A Lil Whimsy
I had a few days this weekend to play in my studio rather than fight the snow.I had a bag of old wooden spools laying around that Ive been wanting to play with. I was really out of my comfort zone but decided to do something whimsical. These pieces took me a whole day!! Yes an entire day. The first one is a Valentines theme titled Be Mine(Original name huh?) The second is Wish upon a star. Hope you like them. Today I worked on not Valentines (Your not going to believe this but) Halloween !! Yes Halloween. Didn't I just put all that Say? LOL. I swear the challenges keep getting closer every year. Pretty soon I'll be creating pieces a whole year ahead.
Happy Stamping !!

House Love Built -Shrine
So I have made over 200 + Christmas cards. They have been mailed to Family ,friends and customers.I Figured I deserved a little ME time. I headed to the studio last nite and had a chance to play with my new stamps from Oxford Impressions. I can't show you everything. Some are being sent in for possible publication. But I thought I'd share the Shrine I made. I started with a thrift store find wood House ,antiqued it and gave it a crackle finish. Added all the found objects.Stamped the couple from Oxford Impressions Beloved plate. Added the elements that make up a marriage.I especially love the lace I added to the bottom to represent the sometimes fragile foundation of a marriage. Hope you like it !!Try to spend a little time playing yourself.

Owyhee Museum Unveiling
Last night was the Owyhee Museum unveiling/Christmas party. It was very exciting. They had about 40 to 50 people show up. The food and entertainment was wonderful. Everyone seemed to Love the display and mural. Still isn't quite finished. The paint was to wet to add the artifacts. Were still waiting for the special track lighting and the video of the flintknapper. The leather pedestal's will have the text screen printed on them soon. I took a few pictures to share. I,m not a photographer, the flash on the camera picked up glare from the Plexiglas. but at least you have an Idea. If your ever in the area be sure and stop by The Owyhee Museum.

Creations for Artistic Outpost
Here's a few things I did for Artistic Outpost as a guest Designer for 2009.I decided to play with my new images from Bluebird and make some Christmas items/cards with non Christmas Stamps. The tin mailbox was a thrift store find. Grunged it up and added the stamping and some snow, some faux letters with more images from the plate. Hope it gets you in the spirit of things. Another Christmas card. A optical Lense pin. These stamps are so versatile.I just Love them!! hope you like what I,ve created.
Hugs Lynn
