KNCT (Kumamoto National College of Technology) student
exchange event was held between 7 Oct 2014 and 9 Oct 2014. It was organised
by both FBI SIG and MNS SIG! The event was a successful one where everyone had
fun especially on the last day~
1st day
The KNCT and TP students were grouped into a total of 7
groups. The KNCT students had their refreshment first when they arrived in TP.
During refreshment, we mingled with the KNCT students.
Next, FBI SIG and MNS SIG put up some performances. FBI SIG
performed the 'Cheeky Dance' while MNS SIG performed the 'Singapore Town' dance.
During the performance, we invited the KNCT students to join in the dance with
us! We also had the FBI helpers to dance along as well~ :
After our performance, it was time for the KNCT students to
showcase too! They prepared many activities, which included Calligraphy,
introduction to their culture in English (impressive!), Karate, and they also
taught us how to fold origami.
Next, it's the bonding session! Station games were setup!
All of us had lots of fun with them and bonded with them.
Lastly, a tour around TP! All the groups took a lot of
photos for memories! :) Also, taking group photo was a must!
2nd day
Robotic Day!! A day planned by the KNCT! Also, TP students brought
them to the canteen for lunch.
Prize Presentation for the winning groups for the robotic
challenge!
"Even though we lost, my group is still the winner in the
leader’s heart!" said the leader of group 6.
3rd day (Last day, sadly)
Exploring around Singapore! WoohoO! The most fun day for
everyone as we got to go out with the KNCT student! Shopping, Play, Enjoy! :)
We even went to airport to send them off on Friday!
A helper for KNCT event said, "It was fun! And we must
ensure no one get left behind"
Another helper said, "A great experience where we get
to learn about their culture!"
