new seating plan

Dear all,

Because of the increasing number of bratty groans and moans, and continuous "I want things my way" whinings, I have come up with a new seating plan. So starting from next Monday, you will sit according to the new arrangement. Please clear your books from your current table by Thursday, in order to facilitate the smooth shift.
Also, I do not want to hear any more complaints about the new arrangement. As always, you would need to adhere to this new arrangement until I decide that you need to be rearranged again. Subject teachers have the discretion to shift you around as they deem fit.

Thank you.

.reminders!.

Hi guys.
Unfortunately, we've come to the end (SOB!) of our delicious 4-day break, so here's a reminder for the week ahead:

Bring your O level TYS this week, we're going to put in more much-needed practice!
The rest of the Book Talk will take place this Friday! We need to finish all by this week.

I keep reminding you to keep the classroom neat and tidy. Please don't overload the poor dustbin with litter, those on duty, do remember to empty the bin regularly.

Thanks.

.Alert!.

Please take note that the Book Talk NPPA is scheduled for THIS FRIDAY, 16 February!!!

Length of each presentation: Approximately a minute.

Just in case...
Here’s your chance to be a book critic!

After having read your book, tell your classmates about it. In your book talk, consider the following:

♣ Introduce the title and author of the book
♣ Give a synopsis of the book (e.g brief storyline for fiction, general topics for non-fiction)
♣ Share with your classmates whether or not you enjoyed reading the book, as well as the reasons
♣ Tell them something that you really remember about the book (the content, not things like “I really remember the author’s name” or “I really remember what the front cover looks like”. Yes, things like that are NOT accepted.)
♣ Conclude with a rating of the book – Maximum of 5 stars?

You may wish to add in any other relevant pieces of information to enhance your book talk.

Grading criteria:
Presentational skills [clarity, engagement with audience, confidence]
Language skills

Total marks: 20
