i just came back from the ntu csa foc yesterday and i totally died. i had a lot of fun there! :) i didn't go on the first day. on wednesday morning, i left the house really early with dad and eunice with all my stuff and went to ntu. when i was on the bus, i called john and he didn't pick up! so i just waited at the bus stop for a while. harhar. eventually he did come pick me up from the bus stop and i met my group! and they really are a fun bunch of people! :) the first day, there were outdoor games but i didn't get very dirty. -feels happy- and i actually had a reunion!!! cheryl ann (from my pri 1 and pri 3 class) was there!!!! hee. i was quite apprehensive about going at first, but everyone there was really really nice! and the whole atmosphere was very warm. :D we slept in hall 1, which i'm praying VERY HARD i don't get. :( i want hall 3 or hall 16. -cross fingers- anyway, the first night was terrible, because i couldn'tr eally sleep. i kept on tossing and turning and i kept on waking up. but eventually morning came and we started some amazing race thing where we went to churches around singapore. haha. quite funny, but we went to some pretty familiar places like holy spirit and christ the king! :D then we ended up in the catholic archdiocese youth centre which is in hougang!!! so close to home, so that made it even better. :D that night was insane though. i slept at like.. 5am. we had the sp night then after that we were just sitting in the room downstairs playing stupid games like pass the button. the button was passed to me!!! :( then the guy in the middle.. can't remember who it was said stop!!! but he was looking in some other direction. then smart me, for some strange reason started clapping my hands with one fist balled up and the other clapping against it. then he pointed at me and i was like uh oh. then vanessa who was sitting next to me said "drop it onto your jeans!!" which i did then i opened my hands. but she didn't see me do that, so she kept on slapping my leg until all of a sudden the coin fell onto the floor. -.- as a punishment, "I WILL NEVER LIE AGAIN" was written all over my arms. :( bleh. and then we continued the game upon which the coin was passed to me again but the person on my left didn't place it onto my palm. instead it dropped onto the floor. so i suffered some more vandalism on my skin. -.- so fun though!! then we played the animal game and i was iguana. :D
today was the second growth session for yiss. i'm a little disappointed because the turnout was smaller than i expected. :( but then i still had a good time being with my friends. :) and i made a new friend today!!! :D the session was very calming for me, but it was nice to see others touched by the spirit, to see God manifest Himself in them. :) i was really happy for them! :)
I haven't blogged in a while. not much stuff has been happening lately.. I also didn't feel like blogging. heh. :) Yesterday morning was really nice!! xin yong jeng and i met up in rj and we went jogging!! hui yan was supposed to come but she overslept. -.- haha so we jogged 4 rounds.. but we were on the outer lane!! so i'm convinced that's about equal to 6 rounds. :D so we jogged 2.4. AND we had to jog in a zig-zag manner because there were classes having pe. it was so funny.. some juniors came up to us with this completely amazed look on their faces and asked us what we were doing in school and when we said jogging, they looked even more amazed. yeah i would have been amazed to. who goes to school to jog after they've graduated?! yes, mad j3s like us.
Friday was my last day of work.. kinda sad that i'm leaving. I won't see liu rui everyday any more. :( and my lab people. It wasn't as fun in the beginning compared to the end. In June when all the permanent staff went on vacation or for their conferences in the US, except for MM, who usually comes quite late in the day :) , all the students and younger people (haha) would go for lunch together. I suppose that's when i really got closer to everyone there. :) it was really nice and i miss them a lot. :)
