Day 361-End of the Project 365!

July 26th, 2012!
I turn one year old today! I feel like I've grown so much over the last year-I've tripled in size and outgrown countless outfits! I've learned so much and been so many places. Ive heard my mom telling people that "for years people have been telling her that kids grow up fast...but she didn't realize how fast until I came along!"
I'm looking forward to the 2nd year of my life and what adventures it will bring!!!

I never caught one-but I got pretty close. Just wait til I'm walking!
*Remember it was a leap year this year-thats why there is an extra picture*

We came to SPI for a short vacation. The beaches here are so pretty. I found lots of sea shells and enjoyed crawling around on the sand!

One more pic in the photo booth before its torn down.

We had my birthday party today! So many people came over to help me celebrate. My very hungry caterpillar cake was sooo good. I love sugar. I wanna party everyday!

Papa G and Gigi are here and they brought down gifts from family and friends in New Jersey. They even let me open up my presents early!

Days 351-360

 Every boy needs some sticks!

Peek-a-boo with everything I can find.

All-Star dads! Travis and Eric agreed to take us boys to Kindermusik once this summer. They were pretty excited about it. That day other dads showed up too. The director of Kindermusik came up to take a picture of all the awesome dads(i couldn't get my hands on one tho). We had so much fun with our dads!

Playdate with Simon(my neighbor). We can both show off our standing skills now. We later went outside to see his chickens and make some tie-dye shirts!

"I see a firetruck. A big red shiny firetruck."

Off to the races!

Mardi Gras!
Mom's been shopping for my birthday party photo booth. I get to try everything on for her!

Maybe I will one day I will have a ring like moms that says class of 2033!!!

We went to the Dallas Zoo! My mom was stoked that we got to feed the giraffes-since its her favorite animal! If you ask me what a giraffe says-I stick out my tongue like I'm eating leaves!

Days 341-350

Uncle Stephen worked at YFN (Youth for the Nations) with thousands of teenagers from all over the world who come to meet with Jesus and have their lives completely transformed by the power of God. He was the guy in charge of coming up with all the games and making sure they run smoothly. Thanks for being a Godly example for me to follow!!!

My mom and I went for a walk today and her phone jumped out of the cup holder and flat on its face. the screen is cracked pretty bad...at least she can't blame me!

I love looking at myself in the mirror. Look at the mess I've made of the house:) I am to blame for that!

Love my "new" toys people were getting rid of!

"Hey! You're wearing my shirt bro!" We go to Jason's Deli to meet up with friends from our bible study every other week. Jayden and Chandler are pretty cute!!!

We went to Lake Somerville with the Merkeys (and a bunch of their friends) and our friends Ryan & Leah to celebrate the fourth! So much fun!

Daddy build me my first pillow fort. I love climbing!

I love going into rooms and closets and shutting myself in. Then mom and dad go all over the house and try to figure out which door it was. haha fun game I like to play:)

Gpa, Gma, and uncle Justin came in for a visit and to fix our sprinkler system!!! and put lights in the closets! Im gonna grow up to be pretty handy! Thanks!

Days 331-340

So I've decided I don't want to be fed pureed food anymore. It is a fight every time mom tries to feed me-food all over the place! Just cut up some food and ill feed myself now. Mom was wondering how to know when Im ready for solids-here's your answer:) you can't really tell by the pic but food is in my hair, ears and nose.

Story time with daddy and my buddies in church nursery

Bubbles!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Day 321-330

Papa G and I are helping mommy on a project to re-do her laundry room.

Having a blast at schlitterbahn! We went to the bodies exhibit this morning. It was pretty amazing, but they didn't allow any photos (at least mom didn't have to pick between them for the pic-of-the-day)

So many great dads here (Mines the best tho)! Glad to be able to spend the day with each of you! XOXO

Reflections

Mr. G is from Italy. His pizza is amazing. In honor of Papa G's tradition (Pizza on Fridays) we treated ourselves to this huge meat-zone!

Helping Dad and Papa G fix the boat floor. What a job!

Splashin' in the pool makes me all smiles:)

Celebrating Papa G coming in town with some Spoons!!! Mmmmm

Hi everybody

Days 311-320

Buying local at the farmers market

Dad's been wanting a "beater" car for a while...his dreams finally came true:) Just don't touch anything when you get inside for a joy ride-it might break.

Fun time at the splash pad with my buds

Animal day at the Bryan library. They had a cow, llamas, a huge dog and this 165 pound turtle!

Venus crossed over the sun today. It won't happen again in our lifetime, so we had to see it. Our neighbors had a telescope they let us look through. Venus is the size of earth and when it crossed over the sun it was just a tiny black dot (like on the sun in the pic). pretty amazing.

Mom just happened to drive by the College Station library today and see life flight, a fire truck, ambulance, police car, tractor, and some other big rigs. So we called dad and he met us up there to check it all out. I got to sit inside life flight (I hope I never have to go for a ride!) and I got to get locked in the back of the police car (I hope thats never for real!) but it was fun looking at it all!

SNICKERS!!! Do I need to say more???

My first time to pull up to standing! Oh boy:)

My friends from church get together every Thursday to play. So much to do I just can't sit still!
