I just had dinner! zx paul and I cooked 3 very tasty dishes. (: one was xiao bai cai in oyster sauce (the saviour of food!), some sausage with egg dish which was awesome, and something we concocted known as teriyaki chicken surprise. hee hee. It was really funny. We intended it to be some kind of stir fry, but it ended up in mash because we boiled the potatoes for too long, so when I scooped it into the pan, it became mushy, and as we stired the teriyaki sauce in, it got more and more mashed up, so we transfered it to a pot and called in teriyaki chicken surprise, because we were surprised that it turned out so well! we were wondering whether we should even serve it, but it was so good and everyone was so full. (: but we didn't cook enough veggies and I'm constipated again. looks like a salad for lunch again tomorrow. but the salads are good. (:
anyway, I have decided to complain about some things. I had 2 initially, but I've forgotten what one of them was. -grumbles- anyway, first thing on my list: the toilet paper. I admire the fact that the people here are so environmentally conscious, such that they use 100% recycled paper for their toilet paper! my only gripe is that the paper practically dissolves when you use it, so it's like.. wth. EWWW.
ah I really can't remember what the other one was. hm. when I think about it, I'll write it!

wahaha I'm back again! I just went for a run and I feel like I'm going to drop dead and die. xf and zx run super fast. we just ran 3km in about 15+ mins. ): crazy.. ah so tired. anyway, not much has happened over the past few days. hee hee except that on tuesday evening I ran 6km! wahaha.. milestone for me man. (: it's the furthest I've ever run! -feels accomplished-
argh I'm so tired today. this week's lectures have been absolutely atrocious and so there has been so much extra reading and researching >.< last night I spent about 1.5 hours in sy's room using her tablet trying to draw out a summary of mitosis and meiosis for pcl, which, I may say, turned out absolutely beautifully (: just that it's 3 pages long, so I hope my pcl group doesn't kill me (:
I also had my flu and meningococcal immunisations today. the nurse was really cool.. she was talking to me and then before I knew it, she rammed the needle into my arm o.0 but the flu jab was horrible! my arm is still sore. ): stupid jabs. and it cost me $75! -grumbles-
the weather is becoming colder! I can't wait until autumn comes and the leaves change colour. My room overlooks a park.. well, at least a large patch of grass with several trees, so when the leaves start to change colour, the view will be amazing (:
Things are starting to settle down here. I think it's both a good thing and a bad thing. Personally, I'm starting to feel some homesick pangs now and then. I can say that I'm pretty much adjusted to uni life already, so yay (: but I miss home. Every now and then, I'll think about the family, paulee, the mafia, 208 society, all my friends, church.. I really miss it all a lot.. the familiarity. I would like to go back in June, but i don't think I should, with Eunice wanting to go to the uk to study and all..

Ok it's 7am! and I don't know why I'm blogging. It's almost as if I woke up just to blog. wahaha no just kidding.. I have lessons at 8 and I'm feeling bored eating my yogurt and muesli (which tastes really good :) ) but I'm just trying to finish up the yogurt because actually I bought small individual packs, but then sy and xf didn't like the french cheesecake flavour that they bought in a gigantic tub -.- so we traded and while they have finished the small packs ages ago, after a massive battle with the yogurt every morning, I have finally finished it! well, I am in the process of finishing the last bit anyway :) not to mention, I still have a few slices of bread from last week, and kw just handed me another half of a loaf o.0
AND stupid me, bought a whole head of lettuce, which is bigger than my head and only 100g of meat.. I made a sandwich for lunch on Sunday and ended up using 2 of the 4 pieces of turkey ham that I bought and about 5 leaves and the whole head of lettuce is still pretty much there. -.- and even then, I looked as though I was eating a lettuce sandwich with ham instead of a ham sandwich with lettuce -.-
ok yay the yogurt is finished. :) ugh this entry is so retarded.. but I just need to let some thoughts out before I explode. Just a lot of frustration in me at the moment.. and yeah. Just want to write out some stuff.. and I'll blog about Ernest's birthday celebration another time. Got to go wash up and go to school.. long day ahead! God bless :)

ack there's a draft blowing under my door >.< it's freezing! The high is 20 degrees! woohoo I think I can take my jackets out already :) yay! I want to use my trench coat and look like a member of the mafia. -amused- with sunglasses and all.. hee hee so amusing. daylight savings is over! wahaha which means I get one extra hour in the day, which means I have one extra hour to sleep every morning, which means I get one extra hour to study at night.. actually it still evens out in the end -.- but it's a psychological thing, especially the extra hour of sleep :)
Yesterday was a really fun day :) In the morning, kw, gina, june, ernest, eugene, kh, zp, jl, paul, cc, john and I met up at the brandon park bus stop to go to the glen! we were supposed to meet at 10, but ernest was still asleep at 10 and cc woke up at 9.55 or something. haha so entertaining. and jl said he wanted to buy a fridge and we were all thinking that he really wanted to die that day. it was really chaotic. we squeezed 12 people into 2 cars! all the girls plus eugene went into cc's car and then we went to the glen and when we got there, I almost fell out of the car because it was so cramped haha. then we had this frantic shopping round because the guys were hungry, so I was running around safeway throwing things into the shopping basket. -.- but grocery shopping is fun, I realised! especially when you're with friends. Then we went to this chinese restaurant for lunch. We all had to split up because there wasn't enough space to fit 12 people at one long table, so I sat with John, Chuay Choon and Paul. The idea was to split the guys up as much as possible so that they wouldn't spend too much. We ordered 30 dumplings o.0 this deep fried crispy duck (which was SO GOOD and potentially gave us kidney failure hee hee) and xiao long bao (which was not really xiao long bao.. at least not compared to the din tai fung one.) but it was a really good lunch and it was highly entertaining. we kept on spilling tea and stuff all over the table and we were talking about how at some restaurants, the staff spit into the food, so we were trying to be as nice to them as possible. hee hee.
ARGH the draft!!!!
after that one car of us went to coles. yes we went all the way to the glen to go to coles and safeway, when there's a coles at clayton town. wahaha. :) and it was freezing! when we were about to leave, we got a call from one of the guys in the other car to say that zp lost his keys. poor guy :( so we retraced our steps all the way to the glen before we we were told that he lost it sometime between lunch and going back so we were like like -.- haha but it was a nice car ride :)
when we got back to halls, I did some work and then jl, kw and I went to deakin hall to cook. I made chicken rice! which was initially quite disastrous because I didn't put enough water in AND we didn't have a rice pot, so we had to use eugene's pot, which ended up burning like mad at the bottom. but it was a good improvision! we bought a rotisserie chicken from coles, and jl made some stir fried veg, which he refused to put oyster sauce into, kw made bak kut teh. and we baked a brownie for ernest, whose birthday is today! smartly, none of us brought cutlery down, so some of the guys went to get some plastic cups and forks and spoons from the dining hall, and thus, we ate our dinner out of small plastic cups. it was really fun though. :) we were all sitting at the tables in deakin common room eating and laughing about lots of random stuff. the guys, as usual, were talking about army and they started talking about the ghost stories and stuff, which didn't scare me as much as I thought it would, surprisingly. :)
cleaning up was horrible though. I was scrubbing the pot we borrowed from eugene to remove all the burnt rice and bargh. but I got it clean in the end! wahaha with the help of ernest and jl. :D then we played table tennis. zp and myself teamed up against kw and ernest, and we won hee :) but it's because zp is a very good player. hee.
so yes, here I am on a sunday morning.. ah dammit i need to go get laundry. will stop here for now!! -hugs- God bless~

gosh I really update quite infrequently nowadays. But work is really starting to pile, so it's pretty exhausting. 2 nights ago, I slept at like 230 because I was trying to finish up a draft for today's pcl debate (which is overrr!! yarrrrghhh!!) and then I realised that I was supposed to read up for some tutorial the next day, so I finished the reading at around 1230-1. AND THEN I realised that I had to prepare for the syndicate tutorial other than the one on muso, so I was like DAMMIT and then I started on it (incidentally, we were supposed to do it DURING class -.-) and finished it at 2+ then I stoned for a while because I was so tired, then I went to sleep.
OMG there's this GIGANTIC moth outside my window. It's the size of my fist. >.< anyway, the past few days have been sweltering! ): on monday, tuesday and wednesday, the temperature was around 23-25.. then yesterday it went up to 33 and today it shot up to 38! it was really complete torture. and tomorrow it's going to be 19 degrees according to sy. ): but it was terribly windy today. There were these massive gusts of wind blowing around school and lucky for me, the skirt I was wearing didn't have the design of the rj skirt, if not that would have been a complete disaster! but it was really terrible. when kw and i were walking towards r1 for lecture, we could feel ourselves being blown about by the wind. we couldn't even walk in a straight line. then after lecture, the wind was blowing extremely violently, and all our hair was all over the place, and the wind brought a lot of gravel and sand and so it kept on hitting at our legs. -.- it was really quite painful ): bleh.
after that, kw, sy, xf, zx and i went to the deck by the lake behind the halls and had a mini picnic there. i brought some yogurt and had a small yogurt party. after that I was so bloated because i ate a gigantic peach just before (bought from QV market(: ) then about an hour plus later I went for dinner at the mess hall, which really tasted horrible, so I bought an ice cream to fill me up. AND THEN it started to pour, and since it was such a hot day, I left my window wide open. So I passed my ice cream to jl and sprinted back to my room. When I got back, ernest was telling me not to eat the ice cream because jl licked it. and I didn't feel like taking it, but then I didn't want to waste because he didn't want to eat it. so i just ate it, and when I almost finished it, only then did ernest tell me the whole story about how jl licked the ice cream and the cone to save the ice cream and i was like o.0 hee that was rather entertaining.
so now i'm still covered in dust and grime and stuff so I'm going to go take a shower. haha today was quite a nice day. (: just a little hot.

-blows dust- I haven't been here in a while! Quite a few things have happened since.. the last time I blogged. I can't even remember when that was. haha. Time is really flying by here, and I'm having so much fun! Studies are starting to pile up and I'm sick! which is a real bummer but ah well. This week we're doing DNA replication and transcription and translation, which is pretty cool since it's like a recap of JC stuff. AND mom sent me my JC notes! (I love mom!) which I find better than the lecture notes here, so it's nice to have a good reference.
Last Thursday, zx, paul and I cooked dinner and it was damn nice! (: -feels proud- I have the photo in my phone but I'm too lazy to upload it. But we cooked black pepper chicken, stir fried veggies, and a gigantic omelette and fried rice. Basically, we were just trying to finish up food that was going to expire. Paul had a whole carton of eggs he wanted to get rid of, so we cooked all 12. But we had some trial runs first, so we ended up wasting 2-3 of the eggs. But the other 9-10 turned out really well. We threw in ham (that was going to expire), cheese (that was probably already expired.. haha), mushrooms.. gosh we used to many mushrooms that night. I think we cut up about 15 mushrooms. There were mushrooms in every single dish. haha. But it was a really good dinner. I brought down some Lift, zx or paul brought down vanilla coke that was opened the week before.. HAHA. We have so many things that are about to go bad. It's quite amazing. We tend to over-buy a lot of things, I realised. Especially fruits. sy and xf brought the rockmelon that was over ripe, but tasted so good. It was a very filling dinner, very enjoyable and very healthy! The annoying this is that the fire alarm went off in the middle of our cooking, so we had to abandon all the food and go to the carpark. We finished dinner around 9-10, but it was really really fun. (:
On Saturday sy, xf, wd, sheryl and zx went down to town. sheryl and zx went to toorak to go see the clinic sheryl had her attachment at. which reminds me, i need to go look for my clinic.. I have NO idea where it is. -grumbles- yea so the rest of us went to southern cross, where we met armaan and went to DFO, which is the best place ever! It's an outlet mall where things are cheaper, so yay! we only go to spend an hour there though ): which was quite sad, but we had to rush down to QV market to buy groceries. I bought some peaches, which were so nice! then we went to safeway, officeworks. bah I think I'd better not go out this coming weekend. too much socialising! I need to review my work from the past 3 weeks >.< Armaan also brought us to his apartment, which is so nice! It looks like something out of the Ikea catalogue. (: Then he drove us back to school, which was really sweet of him. (: He needed to go return a book to the library, so he left zx, sheryl, sy, zx and I in the car and went to return it at HAL, which is quite far away. So while he was gone, being people with drivers licenses and itcy hands, we decided that we'd take his car for a spin around the carpark, which was empty. HAHA. shu was the first to go. she drove one round around the carpark, and we were all cracking up in the car because we were so amused. We were wondering what Armaan's reaction would be when he found his car in a different spot in the parking lot. Then Sheryl drove.. then me! his car was really hard to drive because it doesn't have power steering. It's a '92 Toyota corolla, but it's in pretty good condition! so I was driving round in circles and then he came back! So we were like oops.. but he was so nice about it! He told us that there was nothing to worry about, since we were driving in an empty carpark, there were no children that we could knock down. (: We drove back to halls and we were talking about how kh got a car, so Armaan said that we wouldn't hang out with him anymore because his car isn't as cool, and shu and I were like awww no Armaan, you're still our favourite guy. HAHA he's so funny.
That night, wd cooked dinner for us, and since we got back quite late, we ended up finishing our dinner at like 11. o.0 then shu and I wanted to watch the man u vs bolton match which was at 1145. Jeffrey actually offered to let us watch it at his place, but then we figured that we could definitely watch it at one of the tv rooms in the halls. we were WRONG. after dinner, I spoke to paulee for a while, had a bout of diarrhoea and took a shower. by then it was already 12+ and shuyu was so panicky oops. So we ran around the hall tv rooms to see whether anyone was watching soccer. Turns out that that night was also the night of the cricket world cup -.- so we couldn't find anywhere, and ended up watching it on her computer with a 1.5 minute lag time. OOH but Rooney's second goal was damn nice. (: I ended up sleeping at around 3.. bleh.
Yesterday was really bad for me because I was feeling absolutely horrible. With my bad throat and all. I woke up at like 9 and attempted to study but I was feeling really bad. I took a short nap and it helped a bit but I still felt like crap. jl went to pinewood and called me and asked me whether I wanted him to buy some lemsip for me, which i thought was really sweet (: so he bought me a box and I found out that it's damn powerful, because it made me sleep within one hour of taking it. But yeah, after I came back from church, I went straight to the dining hall, where paul, jl and ernest were eating and they said that I looked really really bad. >.< and I told them that I felt like crap. ): but yes after taking the lemsip and sleeping for about 9 hours, I felt so much better (: ahh sleep. I love sleeping.
Today was quite a short day, but I got arrowed for a debate this Friday for pcl and I can't debate for nuts!! -grumble grumble grumble- argghhh I hate debating, I really do!! i HATE debating. Do I look confrontational to anybody?! ): But Armaan was really funny today. He was talking about what he was going to wear for his site visit this wednesday, and he said he didn't have anything except for a black long sleeved shirt and long black pants, upon which he thought for a while and said that maybe he should bring a scythe along with him. Then he could look at the screen and go "not good, not good" hee he's so funny.
so yes, I'm sitting in my room now, waiting for dinner which will be in about 1.5 hours. trying to study and feeling so tired BLEH. ok I shall stop here. (: need to go back to work. lalala.

It is now 638am. One may wonder WHY I am up so early when I can actually just wake up at 7am for lecture. It's because my printer has decided to go cranky on me and so I got up earlier to try to rectify the situation. ): I was so frustrated last night, I just started to tear and I think I kind of took it out on paulee ): feeling quite guilty now.. *sigh* but yeah, I was really upset last night, because when I wanted to do work, my printer didn't work,and I ended up spending a good hour or 2 trying to solve the problem, and in the end, I was too tired to try to study. At least there's the 5 hour break today! (: so it's not too bad I suppose.
Here's a list of things I have to do:
1. Read Life Chapter 5
2. Read Guyton on transport into cells
3. Read Kumar and Clark Chapter 12
4. Research alcohol metabolism for syndicate tutorial on Thursday
5. Research on how to prevent hangovers for PCL (this is exciting! hee hee)
ahh so many things to do. now i know how the nus law people feel like. but I kind of like the work. not that i'm being masochistic, but it's just that this is something I really really want to do and coming here, like jl said, you feel like studying for studying, not just to pass. :) I really really love it here, it's just that last night, it was like a spasm of stress and homesickness at the same time, so that kind of sucked. but yes, thank you, God, for the good rest. I think I needed that. :)
Bleh. I'm starving and I don't feel like eating cereal, which is my only food. haha my cupboard is full of those small boxes of cereal that mom took from the motel. I'll just eat that but I'm running out of milk! I need to buy milk!

I'm back again! (: at the moment I'm feeling slightly miffed and really groggy. I just spent the last 3 hours or so trying to read up for this week's work and a bulk of that was spent trying to read the medical law bit about ethics and OOH that was bad. My head hurts now! It was basically about autonomy and the rights of the patient to deny treatment. It was really interesting, but it's quite annoying when the pdf file is kind of blurry and the words are not very clear and you know that printing it out would be a waste of ink because it wouldn't be clear anyway, so you read it on the comp and your eyes just pop. haha that was quite long (: but yay I feel accomplished because I finished it! (:
haa I feel like I have enough time to study today! for once. hee. at least, I hope I do. I can't really study now, because there're some people drifting in a carpark somewhere and I can't concentrate at the moment. AND I had a donut for lunch and a big jug of water, so I'm feeling rather bloated right now.
It's now 12.49pm here, which means it's 9.49am in Singapore, and mass is going on now! (: I really miss SVDP. I miss the familiar church environment that I suppose I took advantage of when I was at home. I miss my darlings whom I could easily sms or call or something to go date at random times (: I miss mom, dad, che, yai, eunice.. I keep on having dreams about home. Like last night I dreamt about church, the night before I dreamt about the mafia, paulee, darlie.. yeah. Then there was another night I dreamt that I was home for the weekend. HAHA. That would be interesting. Get a private jet (: hee.. maybe when I win the lottery 10 million times or something. that's the life man. (: but yeah.. when I'm alone in my room, I just think about home and reminsce, look at photos.. there's no place like home.

haha I'm talking to shuyu on the phone now and I'm blogging at the same time. Today was such a wonderful day! (: I feel really really happy!
The day did start out quite crappy though. I had to wake up for an 8am lecture! so knowing how long girls take to get ready generally, I woke up at like 630 and was super groggy, and wanted to drop dead, with puffy eyes and everything, only to go to lecture and get dismissed 40 minutes later. goodness, that was annoying. and the lecturer this morning was just reading off the slide. I might as well not have gone for lecture. I was sitting next to zp and he was drawing on his notes and stuff. (:
PCL session was really really good today (: we were talking about so many things and although I did space out a little bit during the session, it was very interactive and I find that I'm learning a lot through these sessions. I really love PCLs (: OOH and I got my clinical placement for next month. It's at Box Hill, which is supposedly quite near Clayton, so woohoo (: I'm really excited! I can't wait to meet patients and talk to them! I don't know of anyone else going to Box Hill at the moment, but ah well, I'm sure I'll find someone (:
I went to get the results of my mantoux test and I failed it! as in, the bump in my skin as a result of the tb virus they put in was too small so I have to go and do it again! -.- 0.o -mutters- -grumble- I was really irritated, but then when I left the clinic, I ran into Jeff and another senior (I can't remember his name.. oops) they asked what I was doing and I told them I had finished for the day and they told me they were just about to start, so I was like HAH. (:
After that I went to meet Paul who was trying to get his working permit done, but couldn't because he's underaged, and we went down to Chadstone together. It was quite amusing, because we saw the sign for the 900 bus and it said that it was arriving at 1.43pm and the 2 of us were like ?! and we still hadn't eaten lunch yet, so we thought maybe we'd go get something else first. But he decided to ask someone and turns out, we were at the wrong bus stop. So we took the 900 to Chadstone. We met Josh there and the 3 of us had lunch. Then Sheryl and zx came and ate too! xf, sy and wd came later after having lunch at mannix and then we all walked around the mall for a while. We then went to coles to buy stuff. This week is zx's and my turn to cook, so we decided to make black pepper chicken, stir fried veg and a soup. (: yay.. we're all turning into chefs. Not only did we buy food, but since there was a whole group of us there, we ended up buying 5-6 boxes of laundry detergent and 4 bottles of fabric softener, milk, eggs and various other necessites. zx also went to kmart to buy a toaster over -.- i wanted to buy a bar fridge, but then 1. it would have been absolutely impossible to carry back and 2. they were out of stock anyway. but I was quite annoyed with the 2 of the kmart staff members, because they were quite dismissive when I made my enquiry. box them. but ah well, forget about that (: we then lugged everything back to halls. hc drove some stuff back for us though, which was really sweet (:
I got the parcel mom sent me today! (: it had my bio notes and my precious sunglasses, which I really really love!! (: then zx, sheryl, xf, sy, paul and I walked to south east flats where we were to have dinner. while waiting for sheryl, sy and zx decided that i would be entertaining to feed the ducks -.- so they fed the ducks and pigeons small pieces of bread and they started to squabble and fight over the bread. it was quite scary, so we started to back up, and they followed and soon they started chasing us up the hill. it was so freaky and the white goose was HUGE. It was so fat! soon they retreated and after taking some stupid photos, we commenced our walk to SEF. kw and charmaine went to cook the beef and some french toast while the rest of us warmed up the chicken and sausages and ham and watched charlie and the chocolate factory. I love Johnny Depp! we started eating around 9 and were just talking and taking photos. it was very very enjoyable (:
after dinner, while zx, kw, sy,xf, paul, sheryl and I were walking back, we noticed that the sky was really nice, so we went to the field near sef and while we were standing around looking up at the sky, we saw a shooting star! and the sky was so pretty and the air so cool, we decided to lie down in the field and stargaze (: there were not many bright lights around. the place was lit, but we were lying in the middle where it wasn't so bright, and the sky was littered with stars and while we were lying down we saw another shooting star! and we were just lying down, looking up thinking about different things. it was so nice and so cold and so enjoyable. It made me think about my darlings back home, paulee, what my life would be like 10 years down the road and things like that..
after that I came back to my room to thaw because it was FREEZING outside. and then sy and i had a gossip session hee. We were talking about so many random things (: very enjoyable! haha anyway, I'm super tired now, so i'll be going to sleep. today really was such a nice day (: -feels happy-

hello I'm back again! (: the past few weeks have really been a blur. There have been so many things going on! The most dramatic one I think, was when the temperature dropped to 21 degrees one day, and that morning we had an 8am lecture. That was HORRIBLE. but yes, it is now Wednesday, and I got to sleep in this morning! woohoo (: so I woke up at 845 instead of my usual 630 and it makes SO MUCH difference!
on Saturday I met Du Yang and we went to the city for lunch and gelatos. (: we actually had a really crappy lunch until we came.. *sound of harps* here. It's this shop called Brunetti's and it's absolutely gorgeous.. we had our gelatos here, although I was quite tempted to eat just about everything else.
this is the most beautiful choc fountain I've ever seen.. to gauge size, look at tap next to it. I almost burst into tears when I saw it. haha no just kidding, but it's massive!!
the rest are just SOME of the displays in the shop (: so many cakes, so little time. When we walked into the shop, dy and i were thinking ,"THIS IS IT!" and there were quite a few gelato flavours, so I was feeling so happy :) so yes, and here's dy and me!
meh I look fat. but anyway, on Sunday, I went to church with hc, charmaine and paul. it was a really nice church! after that we stopped by a farmer's market to buy some fruits. the watermelon was twice the size of my head. it was so cool! the capsicums were massive and they were selling 10 kg of apples for $7. :) so nice! After that we went to the city and had lunch and walked around for a while. In the evening there was the Singapore students dinner, so they got people from Monash Clayton and Caulfield, RMIT and MelbU to go to the city for a dinner and get together. It was quite fun :)
ugh my norton is giving me problems -.- vista is giving me a lot of problems, but on the bright side, MY MSN IS FINALLY WORKING! :) hee I actually managed to get on! I spent an hour tweaking it yesterday. :) normally when something isn't working, I run straight to the IT person, in this case, jl. he didn't manage to get it up, but then I read through the help info and I did it! -feels accomplished-
I had my crazy immunisations yesterday. Since I didn't take the BCG injection, but rather took 6 months worth of pills when I was in the US, they're testing me for it again! -.- and it looks horrible. First was the blood test which was awful, because I didn't drink enough water, so the nurse couldn't find my vein, so she jabbed the needle into my skin and started poking around inside for my vein. bleh. I should drink more water. but that was horrible. Then after that, I had to see another nurse to get some of the (I think) dead tb virus into my skin. and that was even worse. It hurt even more! >.<>
I'm stopping here for now :) got to go get some work done :) Yay studying here is so enjoyable! and I love sitting on the lawns of the campus having lunch or just stoning. People even sleep on the lawns during their breaks, which I find quite cool. :) Righty will blog more later! God bless :)

haha I survived my first week of school here, and I must say that I really really love it :) The studying here is unbelievable! In a good way of course. Classes are so engaging, and people are so sponatneous and my PCL group is so nice! We had a PCL tut yesterday (Friday) and it was 2 hours long, but it didn't feel like 2 hours. It went by so quickly because we there was so much discussion and so many ideas were flying around the room and I found that I picked up information more effectively in PCL tut than, say, a normal classroom. We just started touching on the science aspect of medicine yesterday, which was pretty much a very brief recap of JC bio. So far, we've been analysing a lot of issues in relation to social science, philo and psychology, which is so interesting. I feel that they have really covered such a broad spectrum of medicine, instead of just the scientific aspect of it. :)
I did something really stupid yesterday. -.- I wanted to write an email to yong jeng.. but somehow, in my stupidity, i ended up sending it to the entire Oteam 2005 yahoo groups. -.- stupid me. I was telling zeng that at least I have this one year to get away from the embarrassment and she was being mean and told me that it'll take more than one year for people to forget about this kind of thing -.- yong jeng is EVIL! :)
Last last night I went running around campus with xf, sheryl, zw and zx. It was so nice! The weather was so cold and I ran about 3km around campus and I still felt ok. But I decided to head back with Sheryl because I didn't want to give my body too much stress, since I haven't been exercising for a while. Ok fine I'm just lazy. But exercise is good for you! :)
Last night, I went for a rosary session in the small chapel with the Catholic group, and it's nice to meet other Catholics here. :) I was talking to a girl named Nicole (and I thought of cow and I was thinking about how much I miss her) and she said that actually a lot of people turned up! :) then after that sy, xf, kw, zw, zx, paul and I went to monash pizza to get some pizza. (duh) it's about a 15 minute walk from campus, so we were strolling there around 8 and the sky was starting to get darker and the weather slightly cooler :) Paul and I were talking about cars and he wants his Lotus while I want my.. vw beetle and kw wants her convertible :D I noticed that the sky is getting darker slightly earlier and earlier. When i first got here, at 9pm it was still as bright as day. Yeah, we bought 2 large pizzas, one loaf of garlic bread, lamb ribs and a bottle of soda, all for $30! That was awesome! and the pizzas were really good.. they made it in front of us and everything! and so cheap! :) then we walked back to school and decided to sit at some wooden benches in front of howitt hall. We were there for more than an hour just talking about stuff like roller coasters, scary movie, scary movies.. and zx and i were talking about the tower of terror.. good stuff man. :D
ahh ok i'm damn sleep. it's 230 am here and i think i'm going to turn in now. going to sleep in tomorrow then meet du yang for lunch!!! :D take care and God bless!
