I have discovered that a major source of irritation for me is the mrt. I'm not talking about the service. It's more like the people. I was on the train the other day and I noticed a lot of things. So, I decided to create a nice little list of the things that irritate me on the train.

1. People who refuse to give up their seats for those that need it. It's the "sit and watch and hope someone else will give it up" syndrome.
2. Kids who pole dance on the holding handles. If you want to do it, do it in places where people will actually appreciate what you're doing.
3. Kids who run around up and down the train.
4. Parents who see these kids doing these things and not do anything about it.
5. People who hug the pole instead of holding it. Ok this is excusable in an empty train but when the train is full don't you think that people would want to have something to hold on to keep their balance?
6. People entering the train who refuse to wait for those exiting the train. I think this is the most annoying. They crowd at the door, which really doesn't help traffic, and barge their way in. This woman almost knocked me over in her quest to get a seat the other day.
7. People who rush for seats as if it's the most important thing. It's like a mini race. The other day, there was this little girl who rushed for the empty seat at the same time as the old woman. Being more agile and small, naturally she reached there first. But when she saw the old woman, she just continued sitting there. Best part: her mother was there and didn't even check her. This is what the young are like nowadays. Sad..
Ugh i'm really getting very irritated. I'll stop here..

I'm feeling sad. Yesterday I realised how out of touch I've been with the people I love most. It really sucks. It's like I've lost everything that meant to much to me and whatever is left is merely skin deep. I hear them talk about things and they all know everything about each other and when I hear it it's like new. So I feel like I shouldn't make any comment. UGH. I feel so guilty. These people have been my close friends, even my best, for so long and yet I feel like I hardly know anything about them anymore.
I'm selfish.
I haven't made a point to keep up with these people and it's my fault. :(
I'm glad for yesterday. It made me realise how much I miss everyone. Especially one person in particular. I'm going to do something about that.
Ugh I feel so upset. I miss everyone so much but it's like.. I don't know I feel empty.
I hate this.
I fall on my knees and I try to pray. In the silence I can hear Him say, "The river runs and the river hides, out to the ocean and under the sky. I promise you the answer will come, hold on to patience and watch for the sign. Everything in it's time.."
God, grant me peace and strength and perserverance.

hello! ooh i'm so happy! my computer internet is up!! FINALLY! :D i'm so so so happy and i thank Ben for helping meeee!! I can go online late at night, like now :) without worrying about Eunice waking up and yelling at me :)
Life has been quite monotonous lately. hai. I'm downloading some funny stuff. and it's kinda cranky so I'm typing this on wordpad. bleh. I don't have microsoft office yet. But Singapore Post has this really great offer for students.. under 20 at least.. they're selling some exclusive Microsoft office, which probably only has word, excel and powerpoint, for $129!! It's really cheap! and it can be bought at any post office! hee I should be paid for doing publicity for them.
Power 98 has really amazing music now! I was listening to it for the whole day today! That's quite a feat for me. Normally I change radio stations every 5 minutes or less because I hate the songs on it! :) But today they really played a lot of nice songs! A lot of repeats but I heard a lot of really nice ones! I love Greenday! and Kelly Clarkson! and Nickelback! :) it's so nice to hear your favourite songs on the radio! or nice ones for that matter! there're a lot of crap songs on the radio nowadays! hmph.
I've started driving! :D it's really fun but today's lesson was so disastrous because i was so sleepy after watching the grammy's last night! and I'm so happy for U2! :) i like U2. I remember last time in secondary school, Shun Ling or some other people would go E-LE-VA-TION!! then everyone around would go WOOOOOO OO OOOOOO!! hee all the screaming and stuff. i miss them :) then there was another one.. i can't remember. hm.
I really like Nickelback's [quite] new song, Photograph! :) it's so nice and it makes me think about all the old times. "Look at this photograph, everytime I do it makes me laugh.."

hello! i'm in bangkok now! :) using ben's computer. che, mom and ben are watching cnbc now. :) the rooms are so nice! :D today we went to chatuchak to go shopping and i have decided that i totally cannot shop in places like these. the bargaining.. the heat. i felt like passing out because there was very little air, the passages were narrow and it was like ugh. i cannot bargain at all. i'm hopeless in these kinds of situations! the worst part was that che got pickpocketed!! :( it's disgusting. we came to a conclusion that most of the "shoppers" are not really there to shop at all but to pickpocket. they are so skilled because the purse was in her pouch! :( but luckily she only had like 50 baht inside. but at least they didn't steal her main wallet. tip: whenever you go travelling, always split money. :) luckily they didn't steal her main wallet which had more baht inside so yay :)
so far, i've only bought like 2 or 3 things? i'm so picky about clothes! it takes me forever to shop for clothes and i hardly buy things because i'm so choosy about these kinds of things :) oops.
tomorrow i'm going to a SPA!! :D che and i were checking it out last night. it's called health land spa and it looks GORGEOUS :) ooh i can't wait to go!!! i'm going to go for aroma therapy and a foot massage! :) ah.. foot massage :)
there's a beautiful mall here.. i mean BEAUTIFUL. it's like 3 times the size of paragon and it;s called siam paragon and it's like WOW. there are fountains all over the place it looks like a world class hotel :) ooh. :D AND there's an underwater world in the basement too!! it's like -drool- and we're going there tonight!!! :D ok we're leaving soon! :)
