was a "have to be there" moment but I am sure the people watching us swing from their windows got a good laugh.  So, Travis had given me an underdog.  I decided I would like to give it a try and give him one too.  Well he was already slightly swinging when I went to walk behind him.  Apparently, I have forgotten the rule about not walking behind a swing.  I completely misjudged how fast Travis was going and when I walked behind him he ran into me knocking me completely off my feet and sent me flying.  All we could both do was laugh, in fact, Travis fell out of his swing he was laughing so hard.  We have some great times!!

Sleepy Sawyer

I love when my baby falls asleep on me.  It is rare that he actually does this anymore though.  Nothing is better than snuggling with your baby.
